Any good Wii games?

I just got a Wii over the weekend and I only have two games for it, Wii sports (Came with it.) and Cooking Mama. (Lol at Japanese people trying to speak English. XD) I was planing on going out tomorrow and maybe get another game for it, but I didn't really expect to get a Wii so I have no idea what kind of games they have for it other than Animal Crossing and that Bleach game with the Arrancar. So, what kinds of games would you suggest? ​

 

how is Cooking Mama btw? i always wanted to try it.

anyways, get Soul Calibur Legends. good game, unfortunately it seems to be a hit or miss game meaning you'll either love it completely or hate it completely, either way, worth dropping the $20. but don't get it for the multiplayer, the multiplayer sucks.

also DEFINTELY get Super Smash Bros. Brawl. unless you have no one to play with, there is an online mode but it lags so i got bored of online mode quickly.

House of the Dead 2 & 3 Returns. it's the arcade version of House of the Dead, it's fun, only $30 :)

Mario Kart Wii. my latest Wii addiction, it's fun, the online mode is great, you can play with 12 people and it doesn't lag at all!

Mario Party 8 is also a hit or miss game btw.

No More Heroes and Super Mario Galaxy are a must. I'm pretty sure Madworld is coming out pretty soon too so be sure to get that.

 

oh tell me more about Super Mario Galaxy, is that a 2 player game?

and i jsut rememberd another game:

NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams. it's a girl's game but i like it, the gameplay is like Sonic the Hedgehog.

Cooking Mama's one of those games that it's so stupid you have no choice but love it. Lol. I had it for my DS before, so I knew I'd like it. Cookoff is only $20 bucks so ya.

How do you do the online thing on the Wii anyway? I looked in the booklet but I can't figure it out. There's no ethernet plug or anything like on my PS2.

i believe it uses Wi-Fi or something which is wireless. i dont' know if there is a cable to plug into it, i could've sworn there was but i'm not sure.

anyways, you can't get online if you have dial up. you need DSL i think. the way i do it is go to "Internet" in the options and have it connect to my wireless router. if you don't have DSL i heard you can get something called a Nintendo Wi-Fi USB connector, but i never used it before so i'm not entirely sure of that either. this is the product, it's cheap but i would research it before i would buy it just to be sure.

Thanks. I have a cable internet but my wireless router is broken, so I might have to get one of them. They don't by chance sell them in Gamestop or something, do they? I can't by crap offline since my mother is all "Computers are gonna steal your identity! *Insert spasm here*"

Harvest Moon! XD. God, that game is so damn addicting! I have like 4 games of that. (2 for PS2, One for DS, and One for GBA)​

 

i dont' know if they sell it at Gamestop, if they do it is probably going to be a higher price than at Amazon though.

 

the best wii game that i know of thats relatively new is Wii Fit... its the best for everyone because its just so dang fun! :D

 

Super Mario Galaxy, No More heroes, Metroid Prime 3, Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess and maaaaybe Super Smash Brothers Brawl.

Yeah, if you don't have strong muscles in your legs to begin with, I could see how it'd mess them up.

 

Tatsunoko vs. Capcom. It's still unknown if it'll be released overseas, so perhaps you should play the games previously recommended first and if it doesn't get released by the time you finish them all, import it.

I think any wii owner should have at least one, if not more of these games even if i have some issues with Twilght Princess. I guess I'd have to ask what more of your gaming interests are to be able to help you out a bit better.

Yes.Get LOS Twilight Princess and Super Smash Bros. Brawl for sure.I had those since I got my Wii.And I recommend Mario Kart Wii.It's quite fun.And try Call Of Duty 3.That game is awsome.
