Kingdom Hearts II Anti Form

Someone said there was a connection between Sora and the Anti Form. Is there?

 

I believe the Secret Report established a link between Sora and Anti-Form, but I can't remember what...probably a remnant of his time as a Heartless. It could be developed in later games, so Sora would at last have something like a dark side.

 

i think the anti form is a sort of flashback to the time he was turned in a heartless or its a copie of the sora in neverland in KH1 but one thing is sure anti form is cool

 

I do belive that there was an inteview WAY WAY Back (not the secret reports) That preifly touched on Antiform. They said that storyline wise yes it was related to soras time as a heartless.

 

Well, I'm not really sure, I guess it's kinda a flashback from his encounter with the Anti Form or something. I would suppose there would be a connection, besides, it is Sora, just the darkest part of him released I guess. My opinion on why they made it a Drive Form is that, well, for one, it's pretty awesome! Secondly, it's kind of a "catch" to being able to become stronger in a Drive Form, you could successfully change, or, you could become the Anti Form and have negative abilities. Sort of a "to good to be true" thing.

 

I was hoping the three fairies would warn Sora about this "feature."

 

Maybe they neglected to mention that, so not to freak him out. But I think that its a piece of the darkness in him that gets released everynow and then.

 

Maybe if Sora goes Riku on us, the Anti-form will turn into something cool.

 

I think that they just put it there. As a extra thing... not compliantly making sense... thats why there was no story or movies for it...

 

If Sora went Riku on eveyone the Kingdom Hearts worlds would be in trouble. But yeah I bet then his anti form would be sweet looking.

 

If he went Riku, he'd be A LOT more cooler. I'm starting to think about Hollow Ichigo on this one.

 

Basically the Anti-form is born from when Sora's heart is too close to the darkness, and is unable to control the overflowing power that comes from Driving, as said in the Secret Report.

 

Wonder if handling the Way of the Dawn changed that feature?

 

You can probably also look at Anti-Form as an anti-existence of the drive forms. Darkness IS half of everything (Existing anyway) so in order to balance the "light" of Sora's other forms, Anti-Form exists as their dark side.

It might also serve as a kind reminder to Sora not to abuse this power : )

 

You make a really valid point and I agree with what you say.

 

I think its the darkness in his heart reforming, since he was once a heartless. I can imagine becoming a heartless and going back would leave quite a bit of darkness in your heart.

Plus, it could be that since Sora is technically still heartless Sora since Roxas hasn't joined back with him yet. If we ever get to play as Sora in a future game, I bet Anti-Form will be mysteriously absent....

 

That, or something a bit more controllable.

 

Well I'm not sure it will completely dissappear. I don't think Roxas coming back is going to destroy the darkness in him for good. I just think it will be harded to attain anti-form.

 

Maybe it could become a keyblade.

That theory about sora still being a heartless is probably true, but it doesn't explain why sora still enters anti-form after he joins up with roxas....besides, am I the only one that has gone back to the wardrobw in yen sids tower? Talk to the tall and skinny mirror with cloth over it, it will give you your answer....
