Kingdom Hearts II anti-form <3

anti-form is one of my favorite forms but there 2 (acording to me) "problems" I whenever sora leaves a room anti-form is disabled and we dont get see cutscenes with sora in anti-form like in other forms (eexept card and dice form, but thats understandable since these are not humanoid forms) shoulden´t we be able to leave rooms with anti or see cutscenes with anti?!?!?!?​

 

In KH2, Anti-Form was always a sort of "consequence" for abusing the Drive Forms.

You can't manually revert out of it, and it completely depletes your Drive Gauge. That being said, I think we aren't able to see it in cutscenes or leave rooms with it just because it's supposed to be a negative consequence to abusing Drive Forms. Of course, that's just my opinion on why we can't. xD

 

Going on with what Plums said, Anti-Form is supposed to be a consequence of Sora's time as a Heartless and (some think) a side effect of Vanitas. However, it has no story purpose and is used as a gameplay mechanic. I think if Donald or Leon or somebody saw Sora in it, there would be a "Wtf, u <3less?" moment and Square probably didn't want to really dwell on that.

 

1st of all: ploo, you are wrong we cant revert when there are enemies we can revert but we must defeet all the enemies

2nd of all: its not just a game consequence it has a meaning story wise-

and so we shouldent we see it in the videos!?

ohh okay, i understand, but you gotta admit a cutscene with anti would be pretty cool.

 

Yes, like Ploo-Hems said, it's a consequence of abusing drive forms.

However, it's not really a consequence, but more of a random thing. If I recall correctly, there are some hidden points that build up when going into Valor, Wisdom, Master, or Final that count towards when Sora will go into Anti-Form.

If you use them alot in a battle you turn anti form,I don't re-call there being an option about turning anti-form.
But like Amaury said,Its not a consequence,more like a consequence much more a random thing.

I don't think you can get anti-From unless you have Final Form,too.
I killed Xigbar with Anti-From xD

 

For every successful Drive you make, you get +1 Anti Points.
In boss battles, I believe these are multiplied by five
while in boss battles against Organization members it is multiplied by 10.

And you can get Anti without Final Form,
but Final Form also reduces the Anti-Points by 10 each time you use it,
so you can have a pretty much 0 % chance of going Anti.

 

Anti- form is what happens to you if you use the drive forms too much and you're stuck in that form for awhile. But at least anti- form is a fast runner.

 

i think anti-form is pretty cool cause sora runs fast and if ur a high level u wont die 2 easy and plus hes fast at attacking

 

He's kinda cool but whenever I turn into him it's ALWAYS detrimental to me in the end.

 

It's negative in those aspects, but i've found it to be faster than most drive forms, and it deals more damage. A downside to it is it's alot lower on defence though.
