This is a short video I made when I was slightly depressed. I tried a couple new things in it but nothing big. Anyways CnC please.

Good work! I think things you should look at are your transitions, which are a little cheesy at the moment. The basics - Fade to Black/White, straight cut, and cross-dissolve are standards for a reason - they look professional and are smooth. Also, try and get a consistent size with your clips, which is easier said than done when getting things from the net, but it'll make the video look more cohesive and better put together. An easy way to do this is to get your clips from one source, rather than picking this clip from KHV and the next from KH13 or KHU.

The only other thing is you are timing your transitions to the vocals rather than the music behind it, which means you are missing great opportunities for synching - look at the transition at the 1 minute mark, it would've had a much bigger impact if that KH2 clip came in on a hard straight cut at around 0:58. The snare drum is your best friend in AMVs.

    Hope that helps!

I didn't want to do too hard of a cut there since for me this was a chance to edit out my feelings and I wanted a calmer transition from one to the other instead. Normally I try to do some straight cuts at some points but I didn't feel like that was with the mood of the song. And by the way I got all my scenes from this site. There was no jumping around of sites to get them and I prefer to stick with one source even if the sizes are a bit different.
