I recommend searching for some tutorials via deviantart( not the best place but it works haha) if you are serious about graphics design at all. It'll help you get to know your program more, as well as teach you some basic techniques.
well that maybe a little dificult for me seeing that I'm more of a non verbal learner, I learn better by listening more then I do by reading.:/
Ok...well I love that sig! But one thing I do have to say,its kinda blurry,and hard to focus on...and its also pretty confusing(all the colous merged etc) But I love it anyway :D
Thanks Daxa I'm happy you like it,^ ^ and if I watch a video on youtube on how to make a sig again I'll follow along with the vid while making the sig at the same time so I can make a better sig next time that's not blurry and not hard to focus on.^ ^
I would try to blend the render more into the picture, same with the text. But all you need is some practice and you'll get it :) That's what I do ;) If you look at my sig in progress, http://www.kh-vids.net/showthread.php?109620-Need-some-pointers! you see what I mean, not as much with Kairi, but with Sora. You see it's more blended into the background. (It's not that well made, but you get the point though.)
Ah jeez. Well yeah there are some videos out there on, like you said, youtube... but those people are usually beginners as well haha. Maybe you could just try to recreate effects you see in tags... but that would take vast knowledge of your program :x Well, you could at least try to get some basics down by reading a few tutorials, then go from there. Even if you don't retain everything, you'll have a place to start ^^ Sorry, I'm not much help in these cases :(
