Kingdom Hearts II Another Level to Kairi/Namine

Ok, this is my first post ever on here so pleaassseee bear with me. This question has been bothering me for ages and I'll be clear and say that I'm only halfway through Kingdom Hearts, have finished Sora's CoM, and watched every cutscene for KHII.

Alright. In CoM, at one point, Namine is called a 'witch.' (I don't know by whom, maybe Axel or Marluxia) My question is, if Namine has this weird power that she does - fooling with Sora's memories - is Kairi supposed to have a weird power also?

Or is it just that Namine had a strong enough connection to Sora's - and at one point, Riku's - hearts to make them see illusions and mess with Sora's memories. Namine can even open the portals of darkness, can she not?

This is really very confusing to me, because I always feel that since Kairi is the seventh princess she should have some magical property. I need someone with a firm grasp on Kairi/Namine to help me out here.

 

I don't have a firm grasp on the Kairi and Namine but my guess is that ok first off Namine wasn't born like other nobodies.Also my guess is that since Kairi is a princess meaning she has a pure heart so probably thats why Namine is a "witch" because Kairi has a pure heart and she is a princess.This is my guess.

It's pretty simple. Most higher-level Nobodies are gifted with a special ability based on their personality or other aspect of their former heart.

Namine in this case was connected to Sora's heart when Kairi's heart inside him. Since Kairi had a connection with Sora, Namine in turn had a connection to Sora's heart. Thus, Namine came with the ability to manipulate Sora's Chain of Memories.

 

Kairi has a lot of abilities that are untapped with light energy. She opened a portal from Darkness to light, kind of what I call a 'Light Doorway' which let Riku and Sora get home. She also connected to Sora when he was a Shadow and transformed him back to normal. Being a light being, she also could use the keyblade that Riku gave her. Kairi's powers are largely untapped but she seems to be the pure white mage sort of character with a lot of potential. Namine was pretty powerful herself but it comes from Kairi in the end.
