That's a nice discovery, but before going to the planet, we must first consider the things you stated before. It's a very difficult mission, and unless we can transport from one place to another (:D), we won't be able to get there any time now.

If there IS intelligent life there, I hope to whatever God may exist that they don't have rayguns (and a deep hatred for other intelligent races, because then close encounters would really suck).

And what do you mean, apocalypse theories? I'm not talking about anything religious. The truth is, with all this technological advancement, someone will try something stupid. Probably America. They like being stupid the most. And what they do will have massive consequences.

 

The word apocalypse usually shows up in religion but it’s simply the end of the world. And even if there was constant nuclear warfare I don’t the world will end that soon. But w/e.
