Alright Zelda is a good series but for Christ sake they made another. One game: ya' awesome game awaiting more Two games: Great better then the original Three games: Good game but same story line Four games: This bores me But look at all of the games Adventure of Link A Link to the Past Link's Awakening Ocarina of Time Majora's Mask Oracle of Seasons Oracle of Ages The Wind Waker The Minish Cap Twilight Princess Phantom Hourglass And now Spirit Tracks I mean seriously how many games can you make out of the idea that Some 15 year old kid saves a princess then gets laid. It's as bad as Mario with Princess Peach but at least mario mixes it up a little. Well that ends my rant In short Stop makng Zelda games It's not fun anymore T_T
Sonic and Mario are incredibly offended. As is Pokemon. Who gives a damn if they keep making games? All long as their good, nothing wrong with it.
i agree the story line is the same for hour glass to spirit tracks but why make another one and you know they are going to make yet one more
...Have you actually played any of the newer games? Twilight Princess was excellent, as were Wind Waker and Phantom Hourglass. Plus Spirit Tracks has gotten good reviews so far and has been called (by the reviewers) possibly one of the best games in the series. HEY GUESS WHAT. WE CAN ACTUALLY PLAY AS ZELDA THIS TIME. NO CDI. Hell, Pokemon has a more repetitive storyline. And yet it's well into it's fourth set of games, with re-releases of the older ones coming out. Don't complain if a good series is added to successfully.
I personally like playing Zelda so I dont mind if they keep on making more. You also do know that all of the games are connected in many ways but they are just set in different times from each other. Like I bet most people dont even know that Ocarina of Time is the prequel to the whole entire series.
derp each zelda game is compeltely different from the last one in terms of design, story, and new gameplay. The best part is, they don't suck.
The Zelda games get better every time, they've never bored me. Windwaker was my number one fave. :3 I hope they make more.
It's true. New characters, new assistants, new enemies, new look, new tools and weapons, new puzzles, I mean apart from the fact the characters and location are fairly similar, what's so bad about using the same familiar characters and places? Not to mention each time you explore them they are always different.
weren't people on this site complaining about yet ANOTHER FF7 game? it's pretty much the same thing. in fact it's not even just this website, it's a lot of other websites. i don't get why people see another FF7 game and go "omg, another one?" but when they see mario or zelda, they say "this looks cool". i personally don't mind adding new sequels to a game series as long as the sequel itself is good.
I kinda agree with this. People complain about something FF then others tend to tag on with the hate but when a new Zelda comes out we all have to bend over and love it without an ounce of prejudice? I think it only really matters whether the game is good or not, I've never played Zelda for longer than an hour (seriously, I've only ever played an hour of Zelda) and therefore have no opinion on it and probably won't buy it while if a new FFVII sequel, prequel or spinoff came out I'd probably go get that since it's something I know of and enjoy. Honestly, your all such fanboys/girls. But yeah, saying things like "Stop making Zelda games" isn't the right attitude either. Zelda is popular so the games won't stop because people find them fun. Personal opinions don't matter when the company still has buyers and gains a profit. That's my two pence, cause cents aren't in my currency
People hate on FF because the only difference between each game is the story and a new gimmick. Each one plays exactly the same as the other and the only major change is the leveling system or how you distribute your skills/points. Plus each game amounts to the same tired formula of DERP LEVEL UP LEVEL UP FIGHT BOSS DIE GRIND GRIND GRIND FIGHT BOSS WIN GO LEVEL UP SOME MORE, with some cutscenes thrown in every so often. Each new Mario or Zelda game includes a new story, new challenges, actual new gameplay additions, and new ways to play the game. Mario is the same game? It sure seems different since they switched to 3D and then in Sunshine they added sidequests and the nozzle completely changing the way you played the game and then in Galaxy they overhauled the entire game and changed everything.
Let them keep making games. Just because you aren't enthused about it doesn't mean they have to stop. Also, I'm glad they keep making those games. Just like they do in Mega Man, Pokemon and Mario. Don't lie, you know that when you love a series enough it won't matter the story, just the new gaming experience and the story being retold in that new experience. This x 100,000,000,000,000.
It doesn't matter how many games there are in a series. As long as they're good/enjoyable. Otherwise, big waste of money.
