Birth by Sleep Another connection between Sora and Ven

It's probably nothing but when Sora fights Xemnas using both his keyblade and Way to Dawn, he holds Way to Dawn how Ven holds his keyblade.





Oh! And Ven held Way to Dawn in the Secret Ending of Kingdom Hearts II. Like I said, probably means nothing.

 

I think the secret ending is non-canon, but what do we know. Nomura likes to toy with our minds. He'll probably end up showing them sometime in the game.

 

Ven does hold his keyblade backwards, so you are correct on that part. And yes he does pick up W2TD.

I believe we have our connection... ish.

 

Nomura himself said "The Gathering" scene was non-canon, as in, it was a concept video.
The "Birth By Sleep" is canon though, just armor-less.

 

It's not really entirely non-canon. At least, the field of Keyblades isn't. http://www.square-enix.co.jp/kingdom/bbs/ has a preview vid that shows Ven with Xehanort's apprentice in that area.
