They need to put back Rurouni Kenshi, Tenshi Muyo, Inuyasha in it's original time slot, and they should so air D-Gray Man and Katekyo Hitman.

Hamtaro should totally be at the top of that list, the uncut version.

I remember when I was little, watching the first few seasons of pokemon when they came out. Dragon Ball was also one of my favorites. Back when I liked Cartoon network. They've gone downhill every since, it pains me to look at some of the shows they play on there now.

Even the shows that weren't anime used to be good, it's pathetic what they put out there now.

Only good shows on cartoon network that don't always suck:
    Adventure Time and Regular Show.

Sorry, but how can that be labeled as entertainment? It actually frightens me.

I wish they'd play Death Note on Cartoon Network, sadly the chances of that happening are near to impossible- it's really not for kids. I don't really watch Cartoon Network but I don't really want any of these animes (actually, maybe Pokemon) on Cartoon Network as that usually means taking a lot of good parts out to make it acceptable for day time television. Also, I'm quite content with animes being separate to Cartoon Network.

Maybe I'm just biased because our Cartoon Network had no (or at least not according to my memory) anime, but in my opinion anime just shouldn't be on Cartoon Network in general. I'm not completely sure why, but I just have it in my mind that Cartoon Network should have western animation. I always liked it better when anime had their own little channels were they could have anime for all audiences, ones for children and ones for adults. A sort of weeaboo haven if you'd like :3

    This would be ideal.
I'd like it if they did this.

Or for someone like me who lives in the UK
They could bring back Toonami which did feature at least some anime anyway... :/
YES! That's right! We get no Toonami!

I really wish Toonami would come back but it's dead! And besides, I have DirecTV, so every Sunday I wake up early and turn to CNw and watch the anime on Adult Swim there. Also, there is a series you like and have the money, get the entire series. Of course, I didn't know that about Devil May Cry, the Animated Series, but it's good in a interesting way.

But guess what I heard? They offered to Cartoon Network to show Dragon Ball Z Kai Which on CN would be the original with better picture and they DECLINED! WTF? The original was ok and the only reason people say it sucks is cuz on Nicktoons and Toonzai they edit out all the Badassness. Now we know.

Thank You Cartoon Network. Because of you, my favorite show from when I was 5 is horribly not violent anymore. SCREW YOU!

I agree with most of the shows in the OP's list.

I also think Digimon would be a nice addition to the list.

Bolding the ones I think would be alright. FMA/Brotherhood and especially Death Note deal with more mature concepts than the others.

    i.e Light being a sociopath
killing off people he deems evil, the question of the role of God within the world, etc.

And FMA is just incredibly deep, dealing with the implications of immortality, the knit and grit of Alchemy, genocide of an entire culture of people, life beyond death, etc.

Sure, kids may like the action of those shows, but that doesn't mean they are going to understand the subtexts and references within the shows that the creators meant them to have. Just my two cents.

Very true Ploohems. What I basically picture as a better Cartoon Network would be:

At around 6:30 Pm show the Edited Daytime Versions of DB, DBZ and DBGT
at 8:00 Naruto and Naruto Shippuden
at 9:000 a whole hour of Pokemon

    On Saturdays:

At 11:30 PM DB,DBZ, and DBGT Uncut
    At 1:00 am Bleach
At 1:30 Naruto and Naruto Shipudden
    At 2:30 FMA: Brotherhood

Actually... I'm glad Cartoon Network doesn't have Naruto anymore, it's more of a Disney show if you ask me. (overrated)

It would be nice to see some anime like Angel Beats or Madoka but it won't happen. Even Adult Swim flat out told us that "hey blame the ratings, that's why you only get anime on Saturdays now". There just aren't enough people liking anime (or watching it on TV I should say) for them to keep it. Toonami being gone is also another example, CN choose the route of trying live action shows and keeping a few newer series going. It's as if they are trying to copy Nickelodeon at this point.

Guess you'll just have to use Netflix if you have to watch your english dubs.

I do miss the Funimation DBZ though.

Ocean Dub DBZ Wasnt bad either though. I just hated that they kept Changing Goku's Voice.

Really? Blame the Ratings? Wow... we need to do something. I remember in 2008 DBZ Was on every saturday at 11 PM Mountain time and it made it to the cell saga

Well, I'd like to see Hellsing. But it has like, really really really mature concepts. It's not a show that could be seen on Network I think. Well, the Anime could. Not so much for OVA.

I say they should make a channel devoted just for Anime.

y'now, they're still showing bleach, Death Note, and stuff on Adult Swim. It might only be once a week, but Bleach and FMA: Brotherhood is still new. And here it shows at 9pm. Although I still record it. I really want something like Gundam, Inuyasha, One piece, or something else like that on. Than I don't have to keep watching on the computer

Well I suppose all we get for now is the computer. Makes me :(

We don't even have a channel devoted to games anymore.
