Anime fans hate you when...

Decided to post a brother topic at all another forum. These are the basic things to say to piss off immature fans of modern anime

Anime fans will hate you when you say...

-Dragon Ball Z is much better than most modern-day anime

-Bleach is better than Naruto

-You prefer the English dub over the Japanese fansubs

-When you express your honest opinion on a certain anime, no matter how nicely you put it

-When you tell someone that Obito is NOT Tobi

-When you call a certain anime character emo.

-When you note the fact that anime is gettin' unoriginal nowadays

Just use your imagination. You know its out there. XD Using any of these will result in a colorful response to your opinion/fact

 

i have a friend who i like to p*ss off for saying something. i say marluxia is gay, and zexion is emo. there's this gay kid in our algerbra class that everyone knows. i said this once "okay, marluxia is just very in touch with his feminine side." she says "yeah." then i say "who else is very in touch with his feminine side?" then the gay guy comes in.

...you start playing Go/Tennis/Basketball and turn around saying it's nothing like the actual show.

...you ramble about every possible pairing in that anime.

 

...when you wont shut up about the latest Death Note on Adult Swim.

 

a fan hates you when you show up at their house with a picture of their fave character... sure they'll be confused but pleased until ... YOU BRING OUT THE LIGHTER!!

 

...You claim to be an anime fan, and are only obsessed with the same ONE anime and havent taken the time to check out more then two.

 

Ah yes, figured out another one:

-There some better things out there than anime, like.... real sex. XD

 

... you say Sasuke's a jerk.
DO NOT SAY THAT, WHATEVER YOU DO. YOUR LIFE WILL BE IN JEOPARDY.

 

-you mention how shallow most, if not all, mainstream anime characters are (looking at you, Sakura)

 

When you say that the game of an anime is better than the anime. I mean, how the hell is that even possible?

 

It's easy to piss off an anime fan by doing two things at least:

1. Saying that anime sucks bluntly.
2. Anime isn't the best/most important thing in the world.

Gets 'em everytime.

 

...when you bring up the intentional pairing of an anime and de-rail their little mix-matching crusades.

...you tell them that no, Kagome will never kill Kikyo no matter how many times you say she should.

... you make fun of the overly 'innocent' anime girls.

...their eyes become dark from staying up half the night to watch their Adult Swim, when they've seen the episodes before, and you "accidently" mention what episodes your DVR or TIVO recorded where they can hear you. ("I recorded Inuyasha, Death Note, Code Geass. I went to bed at nine, too! *innocence*")

i tell a kid who has autism that death note is not as good a bleach and bleach is a whole lot better than naruto japanese subs dont help and too many people are emo

Well now that just pisses any fan of anything off.

Also, being on the board of your School's Anime club and Declaring Naruto as Taboo. I think I want to do that next year.

 

Honest anime fans would never hate this stuff. This examples actually some of the best anime fans out there, but that's beside the point of the whole topic.
( I like Bleach, it's alright, but Naruto is replusive. Such a terrible anime. )

I always get pissed off when everyone talks about Naruto and nothing else.
They have no originality or variation in their anime choices, and it pisses me off when they title themselves anime fans, when they've only seen one or three animes. Or better yet, most of them have only read about one manga.
Get real.

Here's the story behind what started this agitation, just so you know:

Going to Anime North 2007, now, I noticed as I went beyond the line due to my VIP pass, that lots of people began to cosplay as Naruto characters. Since I was replused by Naruto, I didn't bother to ask them where they got their cosplay costumes, I could care less, to be honest. Well, me, I was cosplaying as Ritsuka in his fetish clothing costume in a picture you might find on Photobucket here and there.

Nobody but a giant group of fangirls knew who I was cosplaying as. It was disappointing. And then, when I asked a bunch of people in a group of what animes they liked, about ten people of those fifty only said Naruto. As for the others, giving out plentiful animes titles that were actually worth watching. Afterwards, I talked to these ten people after the second day at AN. I asked them, "Why have you only watched Naruto? Don't you realize there is more to anime as there is?" The ten responded the same every time, "Well, there's nothing better than Naruto."

God, I felt like I wanted to punch them all in the face. And then, they call themselves anime fans behind my back. I could overhear since they were over at our dA table for prints an such. Jeez. I couldn't even believe I was getting more pissed than I needed to be.

Like YGO Abridged, that was a terrible attempt for comedy, honestly.
