Anime Conventions

I was wondering if anyone has been to an anime convention before, or anything similar to it. I will be attending one for the first time in May (11th to the 13th), AnimeCentral in Rosemont, IL.

I'll try to be there for 2 days (Friday and Saturday). I really want to make it there Friday night because of the musical guests...

I went to Anime North 2006 as AC Cloud. Didn't die my hair blonde though... so... whatever, people recognized my outfit anyway. Kind of hard miss an AC Cloud.

I saw some Step-Mania tourneys, Smash Bros tourneys, crap load of anime and manga...

Was lots of fun.

No I've never been to one because were I live I don't really think they even care about anime.I HATE EDMONTON!!!

 

whoot, Have fun! I went to the Anime Expo in Anahiem, CA. I had fun there. I didn't cosplay, but I wish I did. All I did was wear my pokemon hat. xD

 

There's this con that hits where I live every year, I've been attending it for the past 7 years xDDD ((Comic Con))

adn there's a one I always wanted to go to Anime Expo, so this year will be my frist time going to AX - I'm cosplaying for the first time as well as Roxas ^^

 

I go to comic con. Sometimes I'll go with my friends to gen con.

 

I'm goig to JACON this year I'll be going as Saskue.

I want to go to a Anime Con so bad, they look like so much fun.

I'm going to A-kon in July or June in Dallas, Texas as either Miku, from Fatal Frame, Mafuyu from Fatal Frame, OR Edgar from Pandect. Most likely edgar, it'd be easiest. *pokes third sig* That's him ;3

If i don't go to A-kon, I'm going to one in November, same place :/

 

I just got back from a con this past weekend, I was at Anime Boston. It was real blast, and it's my third con, but my first ever cosplay. I went as Axel this year. i have some pics running around if anyone wants to see. I kept getting tackled by everyone, including another Axel.

You will have fun there, I guarantee it.

 

I wanted to go to Momo Con, but I didn't get to go....the good thing is, there's AWA (Anime Weekend Atlanta) in October, so...I guess I'll get my Organization cloak out again. Woot! It'll be my second time at that one...but I'll be going as Zexion this time!

 

I think Anime Conventions are full of creepy people.

Yeah, they are pretty creepy. Last year, there were these creepy uhhh...not straight people hitting on me. Not cool. Not cool at all.

 

I've been to Fanime 2005 and 2006. I kissed women there~ xD
I've also been to JTAF 2004-2006~

 

I'll be going to Anime Expo this year(it's like, 5 ****ing miles away from my house anyway). I'm not into the whole cosplaying thing, or anime thing. I just think it'd be fun to check out all the weirdos.

I'd not recommend it. They might, I dunno, do things to you. I've had my experiences.

 

Aww man. I totally wanted to go to AX2007, but I'm broke. I promised a friend I'd go next year though.

 

Anime Conventions? Those have way too many weird people. Plus they'll have people who dress up as anime characters!!!!
