Jynx sat down on an emty chair. "yeah, that. What is it exactly?"

 

"It's the absolute power. Each Geass is supposed to be different, but for circumstances beyond my control....you have the Geass that will allow you to control the actions of others by making eye contact with them. You have to say the command clearly and verbally for it to work."

 

"Don't panic," She said softly. "It's a bit different from the transformation. This actually leaves marks. But it just looks bad. They really... don't hurt..." She said, the last part being a lie that she thought might be heard in her voice. She looked down at her hands, feeling bad about keeping it from him.

 

"If they don't hurt, then why do I hear the pain in your voice?" he asked. "I don't like this at all."

 

Jynx nodded, a bit startled by this news, "Wow, that's quite... quite a trate. Good thing I don't manipulate people huh?" she laughed, nervously.

 

"Than what do you plan to do with your Geass?" CC said as she offered Jynx as slice of pizza.

 

"Thanks." Jynx smiled, taking the slice. "Well I mean I guess I'll use it as I need it. Maybe I'll learn to be manipulative... but probably not. How do you think I should use it? Just wondering." she took a bite of the pizza.

 

"The last person i gave Geass too...." CC said as she ate another slice of pizza "He used it to try and crush the Holy Empire of Britannia, and to create a world where his sister could live peacefully."

 

Jynx stared at CC for a moment, surprised. Then she seemed to come back to reality. "Woah! Well I know I won't be doing anything like that. not only do I not want to crush anyone, I don't have anyone to give a 'peaceful' world to. So... no worries there."

 

"This period is ending soon..." CC said "We should be getting ready to go"

 

Jynx stood up, "Yeah, although i think it's lunch now." she smiled. "I like that schedule don't you? Well thanks for explaining this to me, and thank you for it to begin with."

 

Leah looked down. "I'm a horrible liar, I guess..." She said. "Still, I don't want you worrying about this... Really, it's all right..." She tried to hide the fear in her voice. I just can't tell him everything... Now matter how hard I try... I know he won't like it if I tell him that these burn marks weren't suppossed to happen... I don't know what they mean... She thought.

 

"You know you can trust me with anything, right?" he asked, feeling like she was still hiding something.

 

"I know..." Leah whispered and gently touched his cheek. "I just... hate to see you upset..."

 

"I'll be more upset if I don't know what's going on." he said.

 

"..." Leah didn't say anything for a moment before sighing. "Alright..." She said softly. "These marks... They're not normal... They shouldn't be there... And that's not a good sign..." She paused, staring at her hands. "... I-I'm... scared..." She admitted.

 

"So am I." he said.

 

Leah winced and gently took his hand, holding it against her cheek. She didn't say anything as she stared into his eyes. She didn't know what would happen next...

 

He looked deep into her eyes as well.

 

Leah stared into his eyes a moment longer before she couldn't take it, anymore. She squeezed his hand tighter and began to cry.
