I read the Nostalgia Critic thread and it got me to make this thread. Does anyone watch AVGN? I love his videos like Mario is Missing and Superman 64. I also love his Godzillathon since I'm a huge Huge Godzilla fan.

CD-I, btw... He is good, I think he slides way too far sometimes. And his humor is a lot more crude than I like sometimes. I loved the Castlevania series dedication he did. That was amazing and got me into the series. Also the most recent Legend of Zelda II was an excellent video. Especially the ending. I'm waiting impatiently for the 100th video, I hope it's E.T.
I prefer his older videos. I still watch his videos when I can. These days it seems he takes his jokes way to far, although my favorite out of the new ones is the re-do of his first review.
He's pretty funny. I've seen most of his videos, but I liked the 'Die Hard' review most. His lines get really boring/repetitive after a while so eh.
Lol I remember when I first saw those videos it was hilarious XD and that too would be my favorite quote haha.
I watched a few of his vids, I like them. Someone here in France started to make the same kind of vids a while ago, he' s called "Le joueur du grenier" (the attic gamer). Ugh, my friend had me watch a few of his videos before I found Nostalgia Critic. I really did not find him funny. His jokes are bad, and I just don't like his sense of humor.
I guess that's why you like Nostalgia Critic then, neither of you understand any kind of satire (*cough*hisreviewofLastActionHero*cough*) Anyway, I rather enjoy the Angry Video Game Nerd, he used to be much more awesome though, but that's just how it is when you are the same character for such a long time, especially one which has such little depth. I must admit though, there was a time where his reviews had started going really dry, but after he started taking his time with each review again they turned out great. They are educational, the humour is great and he's just an entertaining guy to watch. I'm looking forward to the film. James Rolfe is a pretty interesting guy too, but that's for another topic I suppose.
He's is an intresting guy. I like him cause he studies on Video Games and explians why it's bad unlike other video game reviewers that I've seen.
I actually don't mind him. He's funny sometimes and other times he can be a bit annoying. His Gauntlet and Zelda game review still makes me laugh. xD
