Angels of the Mist

She kissed his cheek.
"Don't be," she said blushing.

 

"Am I really moving too fast?" he asked.

 

She nodded.
"Yes. We just met within this hour and you already tried to kiss me," she said.

 

"I'm really sorry, this is a first for me."

 

"It's your first time being around a girl werewolf?" she asked, her ears dropping. Her tail sat up into her lap.

 

"First time being in love." he said.

 

She sighed.
"I've never been in love," she said.

 

"So I guess that means you don't love me." he said, sighing.

 

She felt guilty.
"I'm sorry, but I don't know. I don't know what love would feel like," she said.

 

"It's alright, I guess." he said, a little upset.

 

She frowned and her eyes filled up with tears. She didn't want him to see her cry, so she wiped her eyes.
"I'm very sorry," she said.

 

Heiro awoke with a jump start, immediantly feeling some of his old bones crack... "so... you kept me... but you'll..." tears formed in his eyes as he remembered the house that was burnt down while the family was inside for helping him. they sat in silence a moment, when he noticed something about his wings, he reached to his back (the source of his pain), and discovered that when he had moved hiw wings yesterday he had ripped a bone out. he knew it wouldn't work completly but he had to try... "Jake... my wings... please... damn it" Heiro faints from the blood lose...

 

jake walked over to heiro and healed his wings. he plucked another one of his feathers. "heiro. wake up. what happend to make your wings black." he asked.

 

"It's okay." he said. "I expected too much."

 

"i think they adapted to the curses that were put on them to strengthen themselves. though i still can't fly, they are definetly becoming stronger... hey, are you sure you want to help me?" He answered and asked patiently.

 

She still frowned. Her ears stayed down in a low position and her eyes looked sad. She hugged her big fluffy tail and sighed.

 

"yea" he said." i might be able to help u fly again" he said

 

Heiro laughed... the prospect of flying again, it was so pitiful he had to laugh... "i doubt it... these curses and wounds were put n them over 400 years ago, they aren't healing any time soon... though feel free to try..." Heiro doubted he could do it but there was a small chance...

 

jake took one of Heiro feathers. "give me some time" he said and he started putting spells on it

 

He hugged her and said "It's okay. It's not your fault."
