[/COLOR]The Seraphim hesitated and met Diane's eyes with her own. "That yet remains to be seen, young Diane. The Courts simply do not allow any simple soul under their wings. Each of us is looking for something in you all." She bent her head to Schuyler, her wings brushing against her cheek, "My name is Kallai. Keep this name secret and quietly to yourself. For a Seraph's name is more valuable than her life."

Kiel stared at it for a long moment, "It's nothing special....so why does it bother me? Either way, Tori...I don't want you mad at me."

Ren's yellow eyes narrowed and he moved quickly to stand beside her. Gripping her wrist in his hand, he turned Kaila around to face him, "You do not dismiss me as easily as you will your students, Kaila." He squeezed her wrist until his knuckles were white. "Until the time has come when I am fully recovered, YOU will take on the night shift along with Sanya." Releasing her, Ren slammed the golden pocket watch down on her desk and limped out of the room.

 

schuyler was brought back to reality when diane had caught up and asked to join as well. she wasn't a bad person and didn't like to think ill of anyone, but schuyler a little relieved when kallai denied diane's immediate request. she knew being asked to join the seraphim court was a huge honor, but it didn't seem that honorific if diane could just join without being asked. she looked up at the seraphim.
"i promise, mum's the word."

tori sighed as she stared at the ribbon on her wrist.
"i'm not mad, not at you at least. but...i also can't bring myself to take it off. i feel like it's important somehow. i just don't know."
she dropped her hand down by her side and slowly started walking again.
"you wanna walk to the next class with me?"

kaila stamped her foot and screamed once ren was out the door.
"sanya?! is she even fit to be fighting? plus, i don't even know what is going on!"
she sighed and picked up the pocket watch. it was quite lovely and if it didn't mean something awful was coming, she would be much happier that he gave it to her. hopefully it wouldn't have involved the item being slammed to her desk. kaila looked at her wrist which was now turning a faint purple. he had squeezed it quite hard. it was weird seeing ren like that. kaila was used to him getting angry, but never towards her and to that degree. she was only trying to mask her pain. apparently it had worked.

 

Kallai smiled and touched a finger to her lips, "Good, good. Now...off to class with you. Don't be late. Elena is a valued member of the Summer Court." Her wings disappeared and she pulled up her hood, "Ill see you later."

Kiel tagged along, "Sure, well if it's important to you then....that's just fine. I was only curious. It looks familiar." He shrugged and walked beside her, "Music huh? I sure hope it's entertaining." Sunlight filtered through the windows along the hallway they walked and warmed his skin. Oddly, the door to the music room was decorated with flowers...and vines instead of instruments or music notes. "What a weird school."

 

schuyler nodded and said goodbye. she turned to start walked to music class.
"are you coming diane?"
she looked over her shoulder and farther down the hallway she noticed james watching them.
"it appears that your brother is following us."
schuyler smiled and waved at him before turning back around to head to elena's classroom.

tori stared at the classroom in wonderment. it was nothing like she had expected a music room to be. everything here was so full of intrigue and mystery. she never would have imagined walking into a garden when going to a music classroom. the flowers and vines were everywhere, rather than woodwinds and drums. she spoke without turning her head to look at kiel. her eyes couldn't leave the sight in front of her.
"no kidding."
tori walked slowly into the room.

kaila collapsed in her chair behind the desk. the bruising on her wrist slowly turned a darker shade of purple. she wanted to just disappear, but her third year students would be entering at any moment and she couldn't just leave.

 

Kiel gaped at the consistent growing foilage. A woman wearing a delicate light green dress. Her brown hair was bound up in a bun and green eyes scoured the greenery. The only contrast to her elegant outfit was a harshly bright red ribbon tied loosely around her upper arm. "Oh my...this isn't good. They grow so quickly. I suppose...that means my theory was correct." She clapped her hands delitedly, "This is amazing! Oh...you two must be in my next class. Sorry I'm not exactly coordinated right now." She turned back to the mass of vines and flowers and snapped her fingers, "That's enough now...back to your pots." Reluctantly, the vines crept back into their pots and the flowers lifted from the floor and knitted onto the vines. Once the floor was clear, instruments floated out of cubboards and hovered in place.

 

tori still couldn't help but stare at the plant life as it went back into it's pots.
"this...this is quite interesting."
she watched as the seats unmasked themselves from the vines.
"shall we sit?"

 

Diane had an urge to ignore James."Yes, I'm coming," she said before following them.
"Psh. Fine. Be like that sister dear." said James without much interest.

 

Kallai's wings disappeared as she glanced down the hall in the direction of James and saw the Seraph of the High Court behind him. "Ah! Amittai-kun!!!!" She ran towards him, her arms spread out wide.

Yves sighed as he saw Kallai, "I'm dreaming...I know I am. Nee-san...why must you be so noisy?" his soft voice echoed down the hall to her. Setting his hand on James' shoulder, he lightly shuffled him aside. "Wouldn't want a student to get hurt."

Kiel nodded and took a seat near a large red flower, "This flower...is it from Africa?" Elena clapped her hands, "Oh I'm so happy you noticed! It is! Gabriel brought it back for me when he went last year."

 

tori looked at kiel surprised.
"wow. how did you know that? a bit of a green thumb are you?"
she smiled and chuckled a little.

schuyler walked down the hallway chatting with diane about nothing in particular. telling about her family and friends and asking diane about hers. she was curious to learn more about diane's brother james.

kaila tried to pull herself together as her third year students arrived in the room. it was always nice having the more experienced students. they knew how to do the spells well and were eager to learn more. they also knew what kind of fields they wanted to go into by then. she loved her magical inspired students, especially the ones that were more interested in the water and ice type magic. kaila did her best to keep from picking favorites, even though it was a natural thing among teachers.

Diane kept chatting away with Schuyler. "Well, back home I don't have many friends which is why mom and dad bought me a dog." she said. "Wanna see the instrument I play?" she asked and without waiting for an answer, she pulled out a Sapphire blue Ocarina.

 

Kiel blushed, "Ah...not really. The woman who baby sat me while my mother was away taught me about flowers...she really liked them. And it made my mother happy to come home to see all the colors..."

Elena smiled kindly and ignored their conversation. Fussing about a faultering flower.

 

tori sat down next to kiel and smelt a blue rose that was nearby.
"that's pretty cool."
she smiled as the aroma of the rose imprinted itself in her brain.
"blue roses are my favorite. i can never get enough of them."

schuyler studied the piece as they walked closer to the music room.
"it's beautiful. i'm not really musically inclined. i wish i could play something, but whenever i try things go horribly wrong."
she walked around the corner and saw the doors to the music room.

 

As the rest of the students gathered in her class. Elena mumbled quietly to her plants and sat in the front of the class. "So...we're here to learn about music. Truely my affinity is for nature, but music is a wonderful subject. And...it plays an important part in the history of the Summer Court."

 

schuyler had sat down in a chair a few seats away from tori. she wasn't too thrilled for music class, but once elena started speaking of the summer court, she perked up a litte bit in her seat.

kaila greeted all her third years as they took their seats in the classroom. it was obvious what cliques had formed over the last couple years, because all the students new exactly who they wanted to sit by and which seats would be the best ones in the room.
"good morning class. it's nice to see all your smiling faces again. welcome back to another year of magics class. this should be quite an eventful year."
she put lots emphasis in her words and small fire works exploded in the classroom as she finished talking. all the students cheered enthusiastically.

 

Elena strummed a few notes from a harp that sat close to her, "Since I love a good story, I'll tell you. When the Summer Court was founded they didn't have anything to divide them from the Dark, Winter or High Courts. So, each of the angels involved with the Summer Seraph, observed humans in their daily lives. Each of their observations transmitted back to the Summer Seraph and she wound them together and created song. Now...each of the courts adopted a form of human music, but the Summer Court latched onto classical music first. The High Court adopted hymns and the Winter Court...well, they don't like to share their music with others. The Dark Court...for all the mischief that they cause, despise music. But they're not our problem." she winked and chuckled, "Anywho...do any of you play a form of music?"

 

Diane sat next to Schyuler. She seemed bored but perked up as soon as they mentiound the Summer Court. Diane was interested in this so she listened closely.

A few seats away, James was bored out of his mind. He wanted this to be over with so he could find a poor sucker to bully.

OOC: Not much has happened, music class has just began and the teacher, Elena is apart of the Summer Court. The Summer Court Seraph asked Schyuler (I can't spell) to join her court.
