Sanya flicked Tori's forehead, "You're not focusing. Envision it healing. No more pain...sturdy walking...steady, strong..."

The Book of the Grey lazily turned pages, skimming across love potions, memorizing spells, and other various spells including several more advanced spells written in Latin. "If you prespire too much on my pages...I will turn yellow and I don't like being yellow. I'm the Book of the Grey not the Book of the Yellow. Your elevation in heartrate indicates you're hiding something."

Genesis frowned and followed her out the door behind Penny, leaving Kiel to snatch Giselle from the room and hustle towards the gym where their A.C.T class would be held until the barrier was properly fixed.

Angeal dropped her hand and pulled a small package from his pocket, "Sanya sent me a text...she said she needed a Forget flower for something important. Stupid girl doesn't bother to think about my schedule. And...well, something told me to carry one around and stick close to the states. Not to mention the tibits of things she needs me to do." Angeal winked at her.

 

tori glared at her teacher for flicking her and then closed her eyes again. She imagined it similar to the way[/ kaila had shown her the previous night. She pictured walking on a healthy leg. Imagined it mending before her eyes. She could feel her leg doing something and she winced. Tori opened her eyes to find the pain was hone.
"i think I did it."

kingsley glared at the stupid complaining book. He slammed the cover shut and held it that way. If it cared so much about being yellow then it didn't need to be open so much.
"the only thing I'm hiding is what I can't remember."

giselle followed after everyone rather slowly. She felt useless in this school.

kaila was curious as to what the forget me not could be fore, but figured she'd know soon enough. Angeal had almost brought her back to her original mood.
"i see. Well i'm glad you could be of he to sweet sanya."

 

Sanya stepped back, "Then walk, stand...jump woman!" She waved her hands around before turning a deathly glare on Kingsley, "Careful with that book."

Genesis glanced behind him and stopped, holding out his arm for Giselle, "Giselle...come along. Our next class is for you too."

Angeal gaped playfully at her, "Sweet? Obviously you've only seen her in a classroom and around food. Pop in on her when she's working on something mechanical or fighting...crazy she-devil. I didn't lose a wing to demons, nazi's or Japanese....Sanya was enlisted for the German army for a few months... She attacked me. Ah...young love..." he sighed wistfully as if losing his wing was a pleasant memory.

 

tori hesitantly climbed off of the cot. It was shaky at first, but eventually she got her balance. She stretched out her leg and walked around a bit.
"it didn't hurt like last time. But I guess last time I was a lot worse off. Blinded, broken ribs, wings, lots of cuts and bruises. Damn birds."
Tori's leg seemed to be fine now, thankfully.

giselle looked at genesis's arm and walked passed him. She didn't want to be close to anyone at that moment. It only made her feel uncomfortable.

kaila actually laughed, which surprised herself.
"no no. I assure you I've seen that crazed side of her. She's still typically more sweet than not. Confuses me how she even ended up in the dark court."
They walked through the doors of the infirmary together.
"oh sanya dear, I have a delivery for you."

 

Sanya jerked her head up from Tori's accomplished walking and met Angeal's eyes with a blank stare, "Angeal...so you came in person." Angeal held out the package for her at arms length as if it were a bomb instead of a flower. Snatching it away, Sanya checked it, sniffed it and held it to the light. "Fine...you can leave." Frowning, Angeal took a step forwards, noting the dangerous gleam in her eyes and grabbed her mechanical arm, "You've been trying to fix it again. I told you to call me when it's busted. And not a text. A real call." Sanya huffed and pouted which made Angeal feel evil since she did still look like a ten year old kid. "Why would I call the traitor that abandoned me when I needed him most?" Angeal ignored her and pulled a screwdriver from his pocket.

 

tori studied the new angel in awe.
"are you the one that made the professor's limbs?"
They were quite ingenious and she couldn't help but be impressed.

kaila turned seeing kingsley on the cot. Her eyes lit up and she had a huge smile on her face dispite what happened.
"kingsley! Where have you been? Class has been so quiet without you."
She noticed the awkward looks he and tori were giving her and her eyes narrowed on sanya.
"what did you tell them?"

{ooc: a lot. The school was attacked, genesis and tori got hurt. They found schuyler's brother, in a month kaila will no longer be an angel but it won't really matter because she's supposed to die the next day anyway, penny was used as bait for schuyler to use her magic powers, they all have lots of late homework, and now there's some random angel there to see sanya. Oh, and kiel found out who his father was. If you wanna jump back in than just pretend your characters are walking to the next class with everyone.}

 

Angeal smirked, "Of course. Though it was back in the day and I'm sure the parts are out dated." Sanya flicked from her glaring and a frightened expression filled her eyes, "Oh...um...I...n-not much... I swear I didn't say anything!" Angeal chuckled and she turned and started beating her fists against his chest, "You ruin everything!"

The book of the Grey flopped back open on Kingsley's lap, "I'd appreciate it if you didn't do that again. I told them, Ms. Camponella. Your secrets are no more. Though I sensed the angelic telepathy between Tori and her predesesor."

 

Kaila's eyes turned harsh. Her gazed passed over every one of them. Her muscles grew tense and rigid and she snapped. It was the first time she really reacted to everything.
"sanya, I came to you. One because you had that awful old book and two because I thought I could trust you. everyone has grown aware of what I did for that evil monster, but they didn't all know about the sacrifice. I thought it was an understanding. Something to remain between us. I don't go spilling the secrets about you that I know! Would everyone also like to know that I received a visit from michael this morning? That since i've gone against the divine order I will be stripped of my wings and powers the night before the full moon? Huh? Did you know th at yet grey-sama? This is not to leave the infirmary! If I find out any of you tell ren or uriel it will be the last thing you say!"
The doors to the infirmary blasted off of their hinges as she crossed over the threshold. Shw already knew what she was going to tell ren and uriel and if they found out she lied to them, it would be hainous.

tori quickly sat back down on the cot frightened. Her teacher appeared to be more terrifying than any of the monsters she had encountered over the last two years.
"that...was terrifying..."
She gulped nervously and her gazed shifted back and forth between kingsley and sanya.

schuyler stopped walking when she heard a strange sound. She turned in the direction she thought it might have come from.
"did anyone else hear that?"
She stood there confusec until a familiar guy came wandering around the corner.

tristan saw the group of people walking and waved.
"oh hey guys. I have been wandering these hallways for so long. This place is huge. I was supposed to give tori a message, but I guess it can wait."
He shrugged his shoulders and eyed everyone.
"where to?"

 

Sanya collapsed on the floor, tears springing up from her eyes and rolling down her cheeks, "I'm sorry...I'm so sorry...I didn't..mean to..." She bowed her head, letting pale blonde hair fall over her face, "Alright...no more secrets...but...what do I do?"

Angeal frowned down at his little friend and after Kaila. He didn't know enough to get involved and decided he wouldn't. It was obviously a woman problem...despite the sacrifice and aiding the one they called a monster.

Kiel lifted one hand lazily. "Angel Combat Training class. Time to kick some dummy butt. No offense to you, Genesis." He watched Genesis turn and snarl at him. Laughing off his piercing look, Kiel resumed the role of bodyguard of Tori, "You have a message for Tori?"

Penny bounced on the balls of his feet, "Hey! How'd your endevours go? Y'know, with that girl...what was her name? Jone?"

 

kaila stormed back to her classroom. When she got there, she collapsed on the floor in front of the door. Her back leaned against the door while she sobbed. Kaila used her shawl as a blanket and wrapped it around her body.

"yeah. I'm supposed to tell her that i'll join her court. I got another one of those flower things, from the rabbit."
Tristan turned to penny smile.
"jean, her name is jean. and it--"

"why would you ask him that?"
Schuyler elbowed penny in the side. It was a personal and inoppropriate question that she didn't want to hear the answer to.

 

Ren watched Kaila bolt back to her classroom and frowned, I wonder what's happening this time... We never have normal school days... Following after, he paused at the door, uncertain if he should open, knock or just ask.

Kiel sighed, "Rabbit...his name is Usagi. He is our Holy Father's personal messenger. I can go tell Tori for you. If you'll cover for me in class."

Penny gave her an exasperated look and smirked, shuffling over to Tristan and hiding behind him playfully, "I asked cause I was curious. Don't be so harsh girl. Now spit it out man...I wanna know how where ya got. Y'know...second base? Third? Dude...do not tell me you went all the way." Though he was criticizing, he had a big smile on his face.

While Sora did stop and see what Schuyler was talking about, Shane simply just stopped and waited.

 

kaila heard someone walk up to her door and she wiped her eyes with the shawl. she took a minute to compose herself before standing and opening the door. when she saw ren on the other side she felt remorse. kaila didn't want to hurt him yet. it was too soon. she hadn't worked out the mechanics of what she wanted to say to him. no matter how it came out, it wasn't going to be good. in the end, it would probably hurt her worse than him. she stepped outside of her classroom and shut the door behind herself. saying it in the hall would be better.
"hey. i need to talk to you."

tristan pretended to zip his lips and stepped away from penny. he wasn't going to be his shield. if schuyler wanted to hurt him he wasn't going to get in the way of that.
"sorry man. it's a secret. i didn't ask you in front of everyone how far you got with schuyler last night."
he immediately regretted saying anything when he saw how red she turned. she looked both angry and embarrassed.

schuyler was glaring at penny and tristan. she didn't want to hear the details of tristan's personal life. it was called personal for a reason and she most certainly didn't want everyone hearing about her personal life. she had to force herself to stop glaring at penny long enough to look at keil.
"we all get that you want to spend every waking minute with her kiel, it's kind of sad actually. no offense. but is missing class to go give her a message that she can hear later really a good idea? especially after what happened in class yesterday?"
her thoughts flashed back to the scolding he had received from uriel and then the beating he got afterwards.

"what message?"
tori came walking up to everyone. she wanted to be happy about the fact that she wasn't in pain anymore, but everything that happened in the infirmary was still fresh in her mind. since it seemed like sanya was no longer in the shape for examining her healing attributes, she decided to excuse herself and head to class.
"why are we all just standing around? don't we have class to get to?"

 

Ren took in her red eyes and immediately snapped into a protective stance. "What's wrong? Has someone hurt you?"

Penny frowned like a hurt puppy, "Schuyler...." he whined.

Kiel flinched at Schuyler's words. She just had to bring up Uriel's beating again. He spun to see Tori and a smile spread across his face, all hurt forgotten. "Tori! Tristan got word that he's going to be in our Court...um..your Court." The shadow of Uriel's beatings still hung in his mind.

 

kaila hesitantly took his hands in hers.
"no I umm..."
She took a deep breath and swallowed hard.
"i've been thinking and I think we are just fooling ourselves. This...right here...it won't work. We were never supposed to be together. We can't...be together.
Her chest was constricting and it felt almost impossible to swallow.

tori tried to put what went on in the infirmary behind her for the moment. She put on the best smile she could and appeared to be as delighted as possible.
"really? That's cool."
She nudged kiel in the side jokingly.
"why did you correct yourself? It is our court. He chose you to be apart of it as well."
Tori pointed at the ribbon on her wrist to remind him of the matching one he wore on his arm.

schuyler stopped glaring and instead just started walking again to class.
"are you guys coming?"
She was still mad at him, but was to tired to feel upset anymore for one morning.

giselle nodded and followed after schuyler quietly.

 

Ren's expression dropped from his face, leaving it blank. "Kaila...tell me this is some sort of joke you devised to get back at me for all those years of not paying you attention. I...I wasn't over Yuukki then... I can move on now...I want to move on. Tell me this is a joke. Don't..." he couldn't finish his sentence as his throat closed with pain and his heart threatened to shatter.

Kiel stared blankly at the floor, Uriel's wrath still fresh in his mind and her searing whip still stinging his skin. For a short woman she hit like a pro boxer. "Yeah..." he responded slowly to Schuyler and Penny trailed after Tristan, still pestering him to give him a hint.

 

for a moment, she didn't think she could go through with it. Kaila wanted to tell him he was right. That ot was just a cruel joke and she was kidding, but telling him the truth would hurt more. She would rather break both their hearts quick and clean now then watch him suffer over her later.
"it...it's not. Ren, i'm sorry. I would never do something so cruel to you. Love doesn't deserve that. You don't deserve that. I'm sure...i'm sure you'll find someone new in no time. The ladies do love you afterall."
She couldn't do it any longer. Her legs were shaking, about to give weigh and the feeling in her hands was non existant. She let go of his and gave ren a small kiss on the cheek.
"i'm sorry. This was just a bad idea."
Kaila walked back into her classroom and locked the door. She left ren alone in rhe hall heart broken. Her back slid down the cool wood of the door as she hit the floor sobbing quietly.

tori slid her arm around kiel's waist, still wearing her sundress from the night before. She leaned over to whisper in his ear as they walked.
"hey, don't worry about it. I'll protect you."
She smiled at him reassuringly with a touch of humor and tapped her finger on his nose.

 

Ren clutched at his chest as she closed the door on him. His heart hurt just like when Yuukki died...no....it was worse. Kaila was alive and she didn't want him. He'd been played for a fool. Staring numbly at her classroom door, he backed up a few steps, "Kaila...but I...remember your last name now... Don't...don't leave me...." he whispered into the empty hall. Ren wouldn't find someone new, he didn't want someone new. There weren't any other girls like Kaila in the world or in Heaven. Keeping his hand over his heart, he guided himself down the hallway towards Uriel's room. Not her classroom...but her personal rooms. Uriel let him stay there when he was younger and he wished for a comfortable place to stay that wouldn't remind him of the women who'd broken his heart. His sorrow, anger and hopelessness fled him as something vibrated with in his body and Seraph Kyrios sucked the negative emotions out of him and fed those who couldn't feed themselves. Numbness replaced his sorrow, a freezing cold filled his body and he could no longer feel his limbs.

Kiel weakly smiled at Tori, "I'm not worried...I'm terrified. Professor Uriel doesn't look the same to me anymore. For a girl...she hits hard." Like the warrior angel that she was, she held a variety of weapons under that thin cloak of hers and strapped to her thighs. He didn't want to admire his teacher for her legs when knives were being thrown at him.
