The book ruffled it's pages, turning a few pages and where Yves' pages ended, Tori's began with her full name scralled in elegant golden lettering. "Of course. I know quite a lot about you. Whether you will remain the Seraph is always your choice and never written in stone, but it is written here that you will be accepted and you will do quite a bit much as Seraph of the High Court with Mr. Zadkiel Uru beside you as a guard." Kiel snorted, impressed, "Well, that's nice to know. So then she will be the Seraph." The Book turned four pages and flipped back to her name. "Yes, she will indeed. But I cannot reveal her future to her as it's against Yves' Law of Order. To keep the order of the universe, I mustn't show you your future in fear you would want to change it."

"Kaila...you know very well I have much more pressing matters on my mind most of the time. Alright...I apologize I've forgotten it but truly a last name will not matter. As one day, I intend to make you mine fully and completely. You won't need your own last name. You'll have mine."

Penny flicked Tristan's ear, "You're not making any sense, buddy. Anyways, I'm not a player. I'm just sayin'...she's not very different than human girls."

Kyrios pulled back his sleeve and patted Nana's head, "This is Nana, my companion. If you dislike her form I suggest you hold your tongue until after we've gone. I will not be so lenient on humans with no manners." he spread all six of his black wings and glowered at Genesis, "Your report?" Genesis jumped up, flattening his wing against his back, "Yes sir! This is Giselle and Allen. They're the last two humans, both Children of Evangelion."

 

Tori felt like an anchor was tossed out with her foot attached. Everything became very heavy and surreal.
"thank you mr. grey, you've been very helpful."
She walked out of the classroom in a daze. She was not read th for this kind of responsibility.

Kaila rolled onto her side, facing ren. She rested her head on her hand so that she could look at him better.
"well mr. leahpar, might you be proposing?"
She had a smug grin on her face as she stared down at him.

Schuyler sifted through her large amount of clothes frustrated. Everything suddenly seemed unworthy of her closet.
"why is there nothing to wear?!"

Tristan opened his eyes angrily.
"i was trying to sleep. I'm sorry if I wsn't coherent enough for you. I'm just sayin be careful."
He rolled back over onto his back and stared up at the ceiling.

Giselle bit down onto her lip and sat quietly while the angels spoke to one another.

 

Kiel followed after her as the Book of the Grey closed on it's own and became silent. "Tori, hey...hey!" Grabbing her shoulders, he spun her around to face him and made puppy dog eyes. "You'll be alright. I'm here, let me share the burden until it becomes easier to handle."

Ren's lips twitched upwards and he outlined her bottom lip with his thumb, "I'm proposing...that one day, you marry me and take my name."

Penny paced in front of Tristan's cot, "I'm not the one who should be careful. You're the one crushin' on somebody else's girl." He thought back to Tori gripping the hand of that guy who said he disliked humans.

Genesis and Kyrios argued in muffled voices until he slapped Genesis and glowered down at Allen and Giselle. "I'm afraid our school cannot house you and your friend. Even if you are Children of Evangelion. I need you to leave."

 

Tori pulled out of kiel's grasp. She just wanted to disappear, but that was impossible since kiel wouldn't leave her alone.
"i'm not ready for this. Three days ago I was worried i'd be blind forever, and now i'm supposed to lead everyone. I don't care if the book said I'm supposed to do all this great stuff, but it's about getting from this moment to that esteemed seraph."
She slid down the wall until she was sitting on the floor with her legs outstretched.

Kaila rolled her eyes, but with a smile on her face.
"you always have been great at beating around the bush."
She rested her head on ren's chest and listened to his heart beat.
"you still have to learn it. I don't care how, but you do. That is my mission for you."
She tapped her pointer finger on the tip of his nose.

Tristan automatically thought of jean from earlier. He sat up quickly and his heart was pounding.
"how did you know about that?"

Giselle sat quietly, but jumped a little when kryios struck genesis.
"um...all right...right now?"

 

Kiel chuckled light heartedly. "One step at a time, Tori. You don't have to deal with everything right away." He stretched out his hand to her, "I'll do anything for you. Just name it and consider it done."

Ren closed his eyes, "You do realize it's taken me all these years that I've known you to work up the nerve to say that, right?" He picked up a lock of her hair and sniffed it, letting it fall, Ren wrapped his wings around Kaila and himself and held her close to him.

Penny lifted one eyebrow and frowned, "Dude...I was here when you said she was cute."

Kyrios nodded curtly and Genesis stepped forwards to escort them back to their school. "I'm sorry..." he mumbled.

 

Tori took kiel's hand and stood back up. she sighed as she entwined her fingers into his.
"that's an awfully big promise."
She stood there quietly staring at the floor.

Kaila cidn't respond. She just nuzzled her head into his neck and closed her eyes. She wanted to bask in that moment.for as long as possible. Eventually the other shoe would drop and she would have to be prepared. Kaila figured ren was assuming she wasn't going to go through with it anymore, but she had to. There was no other option. She just had to come up with a plan.

Tristan looked at penny confused and after a minute it finally clicked.
"oooh. That. Hah no. I don't have a crush, I just thought she was attractive is all. That's it."
He relaxed once it was apparent nobody knew about what happened.

Schuyler eventually settled on a black ruffled skirt and a red tank top. She curled her long silver hair hair and slipped on black stockings and red pumps. She put a headband in her hair with an oversized rose on it and a black pearl necklace.
"done! Oh how I do love red."

Giselle stayed quiet until the seraph was no longer in earshot.
"so um...what was all of that about?"

 

Kiel barely suppressed a laugh, "Hey, if it's for you, I'm sure I can handle it. After all, whatever the Seraph does can't be too difficult."

Ren relaxed and let his mind drift. He'd definately felt someone in his dream before...the feeling was familiar...like Gabriel's...but he'd asked the Archangel to stay out of his head repeatedly. Surely he would respect his wishes.

Penny blankly stared at him, "That? What are you talking about?"

Genesis lifted his head, "Lord Sitnah is just...touchy today. Our Seraph of the High Court has passed away today. I won't take you back...not to the human world where you're in danger. You'll stay here until it's safe to return."

 

"So what do we do until then?" Allen asked.

Then when he got home a guy was there standing at the door when he turned around he transported Roxsew to a strange world. Strange enemies popped up around Roxsew.Then Roxsew felt a strange feeling through his head. then his head started hurting. he was on the floor holding his head.then dark aura surrounded his body he started to float up in the air. his back had dark wings. his eyes was red instead of blue. he screamed as he fired dark projectiles at the enemies after that he was knocked out from all that power. when he woke up he was at his house in his bed.

 

"i'm not too sure about."
Tori stared down the hallway aimlessly.
"you said we should talk to gabriel. Do you think he's finally made his way downstairs?"

Kaila wanted to keep lying there forever, but knew that couldn't happen. Dinner would startsoon and given the circumstances, all teachers would have to be present. There would be no way around that. Kaila lifted her head up to look at ren.
"we should probably get going soon. After what happened today, i'm sure uriel will be expecting all of us. Especially since all of the seraphim are here as well."

Tristan scratched the back of his head and laid back down.
"ah...it's nothing. Don't worry about it."
He eyed penny with his peripheral vision.
"so what are you going to do on your date later?"

Giselle looked at genesis with concern.
"are you sure? You already lost your wing and got slapped because of us. I wouldn't want you to get into more trouble."
She glanced over to allen for support.

Schuyler gave herself one more once-over before walking out of her dorm. She decided to head to the dining hall and wait for dinner to start. Schuyler kept on the lookout in case the dark hunter managed to pop up in front of her.

 

ooc: This would be alright if it had anything to do with angels. I'm a very picky person about angels and this has barely any bio involving getting wings or entering the school.

Kiel frowned, "Probably...do you want to go down and look? I mean...surely him and Professor Uriel are moving Yves' to...someplace nicer for him."

Ren rubbed his eyes and sat up. "Yeah, you're right." He stood, helping Kaila up with him and swept the bones off his desk into his drawer. Scraps nosed the box back under a table and curled up beside it in the darkness.

Penny briefly turned pink, "Well I wanted to get her out of this school and show her a good time out on the town...but...I guess I'll have to be content with seeing her school with her. Who knows, I might get lucky."

Genesis laughed quietly, "I'm sure. Being slapped is no big deal. My wing hurt...but hey...I've learned my lesson. Don't do anything halfway through. I'm devoted to keeping you two safe. You two will stay in my room. Don't worry...beside it is another room that was for another student but I heard he isn't coming. I don't need a place to sleep as I'll probably be busy with work."

Kallai wiped her tears on a napkin and slouched beside Enan iin the dining hall. She wasn't used to being so sad all the time. It was humid and sticky in the dining hall due to her conflicting emotions of anger and grief.

 

Schuyler was one of the first to the dining hall and immediately noticed the climate change. It hit her like a brick wall. She immediately panicked about how humidity makes her hair frizzy and that the moisture would ruin her make-up, until she noticed the summer seraphim. She hurried over to the seraphs and curtsied.
"lady kallai."

Tori shrugged and headed in the direction of the dining hall.
"it doesn't hurt to look I guess."

Kaila gave ren a kiss on the cheek before heading towards the door.
"are you going to walk with me? Or would you rather keep this a secret?"
She raised an eyebrow with a playful smile on her face, while she waited at the door.

Tristan couldn't help but start laughing. He had to try abd catch his breath, because he was laughing so hard. He wondered why they never hung out in school. Other than being a year apart, he seemed to have a lot in common with penny. Including their attitudes.
"hah! yeah maybe. Sorry, it's not funny."

Giselle was concerned. She didn't want anyone betting hurt on her behalf.
"if you think that's a good idea. Soo...why don't they think he's coming?"
She had always been nosy and now was no exception.

 

Ren smiled sadly, "I think you'd best change before dinner, Kaila...I've a feeling it won't be a normal dinner. Mourning will start and Uriel's going to get mad if we're not wearing white."

Kallai lifted her tear filled blue eyes and blinked several times to make out Schuyler's face. "Oh, Schuyler...my you look beautiful. But...something in white would be more fitting for the day...and coming days... Oh..my brother~! Y-Yves...!" Kallai wailed and sobbed until Enan clutched her shoulder, attempting to calm her down and whispering things in her ear.

Penny shrugged, "You have a funny way of showing how something's not funny. Either way...huh?" His head snapped to the door as it banged open and shut simultaniously and the clatter of metal and boots rang down the hallways outside.

Genesis lowered his eyes to the floor, "Because...he turned into a monster on the way to the school. Most kids have their parents drive them here on a road that only appears once every year at the beginning of the school year. I heard from a friend that his parents didn't make it in time and he took a ferry. Entering into the woods, they said he met Kadaj...and he turned him into a Dark Beast to serve him. The kid went by the nickname, Serpent. He was my roommate last year too."

On the other side of the school, Gabriel, Uriel and several other unnamed High Court angels carried Yves' crystaline body outside. They'd used most of their magic creating a special shrine in the form of a small house in the back garden to house him.

 

Kaila nodded and opened the door.
"of course. See you at dinner."
She walked out into the hallway towards her bedroom.

Schuyler was hurt. She spent all that time getting ready and now she just had to change. Her spirit was definitely crushed.
"oh. Okay. I guess I just wasted all that time. I'll go change."
Watching her seraphim burst out into tears just made the whole experience a thousand times worse.

Tristan's gaze jumped behind him to the doors that mysteriously flew open and then slammed shut.
"that...was weird..."

Giselle's gaze dropped to the floor as they walked.
"oh...i'm sorry to hear that."

 

Ren pulled off his clothes, changing into a white suit. He pulled uncomfortably at the cuffs. Getting his bracelets through sleeves was always a nightmare. It hit him then. The familiar feeling. It was Kiel's. His and Gabriel's were so close he could barely identify them. "And I thought Gabriel didn't want children..."

Penny nodded silently.

Sanya dragged her baggage through the hall by a mat of black hair. Blood dripped from Sanya's delicate face onto plates of armor. Her metal wing was bent in places and her normal wing shreaded to the bone. Her step never wavered despite the trail of blood she left behind her as she slowly made her way towards the dining hall.

Genesis stopped outside his room and pushed open the door for them. "Stay here... It's no big deal but...I...I'm bringing you two to the funeral tomorrow morning. I have a pretty good feeling you'll be allowed to stay after that." He just knew the new Seraph would be there and with everyone else there, Kyrios wouldn't be able to send the humans home.

 

Kaila entered her room and walked into her large closet. She had it enchanted to fit her ebormous amount of clothing. It could seemingly go on forever, so long as she keeps adding clothes to it. She slipped out of her clothes and into a white strapless dress. Kaila placed a white blazer over yhethe top of it. The dress had little flowers at the bottom in a champagne color. It loosly hit her knees as the hem line ended at her shins. She slipped into a pair of white flats and headed out the door.
What am I going to do?

Schuyler walked back to her room to change. She had already put in so much effort. She wasn't even sure she had anything white that was presentable.

Tori noticed a trail of blood ahead of them. the trail appeared to be heading towards the dining hall. Tori hurried down the hallway.
"what could have happened?!"
She let go of kiel's hand to move quicker.

Giselle walked into the bedroom and stood awkwardly.
"ok...are you leaving now?"

 

Kiel hurried after Tori, "Tori, wait! You don't know what's up ahead! Don't rush off so....so...." He froze in place, his mouth still working for words as he stared through the open dining hall doors at Sanya covered in blood, her wings messed up and of what her dress could be seen under her armor, torn. Lulu's body lie at her feet in shreads, bleeding out freely onto the marble flooring. The Seraphim had stood and cast horrified looks at the young angel.

Genesis closed the door behind him and shrugged off his red jacket. "No, I have to change first." He pulled off his black sweater and kicked off his boots. His bare back bore the tell tale signs of more than a slap and his wing being torn off. Several red and healing whip marks lined his muscles and almost spelt out 'Kyrios' Pet'. "I'm anticipating that at dinner everyone will be wearing white...so I might as well too. Being the odd one out would be strange."

 

Tori stood there frozen. Her eyes were wide, taking in the sight.
"prof...fessor...?"

Schuyler dug through her clothes and managed to find a white skirt and white tank top. She kept on her red heels, but took the rest of what she had on off. She hurried back down to the dining hall.

Kaila walked out of her classroom and noticed the trail of blood heading in the direction of the dining hall. She followed after, carefully making sure she didn't step in any of it.

Giselle was horrified by genesis's back. She covered her mouth and turned so that he could have some privacy. His back was destroyed, covered in long gashes and scars. It looked liked some kind of medieval torture.
"wow..."

 

Sanya glowered at Kyrios sitting at a table already and growled, "I caught the one responsible for killing Lord Amittai...forgive me, Lord Kyrios, but he was like a brother to me as he was your brother. Your soldiers were taking too long and I am the superior hunter of the Court. She is but only unconscious...but I intend to send her to Hell myself." She competely ignored everyone else as Kyrios nodded slowly.

Genesis glanced over his shoulder and ran a hand through his hair, "Sorry...I should've warned you before undressing in front of you." he said, misunderstanding the situation completely.

 

Kaila walked into the dining hall at the same time as one of the students. She managed to hear sanya speak and present her kill, before destroying it. She stood quietly with the students in the doorway and watched the demon mortified.

Schuyler stood alongside her techer, not being able go move a muscle. It was like she had been petrified. She had never seen so much blood in onle place before.
"how..."?

Giselle put her hands in her pocket and shrugged. She kept her back to genesis while he continued.
"it's all right. I just thought I would give you some privacy."
