Yves panted heavily, "Uriel, my dear...would you...kindly lend me a sun crystal?" Searching her many pockets of her clothes, Uriel pulled out a gleaming yellow stone dangling off a chain. His tanned fingers wrapped around the stone eagerly. It's warmth radiated through Yves' body. "Thank you my dear. Now...where is Kaila? I must speak with her about the lessons."

Penny scoffed, "What are you talking about? She's just a girl, Tristan. She's probably new. Hiya miss, are you new in the neighborhood?"

Lulu smiled and shook her head, "No...I've been here before." her voice was melodic and had a slight british accent despite her appearance.

Kadaj shrugged, "What should I care? Humans...angels...they all scream in terror and pain." Laughing, Kadaj's projection faded out. "Bring me the book and I'll consider sparing the school and the students. Abandon the school and I'll only get another unknowing soul to fetch it for me."

 

Once Allen got to his homeroom, he took his seat and waited for class to start.

Tori stepped away from the seraphim and back towards the class she was going to. She hoped kiel wouldn't notice her since he was acting strange. Tori wasn't a fan of this new side of him, although she had only known him for three days. for all she knew, this could be his normal self.

Kaila watched as kadaj's figure disappeared. She was in a very serious situation. No good would come of either outcome. Give kadaj the book and the ultimate evil is unleashed, don't go get the school would be attacked, leave and he manipulates someone that can't ward off his suggestion. She flicked her wrist and all the papers went back to their proper place on her desk. She walked over to the chalkboard and wrote a few lines on the board.

she then moved back to her desk and quickly worked on a new lesson plan for each group.

Every atom in tristan's body was screaming danger. He didn't like this woman standing on his porch.
"is there a reason you're on my porch miss?"
He pulled himself up with the railing so that he was standing on the floor.

Giselle looked up as allen walked into homeroom. She pulled out her planner and started writing some notes down for that day.

 

Lulu smiled, "I'm looking for someone. Maybe you can help me, Penniphalicious Grimm." Penny's smile dropped from his face, "Well now I feel awkward. I don't know your name and you obviously know mine. Ma'am...would you kindly leave. My friend here is in no position to house company and obviously you require assistance of the sort that we can't provide." Lulu's green eyes blazed and turned crimson, "Ma'am?! MA'AM!? I am NOT an old lady!" "Oh, sh--" he slammed the door shut and leaned against it.

Kiel rubbed his head and Yves set a warm hand on his shoulder, "You've come into contact with one of Kadaj's blades. I see we must get you cleansed before you change further." He nodded, rubbing at his shoulder blade. "I itch...like crazy. Tori probably thinks I'm another jerk like the rest of the guys."

A boy wearing a completely red jacket waltzed into homeroom and took a seat next to Allen. "Hey." He flipped brown hair out of his eyes and focused miraculously blue eyes on Allen's face.

 

"Hey." Allen replied to the boy. Strange, nobody usally talked to him during the school day. Either way he's still glad someone dicided to talk to him.

 

it was clear to schuyler that james wasn't quite in the mood for apologizing yet. She stood up, leaving the table and headed towards class. It seemed like the commotion was dying down which was appropriate since class would be srarted very shortly. She noticed tori sitting in the hallway outside the classroom.
"are you okay? I heard about what happened last night."

Tori looked up and nodded.
"yeah, i'm fine."
She didn't look fine. She felt awful and the fact that she had been wearing the same outfit for three days bothered her.
"I'm tori by the way. I don't think we've had the chance to introduce ourselves."
She held out her hand to shake schuyler's as she introduced herself.

Tristan stood there nervously.
"you should have done that when I told you to. Did you lock the door?"

Giselle watched as the guy in the red jacket sat down next to allen. She didn't recognize him, and she knew everyone; even if not everyone knew her. Her attention was redirected as a tapping occured on her shoulder. Giselle turned to see jared, a guy she sat by in math asking about the homework.
"oh yeah, here. Just a second."
She rifled through her backpack pulling out a blue notebook. She flipped to a page in the back which had the most recent work on it.
"here you go."
Giselle turned around to hand it to him.

 

Once Schyler had left, Sora looked down at his food and saw that he's already finished it. Since there was nothing else for him here at the cafeteria, he left and headed for class. Along the way he saw Schyler talking to Tori who was sitting outside the classroom. "Is everything alright?" He asked once he'd caught up to them.

 

Penny made a face as he felt behind him, "Yeah, I got it. She knew my entire name...creepy. Nobody knows my full name anymore. Too long." Pennephalicious...it was a long name.

Lulu boiled in her anger for a moment longer before she chuckled and disappeared. She didn't like boys very much. They always noticed her looks first and it made them stupid. She wanted someone intelligent to play with.

The boy in red flashed a half grin, "I'm Genesis. I just transferred here. Say...how come there's such a small school here, when there's that huge Acadamy just outside of town? I'm sure you can see it. The thing is huge! I'm sure it's fancy too." It was true. Humans could see the Acadamy, but entering was a different story. Not only did a rather large, mazelike forest block their path but the gate too.

Sanya groaned and rubbed her head, "This is hard... Why do you get to hang onto the clothes?" Gabriel's face was mottled red with embarrassment as he held armfulls of Tori's clothing they'd found already. "I don't want to freaking hold this stuff! P-plus...you promised T-Tori you'd find her clothes. I'm just h-helping out." Sanya pushed back her blonde hair and rolled her eyes, "Whatever you say, Mr. Pervert."

Yves led Kiel down into the lower baths that the teachers used before ascending back into Heaven when called. He dipped the boy's head underwater multipule times and Kiel began to hallucinate.

 

Allen thought about what Genisis had said. He didn't really pay much attention to the town, but he has noticed the forest that led to the Acadamy. "I have seen the whole thing, but it is kinda strange. By the way, Genisis is a unquie name.". He replied.

 

Tristan didn't take his eyes off the door. He heard lulu leave, but still didn't feel comfortable.
"yeah...it is a long name."
His nerves weren't settling in the least bit.

Schuyler jumped a little, startled by sora's voice. She hadn't seen him walk up and was caught offguard by his voice.
"y-yeah, everything's fine. Just waiting for class."

Giselle overheard the boy genesis talking about that strange school out in the forest. She had seen glimpses of it but never got a good view of it up close. She was pulled from her trance as jared asked her a question.
"hmm? Oh yeah. You're doing it right. You just gotta multiply right here."
She pointed at the sheet of paper in front of him.

 

Penny slid down the door and sat on the floor, "Too much...too damn much."

Yves helped the dizzy and slightly hallucinogenic Kiel towards his class. Seeing Schuyler, Tori and Sora in front of the door he pasted on a smile, "Morning students. Is Kaila ready for class so early in the morning?"

Genesis shrugged, "Meh, well my parents weren't normal."

 

Tristan pulled himself towards the living room to get his crutches.
"this is all really crazy."
He did some funky maneuvering so that he could pick up his crutches. It finally felt nice to stand properly with them under his arm.


Tori looked up to see yves standing above them.
"oh I don't know. I never actually opened the door."
She stood up and straightened her dress out.

Kaila overheard voices outside her door. She walked over pulling the door open.
"good morning everyone."
Her eyes met with the seraphim standing next to the children.
"ammitai. I've been expecting you. student's you can take a seat. I need to speak with ammitai before we start."

Giselle turned back around when jared was done with her notes. She stuffed the notebook back in her bag since she wouldn't have math til later in the day. There was something about this genesis kid that felt off. She couldn't place it, but didn't give up on it.

 

Sora looked up when Yves came up behind him, but before he could say anything Kaila opened classroom door and instructed them to come in. Since there was nothing else to do around here, he headed into the class and too his seat.


"Ah, I see." Allen said. He had to admit even with the unquie name, this kid was something else. Maybe it would be worth it to hang around him for awhile.

 

Penny peeked out the window, "I suppose we aren't going to school, huh? Hey, since we're together, we should do some investigating. I saw some light coming from that school beyond the forest earlier. And a few days before, there was a fire in the forest. I think something weird is going on in that school."

Yves' wings surrounded Tori for a moment, "Would you take Kiel to his seat? He's not feeling well, but he shall be better in a few hours. Oh...don't take what he's said to heart, Tori... Kiel will be back to normal by the end of the class period." He smiled and helped Tori balance Kiel's weight. His face changed from warm and smiley to a more closed off person when he turned to face Kaila, "There's something you wish to discuss?"

Sanya and Gabriel fluttered into the school carrying armfuls and a beaten up suitcase, "Tori should be in class now, so we'll just leave this in her room, okay Gabe?" Gabriel nodded. He refused to speak anymore about the subject.

Genesis reigned in his story and shifted in his chair so his blue eyes could encompass the entire room. "Checking out my good looks, yeah?" he smiled at Giselle and pushed brown hair out of his eyes, "Ah, but if only. I'm not that full of myself. Say, you guys ever...uh, see anything weird?" Heaving up a messenger bag onto the desk, Genesis pulled out a camera, "Like paranormal stuff?" Playing human was harder than he thought.

 

Tristan looked at penny confused.
"school? Dude, I graduated last year. You didn't know that?"
He was pretty shocked. Tristan just figured it was common knowledge.
"i don't know if I can really go on an investigation. Broken arm and leg...crutches..."
He looked down as if it weren't obvious.

Tori looked back at yves uncomfortably as she was ushered into the classroom carrying kiel.
"here kiel."
She lowered him into a chair and the sat down.

Kaila crossed her arms and looked at yves sternly as the last of the students filed in.
"you wish to change my lesson plans and mess with the proper way to teach the students for these humans? Do you have any idea how cruel humans are? They don't deserve our help. The humans have cast us aside. Why do you insist on helping them?"

"please."
Giselle rolled her eyes and turned to look out the window. She was sick of all these full of themselves jerks. Giselle could tell she wasn't going to like him.

Schuyler took a seat between sora and tori. She looked up at the board and read what was written on it.
"introduction to defensive magic?"
She looked at the syllabus she had tucked into the cover of the book she got the day before.
"that's not what it says here. I wonder if they changed it because if the field trip thing."

 

Penny's face fell and he blushed, "Uh..right... Well just throw on a jacket and some shoes...err...shoe and we'll get going. We can take it slow. I don't think anybody goes to that school anymore anyways..."

Kiel slumped in the chair, his eyes unfocused and staring at the desk. "T-Tori..."

Yves glowered down at her, "I know perfectly well how humans are. Our Father loves them more than he does us....but, that is not the issue. We are in charge of taking care of them and these humans are different. They are only four and the Dark Hunter's numbers have decreased but they've made their move, Kaila, and we cannot take anything for granted. We're understaffed at the moment in means of warriors. Several Archangels in Heaven have taken angels experienced in war away to Europe to deal with the riots. Our Father ordered us to teach the students here and utilize them. Using them as the sword and sheilds for the humans we are to protect." His golden eyes turned steely, "You would not defy our Father's orders...would you Kaila?"

Genesis snapped a quick picture of Gisella and Allen with the camera and leaned forward, "Somethin' the matter? Hey, I don't know your name and obviously you don't know anything about me. How about, we leave the assumptions til later and we just talk, kay? My old man raised me to say stuff bluntly. I'm just asking a question. Have you, or have you not, seen, heard, or experienced anything out of the ordinary?"

 

Allen shrugged his shoulders. "Not that I know of."

 

Tristan nodded and walked over to the closet. He pulled out a brown aviator jacket and slipped one arm in it.
"I don't understand how they could have a school running out there. It's like impossible to get to and we never hear about anything going on at it. it makes me wonder what kind of people would even go there."
Tristan slipped his foot into one of his black chuck's and grabbed his phone off the table, slipping it into his back pocket.

Tori sighed and turned to look at kiel.
"yes kiel?"
She was trying to be patient with him, but it wasn't lasting.

Kaila took a deep breath holding back her anger as her face turned a dark red.
"no...no sir I wouldn't."
She bit her lip to keep from causing further issues with the seraphim.
"ammitai, I think we're in more danger than you might have anticipated."
Kaila thought about the conversation she had with kadaj right before everyone arrived.
"I need to speak with enan as soon as possible."

Giselle continued to stare out the window, ignoring genesis. She was used to people being jerks. When she heard the click of the camera she turned turned around briefly. Giselle couldn't imagine someone taking a picture of her.
"what are you doing?"

Schuyler was a huge nerd, so when the lessons didn't match up she started freaking out.
"we're not supposed to be learning this for another..."
She flipped through the syllabus until she found it.
"three months."
She started flipping through the book since she hadn't read that section.

 

Penny nodded, "Right. So I say we go and investigate!" Eagerly, Penny held the door open for Tristan and pointed towards the forest separating them from the school. "Lets check it out."

Kiel panted a breath out before lifting glazed eyes to meet hers and jerked his head at the kid sitting in front of him. "Please tell me...he's not...growing a face out of the back of his head.." Kiel kept his face turned away from the student and swallowed. He remembered Yves' words about the hallucinations but never had he suspected they'd be so real. The face had a tongue, hanging out and grinning at him. Wide red eyes stared unblinkingly at Kiel, even though...it wasn't real.

Yves nodded, "I will request he return to the school tomorrow. Even though, Khali was supposed to come tomorrow..." He turned and headed into the classroom.

Genesis lifted the camera again, "What, did you want to pose and smile for me?"

 

So, well be learning defensive magic today. Sora thought as he looked at the lesson plan. When it came to things like this, he didn't care that much unless he was either looking forward to the lesson or if it's somethign he doesn't want to do.

Eventhough his head was still on his desk, Shane could still read the lesson plan. Wonder when were going to hit offensive magic. Other than his left arm, he really had no other way to fight and he didn;t care about defense that much.
