Angelic Divinity

Kadaj touched down lightly on top of Tristan's house. He chuckled to himself at how much more fun it was now that the Acadamy had students again. Messing with Zadkiel and finally seeing Sanya again had him in a good mood...despite being caught off guard during his fight with the boy without wings. With Lulu watching the gir and Nero on the anti-social boy, he'd taken it upon himself to destroy this boy, the boy named Tristan. Tomorrow was a new day, and he'd get a fresh start on messing up his days for eternity if that's what it took to kill him and make it into an accident that couldn't be avoided.

Yves watched the forest behind Giselle's house. He'd noticed Lulu's trademark signs; the fallen trees, the suddenly savage animals...but the worst was yet to come and he couldn't place every animal in the forest in his Court. The Seraphim were tired, protecting their Father was one thing, protecting humans was another. Human's sapped Seraphim's energy and light, if they stayed any longer, they'd all turn into dull husks of angels. Only rejuvinated by their Father that they had sworn to protect and carry out his deeds on the human world so he wouldn't be in danger. "My life has become so very difficult... I just pray Tori and the others will heed my pleas and take this burden off this old Seraph's shoulders." He'd have to make sure classes tomorrow centered around offensive and defensive magic.

 

Tristan looked up at the ceiling. Something about the roof caught his attention. His gut was saying something was wrong, but his head was trying to say otherwise. He got up and walked awkwardly to the living to watch TV. Tristan was a bit of a night owl so he liked to sit up and watch TV late at night, along with playing video games online. Tonight there was a Marathon on of his favorite show so he thought watching it might help calm his nerves.

Giselle sighed as she stared out the window. She decided to call it a night since there was school in the morning. It was depressing her to think about how she couldn't go out in the woods. She got changed and crawled into the bed. Rozelle had that being watched feeling as she tried to sleep. It was eating away at her right up until the point that she had fallen asleep.

Tori entered her now dark empty room alone. She was wet and dirty and could only think about taking a shower. It had been a long day of craziness. And she couldn't wait to go to bed.

 

Having a bit of fun, Kadaj's mood died a little as the boy remained awake, "Oh man...doesn't this kid ever sleep like a normal human?" he mumbled quietly. Pulling out his cell, Kadaj figured a bit of motivation was in order. But what did he know about order, his job was chaos. Touching the eight with his thumb, it speed-dialed Tristan's home phone. Since angelic numbers couldn't be traced and wouldn't show up on caller ID, he was just going to keep calling.

Lulu swished out of the forest, her black dress moving delicately. She stopped when she saw Yves. "Ammittai-sensei..." His golden eyes glared at her. Though the woman wasn't an angel, she wasn't human. "Leave the girl alone, Lulu." Light swirled into his hand and formed into a slick cutlass. Lulu didn't move. Her gray eyes fixed on his hooded face, "You're cruel, Ammittai-sensei. I mearly act on orders. I won't disobey Kadaj-kun and let him be disappointed in me." She pulled out a fan, but when she opened it's black folds, sharp knives glittered in the moonlight.

 

Tristan was startled by the phone ringing. It was really late and he couldn't believe who would be calling at this hour. He reached over the arm rest and picked up the phone off of the receiver.
"Hello?"
Tristan had no clue as to who would be calling.

 

Kadaj grinned, it was time for fun. He mimicked an Indian person and continued, "Hello, I'm selling life-insurance. Would you please fill out the following survey. Have any trees fallen around or near you? Are power lines suddenly snapping off in your path? Has a bus hit you recently?" He let the obvious questions sink in for a moment, "Do people go missing in your neighborhood and return dead?" Resisting the urge to laugh was almost unbearable. Naturally, Kadaj snapped, and started laughing into the reciever. "Ah...are you scared yet, little boy? Say...is that show you're watching any good? I've been meaning to get a new tv but I couldn't fathom something fun to watch on it."

 

Tristan's jaw dropped as he absently stared at the television. The phone slipped out of his hand and he could hear the laughter on the other end of the line echoing in his head and through the speaker. This person was watching him and knew about what was happening in his life. The most recent dead body found was a friend of his from school. She was like a sister to him and when the police finally found her Tristan had freaked out. He sat on the swings at the park for hours where they first started talking. Now there was a stranger on the phone who knew what he was doing and who he was.

 

Kadaj took the lack of the sound of breathing that the boy had dropped his phone. "Good, you're scared. I'll be calling every Wednesday night. You'd best pick up and do as I say or more people like your little girlfriend will turn up dead. Have a good night, Tristan." Flipping his cell shut, Kadaj leaned back on Tristan's roof and grinned to himself. He did love what he did, even if it made Sanya angry. He loved a firey girl anyways.

 

Tristan was frozen. He faintly heard what the voice had said from the phone on the floor, but got the gist of it. he was panicking and could only think of one thing to do. He nervously picked the phone up with shaking fingers and dialed 911.
"hello, this is tristan mclean. I need a squad car sent over to my house right away. I think there's someone watchimg me. I-i just got this disturbing phone call."
He was freaking out and wouldn't be able to get any sleep until there was some form of protection outside.

 

After a good twenty minutes passed, the squad car from the police parked outside Tristan's house and Kadaj sighed, "Oh, but police won't help you against me, Tristan. I own you mortals." But for now, he'd let them be, since he'd already messed up Tristan's homeroom teacher. Ah, that was a fun time. That woman didn't know what hit her...literally. Taking a nice, new fire axe and the shop equipment for a spin with her had been interesting. To learn that much about the human anatomy.

Yves exhausted himself mentally battling Lulu and then blocking a few of her blows until she'd fled and was making slow progress to Tristan's house. Resting a hand on the window to the living room, Yves wasn't paying attention to Tristan still awake. He panted hard and touched his shoulder. Blood came off on his hand and he felt the after effects of Lulu's knives. His body started to feel heavy. "Damn you, Lulu...I can't spend two days as a mortal...Tori... Father help me..." His hand slid down the window, making a long squealing noise and he started to slump to the ground.

 

Tristan was standing at the front door talking to the police officer when he and the cop heard a thumping and a squeal. He watched as the cop pulled his gun out and walked around the house. Tristan rentered the living room, and saw the blood steeaked handprint on the window. He was locked in place. Everything was starting to seem like a bad horror movie and he was panicking--one of those slasher flicks, where it doesn't matter if you don't die, you still never truly live afterward.

Tori stepped out of the shower and crawled into bed. The sheets felt soft on her skin and she fell asleep almost instantly.

 

Yves pushed himself up again and set his hand on the officer's head, "Thank you for your assistance. I can take it from here." Instantly nodding, the officer started to leave and Yves motioned for Tristan to meet him at the front door. Starting to limp around the house, Yves flicked his golden eyes upwards and scowled, "Kadaj...leave the boy alone."

 

Tristan stood in his crutches shaking. The last thing he wanted to do was meet this stranger at his front door after je left a bloodsoaked handprint on the window and was able to so easily turn the cop away without any questions. as soon as he started to move, tristan fell over from shaking. It wad diffivult to get up when he had only one good arm and leg. It almost looked as if he were dragging himself acrossed the floor to get to the door. What truly terrified him was the thought that he could be walking into a trap. For all tristan knew, this was the man that had called him a short while ago. He could see outside since the door had been left open, but tristan had yet to see the injured man.

 

Yves poked his head through the door and offered a gentle smile to the boy on the ground. "You are injured. Do not move, please." his voice crooned to the boy. Yves knelt involuntarily in the doorway and panted, "I apologize...I'm a bit out of breath at the moment. If you'll...g-give me a..moment...." Slumping over, Yves passed out and blood continued to stain his clothes from his shoulder.

 

Tristan laid there on the ground in shock. This male stranger had passed out in his treshold and was bleeding everywhere. Not too mention he had wings. Massive wings were protruding out of his back. He had only seen these kinds of things in movies. Nothing was making sense and the pain killers he had taken were starting to go into effect. He was growing drowsy as he laid there on the floor in the entrence with the front door wide open. Tristan didn't know what to do as his vision grew hazey. Everything was getting difficult to see as his eyes kept shutting on him.

Personality: Quiet and more relaxed than his cousin.
Bio: Up until resently he's been staying with his cousin eversinve both his parents died in a accident of which he still doesn't no the cause of. Eventhough he doesn't like to talk about the subject, he hasn't let it affect the way he thinks or feels. Currently he has no definite place to stay exceptfor his cousin's house, but he wanders around from time to time.

Yves' form glowed and burst into thousands of tiny lights as he faded back to Heaven to recuperate his strength. Behind him Enan stood in his white suit, hiding his wings from the boy and a smirk on his lips. "I see you weren't strong enough to deal with a Dark Hunter and still protect the boy. Poor Ami-sama." he chuckled. Enan cast an annoyed glance at the boy and shifted, "What to do with you now... Well, you are home and perfectly safe... Whatever, I'll just leave this be, as the students will be here in a day or so to take over our job." With that he turned on his heel and sauntered away into the darkness.

 

OOC: There really wasn't much I could do with both my angel chracters alseep.


Allen stood next to the window of his cosuins house staring at the sky. Eversince his cousin went to that school of his, he's been staying here whenver he could. He let out a good sigh before movng away from the window and looked at the door. I guess I could go somewhere, as long as I lock up here. Grabbing the keys out of his pocket, he opened the door and left once it was locked.
