Angelic Divinity

He glared at them, large dark midnight blue wings barely moving as he hovered before them. Their mouths were open in shock. "But....wait just a minute...how were we supposed to know that!?" A small smirk twitched his lips at his student's surprise, "It is exactly why you don't know already that you have failed. Hmph....useless." a ball of water, lightning and darkness formed in his palm and everything went black.​

Milleniums ago an acadamy was created by the Seraphim to train young halflings and pure breeds into the Divine Warriors they were meant to be. Some pass, some fail. Those that pass become the true angels they were born to be, whether they were half or pure in the beginning. Those that fail....are never seen again.

Classes take place like a normal school, except these classes teach more than just reading, writing and arithmetic. Each student has a strength and a weakness that the staff analyzes and exploits. But it's all for the good of yourself.

This acadamy hasn't been in session for hundreds of years, which rises the question of what's happened in the world that they'd need angels to protect them again? Among the hundreds of angels attending and teaching, only a few teachers know the truth. Surrounded by a lush forest filled with only God knew what kind of unnatural creatures and an ocean on the opposite side of the forest. The Island of Haven is large and left enough room for a single jet to arrive, drop off students and leave. It's the new students who start this year that will discover the truth and learn more about themselves and those around them that maybe they didn't want to know.

The Light: A holy breed of angels that although are more "good" in nature, are quite high placed in their own minds. It doesn't apply to all though, as there are those who've chosen the light simply because they believe it is good.

The Dark: Angels who rebelled against the Rules of the Seraphim and are more practiced in disobeying and most magics. Not entirely an "evil" side to be on and although looked down upon by light angels, they are a more patient breed.

3. You may have as many characters as you wish, but please, if you don't know where a majority of your created characters are then you have too many.

Bio: Kiel's parents died before they could tell him what he was. After a month in a new school and with a new foster family, Kiel grew wings as every angel did on their 16th birthday. His foster father brought him a large black sword the day before he was supposed to leave for this new acadamy that housed angels, or creatures as his foster family called him. The sword is from Kiel's biological father. Though he doesn't remember much about his father, he knew his mother was human, at least...she seemed that way.

Bio: Pen has always hated having a girly or incredibly long name and thus acts without thinking and comes across rude. His frienships lie only within Kendo class and he generally has limited contact with others. Living within the large town, Pen has lived a solitary life so far. Pen denies that his family has a guardian angel looking after them, especially since in recent years his father passed away and his mother became ill. Strange happenings have started occuring around him, such as people missing and reappearing mumbling gibberish and animals suddenly becoming savage around him. In the past year things have become more life-threatening. Construction objects have fallen inches in front of him or behind and other dangerous situations occuring near him.

He works for Kadaj the Dark Angel along with Lulu the Bloody Blossom and also resides now in the town just south of the Acadamy of the Angels, stalking humans.

Bio: Lost his parents on January 1st, 1995. He and his sister Dian (will make her later) lived in an apartment in New York. James kept to himself when his parents died and wandered off one night. He was found by the Angel of Death and Trained in the dark arts. He has not shown any powers yet, but the Angel of Death thinks James is ready.

Bio: Gregory is different from most people. When others see people crying out for help, he does not help them. He laughs at them. He enjoys causing pain to others, making them as miserable as he himself felt when he lost his parents at the young age of 4. He was raised an orphan, having little memory of his parents. Always excluded, Gregory sought ways of making the other children understand his pain. He achieved his goal, growing black, feathered wings as he laughed at the unconscious child at his feet. Only days after the attack, Gregory fled the orphanage, vanishing into the night as he used his new wings to ascend the small buildings that sat all over the place. He stumbled upon the acadamy, and applied for it eagerly as a means of escaping his past.

She regularly got in fights,as she took offenance at the slightest thing. One day she angered a gang of guys,who threw her off a cliff. While falling,she felt a rush of powerful heat inside herself and her wings,which are different shades of red,appeared and she flew up,and killed them(and has since been rather fond of inflicting pain on others)

I'd like to start soon but this weekend is busy for me so we'll start some time next week to the weekend. It's never to late to join and anybody you guys think would be interested, you can ask them to join. :)

 

OOC: Alright! Decided to start because I was bored of waiting, even though it'll move slowly for a while due to school and such.

IC: Zadkiel stared up at the large castle-like acadamy. "You're kidding me....this place looks like Dracula's house." He combed his black hair back with his fingers and shifted his sword on his hip. "I hope they don't teach lame stuff like normal school." He resented what he was and how humans looked at him with awe and fear. Glancing over his shoulder at his midnight black wings he scowled and looked back to the front gates of the school. "This will be a long year..."

Ren, Gabriel and even surprisingly, Uriel stood in front of the gates before the acadamy. Gabriel frowned as he studied Uriel out of the corner of his eye, She's....my age? No, Ren's...or rather...the earth's age? his head ached from the thought, Don't think about it. She's just another teacher....yeah....a teacher that teaches the only fighting class and could probably cut my head off with a thought. he couldn't help himself as he laughed quietly at the thought and Uriel's sharp blue eyes pierced him. "Silence is key. Perhaps you should stay silent until your class period comes. I'll do the introduction if you don't mind." Gabriel shook his head rapidly to avoid her icy temper. Ren, on the other hand, grumbled and narrowed his yellow eyes at the coming students. Most of them seemed pretty normal, but his aura tingled as he felt the more...interesting students. May this year be as pleasing as my own year was.

A school in the middle of practically nowhere. With the forest surrounding it and the ocean blocking the edge and a single stone bridge leading towards it, it seemed the perfect place for all sorts of mysterious things to happen. Most of the terrors that could pose a threat were kept at bay by the teacher's and those that were unknown to the young students attending the newly opened acadamy were better left unstirred.

 

Gregory stood outside the gates with the other students. He saw the Acadamy as a place to lay low until he could escape, nothing more. Who knows..perhaps i can even cause more suffering he thought to himself coldly.
OOC: Is the actual place called the Acadamy or is "acadamy" just spelt wrong?

 

ooc: Actually I never gave the name for a reason. Secrecy is my best friend. Get used to it. ^^

 

The Angel of Death placed a hand on Jame's shoulder as the latter looked at the school. "Are you ready?" he asked
James nodded," I guess..."
"Remember, you need to get more people to our side."
"alright..." James sighed And find my sister, he thought darkly.

 

Unad walked slowly up to the gates,looking around at everyone.
Why am I here again? she thought to herself,shaking her head so her hair fell over her face.
Oh right...I was kicked out of the last place
Smiling grimly to herself,she kept walking slowly forwards,streching her wings out so they caught the sunlight.

 

Zadkiel shivered in the morning light. He noticed the other students flocking to the gates. Ignoring them, he stopped in front of three rather intimidating angels.

Gabriel smiled as he saw the students but his smile fell when he saw Zadkiel. That's not right.... Ren stayed silent and impassive beside him. Ren usually made the surroundings more vibrant. The cherry blossom trees moved in the wind and the ivy climbing a majority of the acadamy seemed even greener as the sunlight hit it.

Uriel stepped closer to the gathering students. She rested her hand on her hilt of her sword and pushed her brown hair back from her face impatiently, "Welcome young angels! Each of you have your own reasons for being here and now you, your family and your friends will be pushed to a limit of isolation and frustration. Here, in this school especially for your kind, your powers will be tested and pushed to the max. Learning is key and with the knowledge you learn will be stretched beyond your imagination." She paused for a dramatic effect and a few students cringed in fear when her wings, which had been invisible, unfolded behind her and cast the students in shadow. Her wings were bright white, a few feathers broken and ripped from previous wars, and three times her height. "Make friends, learn what you can, and perfect your powers. Welcome to the Sa'Kage Acadamy. You are all now enrolled." she smiled, "Good luck."

 

"Good luck," said James a bit loudly, "As if luck even exists." He looked at the other students and decided that soe of them would be good pawns. He went up to Zadkiel and asked, "Hey, I'm James. Have you seen my younger sister Diane? She's a bit shorter than me, green eyes and Brown hair. She also wears a Bandanna with a heart that has an arrow in it." I hope he can at least be a good friend... for now...

 

That's one way to welcome us" Sora thought grabbing his sword. "Maybe here I can finally learn how to control this thing
He put the sword back on his back and waited for the gates to open.
