The fan base is not any worse than any other fan base. You have obviously not seen the fear that goes with some Nintendo game fan bases. The furry sites off them.. yeah. In the end, there are fun fans, there are silly fans, there are serious fans, and then there are fanbois and fangurls who should be avoided at all costs, no matter what is out there for us to ogle. Some fans just hurt us all. xD
Pretty much this. I like Twilight. It's an alright book. But I'm not going to ask Robert Pattinson to suck my blood or stalk him. Fanbase can range anywhere from tolerating a series to liking it to being obsessed to it. Some of those threads in the pics you provided weren't even too bad. Normal stuff I'd expect on a forum Then there's the "Ven makes me horny" thread. Fanbase has a wide range.
I've never been made fun of, and I've never hidden that I play it. Your argument is now invalid. Seriously though, the people whose opinion I care enough about are wise enough to know that a franchise itself doesn't stand or fall with its fanbase.

When gathering data, one must draw random samples from the analysed group. If that is not done, you get bias, which is what we have here, because it is only Gamefaqs users following a Gamefaqs meme. What you are suggesting is akin to writing off the entire human race due to samples taken from /b/. So the people in the picture do not act in a responsible, mature manner, but they do not represent the entire fanbase. Your one opinion has little conviction on a forum dedicated to KH. It's an illogical and irrational step, which seems to stem from your dislike of Mike. Don't tell me not to let my emotions get the better of me, when your clearly the one who should follow your own advice. You can't put the judgement on KH-vids when those images are from a completely unrelated site. Give me an example of 'fail' on this website, and then we talk. Otherwise, keep the gossip to the Spam zone.

O.o dislike/hate what you want but why come on a forum aimed at fans of kingdom hearts and advertise the fact? and as said below.. not all kingdom hearts fans are like that.. in fact, most of them aren't. Kingdom Hearts is and has been for a long time my favourite game and yet I'm not thinking about it 24/7 or posting threads like the ones in the picture (which tbh are failed and actually quite funny) also, I haven't even played it at all in months. I'm not picked on either. basically, you're just narrow minded...

I do not get picked on either but some people do. I like so many different video games and movies etc that no one really cares to mock me. Or maybe it's because I have a lack of shame in what I enjoy so they feel it's rather pointless to bother. However, I see no reason to turn it around and say it's a 'hater' gesture as well, it is a point that some people do get mocked and well, the 'squee' fanbois and fangurls of anything tend to make anyone, even if they love the same thing, go 'dayamn'. On here, not so many people do that sort of thing though. And if they enjoy doing it elsewhere, good for them. As long as no one is being actually harmful to others, who cares.
Word to the wise: Never use GameFAQs boards as a accurate representation of a games fanbase. Seriously, we go through fads there faster than toilet paper. In the end, the guys over there are merely having a laugh, and none of those topics would have been serious discussion. Are you honestly trying to suggest that KH as a series sucks (in your own opinion) because of what we guys over at GameFAQs joke about on the games forum? Are you clinically sane? We aren't the whole fanbase over there, you know.
Sorry that doesn't prove anything. All it shows is that there are fans that are acting different compared to your average. By the way, I like how you come on here and made your point by having your last word on me. My lonesome self? I think I should finally be cocky instead of being so negative about myself. I run two of my own fansites, which has an amazing team. I work at another website (here), where I report and work with once again...another amazing team. I'm also communicating with some of the most brightest members out there right in these forums. So, I don't understand exactly what you are saying. I'm throwing the facts about the community and myself into one. It's very simple. The community acts different depending on your members at different fansites. Everyone is different, but here on KH-Vids I haven't seen that. By the way, again what lonesome self? I have a team of over twenty people in my fandub. I also have a lot of people who are rooting for my team. Why? It's simple. We put in a effort to entertain the viewers. If that doesn't succeed, many know that we at least tried.
