I'm not really getting how this is a Photo Manip. o_o

 

I really like this, though it's pretty simple, I think it serves its purpose and that's what makes it good.

I think photomanip isn't adding new stuff to the picture, but using what it already has to enhance it? That's what I think Misty means...I think another text would fit better, but that's just me.

 

I dunno if I'd call this a manip or not. It's more of a sig to me.

With manips you have to work with an idea; with sigs you're more or less working with a stock, which is why you can get away with using wonky effects that don't really make any sense.

For manips on the other hand... It's more assembling things together. A good friend of mine who's like... a pro at manips told me to always ask myself "WHY am I putting these together? WHAT look do I want to achieve. HOW can I make this look real?" before I even make my canvas.

 

Okay, okay. I get it. <,,< It's not photomanip. I only called it that because I took this picture (
