Birth by Sleep An Evil Grin...could it suggest something?

I was surfing the net trying to look for some screenshots, and I came across this one. In most of the pictures we've seen Terra looks (I hate to sound mushy) sweet and very friendly; but in this screenshot he doesn't look like that at all. He looks....well, pretty sinister if you ask me; and he looks eerily like Xemnas/Heartless Ansem. I'm probably going to get flamed by about a hundred of you guys out there, but do you think that this is a shot after his little chat (deal) with Old Master Xehanort?

 

I don't think so, personally. I think that look could also be perceived as determined/confident, you know?

He reminds me more of Axel in that picture, because of his facial expression, rather than Xemnas.

 

Yeah, I noticed that too! It can be interpreted in a lot of different ways, but evil grin came to mind when I first looked at that picture.

 

It could be seen in different ways, IMO it's more of an expression Axel would use.

 

He looks like Riku if you ask me, the facial expression not him in general. I think he'll turn evil, then see the light, every thing will be alright, as always in kingdom hearts >_> I wish Riku stayed evil.

 

Actually, it looks like Luxord right before you fight him in TWTNW. To me it says more "Hehehee...I get to use my oversized keyblade again!" rather than "Hehehehee...I'mma gonna take over the world and become the main villian in the next two games!"

 

I've never seen a picture of Terra looking "sweet and very friendly". He usually looks angry in other pictures. This is probably the first time I've seen him smile. This scene is actually when he was talking to Maleficent in the Sleeping Beauty world. If you search for some other pics you can see more of this scene. I agree with a lot of people that this is similar to Riku's scenario with Maleficent in KH1 since Terra might have some connection to him. Maybe Maleficent is also trying to persuade Terra to take in the darkness or something. I don't think Terra's being evil here, I think his smile is hinting that he's gonna betray Maleficent soon. ;)

 

That's what it looks like to me. Either that or he is about to fight Maleficent because she has already started messing with worlds with the darkness. But hey that's what I think.

 

Or maybe something happened to Ven and only beating Maleficent is the only way to help him.
