I was going to upload a KH music video on Youtube and I had a copyright notice. It said like "this video may have some content that is used by an owner."" "WMG copyright notice" I can't remember exactly what it said, but I took the video off anyway. Have you ever had anything like this before?
Try doing this: 1) Go to "My Videos". 2) Select "Resolve Copyright" on the video you are having copyright issues with. OR, go to the video itself and choose "resolve copyright" from there. 3) Scroll down and pick the option "I want to learn more about this dispute process". 4) Scroll down and pick the option "Take me to the dispute form". 5) Pick option #2 and PASTE the following statement into the text bar next to it; "Copyright Disclaimer Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for "fair use" for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research. Fair use is a use permitted by copyright statute that might otherwise be infringing. Non-profit, educational or personal use tips the balance in favor of fair use." 6) Fill out the rest of the info on the page. Use your REAL name where it asks for it. Choose "Continue" when all information has been filled out. 7) Scroll down on the next page and select "Submit dispute". Within 2-3 minutes your video's audio should be back
That is confusing.... I already deleted the video, but I could reupload it. Roxasvsriku, here's the question when you said, that I could use it for purposes such as criticism, comment,news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research, how is loading a AMV either of those. It sounds like I could be copyrighting either way. Can you help me because it is too confusing. Please prove me wrong if you are right.
An amv fits those categories. I've used this meathod on several videos of mine and it brought the audio back. It's not guaranteed to work but it's always worth a try.
I've had this problem before and the easiest thing to do is what RvR said. And a video can be used for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research. Youtube doesn't have people who watch every singe video that's uploaded and some videos can be used for educational purposes. After all, some of my teachers use Youtube videos to show us parts of an educational film and such. You may be using it to upload AMVs but other people may use it for other things.
