AMV help

I'm making my first AMV and i really need some help. See, i cannot make the amv stop when i want it to. I can't understand how to do it. I save it to my pc but it continues after it is supposed to be finished showing a black screen. I hope you can understand what i'm saying. (Oh, and if this supposed to be in the video warehouse, i'm sorry and please move it)

 

Hmm... that's odd, alright. What program are you using? And what does it continue with? Is it still playing the music, or just black screen going on and on?

 

WMM. Well, remember i told you i was using Sephiroth's theme as background music? It's about three minutes, but when both the vid. and music stop this just continues, showing nothing. I don't know how i'm supposed to stop it.
