zaris said to himself........

 

Mr. Wheeler could not help but think of night as he walked with Nikkie. Of course, she was the god of night, as she had revealed earlier. So, it made perfect sense. Her demeanor was just like that of the night, cool and mysterious. Mr. Wheeler had to admit, she was interesting. He couldn't tell how powerful she was, but if she was powerful enough to tell Zaris off, she was probably pretty strong. And best of all, she was at least willing to have a decent conversation. Most of the new gods were too arrogant to talk to Mr. Wheeler, even those below him. And the old gods... well, they all hated him because he was a new god.

Mr. Wheeler was brought out of his reverie when he realized that they were nearing his car. It was a Red 2004 prius.

Mr. Wheeler unlocked the doors. "Well, this is my car. I know it's not much, but it's more fuel efficient. Plus, i like playing with the computers and stuff."

 

So Mr Wheeler was one of the new technology Gods. Nikki smiled, he would definitely be a new God then. She sensed loneliness in him, and wondered if like her, he didn't quite fit in. She had no fear of the old Gods, but would never feel comfortable with them. They were cold, arrogant and violent.

"That is a beautiful car Mr Wheeler, is it a hybrid synergy drive car? They are very much the car of the future."

Nikki thought that Mr Wheeler was obviously proud of the car, and felt this was more than pride of ownership. She was beginning to understand where he got his worshipers. It would also explain why he was not so violence based. She began to like him.

 

zaris ran around in the night jumping on buildings........

''*sigh* this is troublesome theres no grave yards here *sigh* ........''

zeke then saw a motorcycle show........

''hmm? darkness and lots of it plus a really cool motorcycle sweet^^''

zaris then whispeed into one persons ear..

''y'no that guy over there is hitting on ur wife he wants tto take her home with him ur gannah let some guy like that take ur wife?''

then the guy attack the man with a knife.......

''lets see *puts on a blak glove* if u thik pandora's box caused havoc u havent seen nothng yet...**puts hand on the ground* HOVAC SCATTER!'' then the glove dis appered and everyone in the area started to brutally fight.......

''hmph tha motorcycle is mine''

the motorcyle was black and red it was a speed type........

Zaris then drove of into the night with the motorcycle

''hehehe now i can ride in style.......''

 

Nikki sensed the mayhem that Zaris was causing and cringed. The stupid idiot was at it again. He would soon be destroyed if he continued to behave in this manner. If he continued to put them all in danger, she would have to act.

She took a long midnight blue cloak from her bag.

"Forgive me Mr Wheeler, I will be back shortly. Please wait for me."

She put the cloak on and spread her arms. She seemed to float up and grow. As she passed darkness fell, as the sun set and night ruled. Shortly she returned.

"Forgive me, but I still have the occasional duty. People can sleep in peace now, apart from those poor souls tormented by Zaris."

She rolled the cloak up and put it back in her bag.

 

Zaris was rding the night with his motorcycle.........

''hehehehehe I wonder how nikki is doing hehehehe lets see were she is......hmm? having dinner with mr wheeler?''

then zaris ran full speed to were wheeler and Nikki was......

 

Nikki was looking forward to the meal with Mr Wheeler. He was so different to the others. Zaris was the last person she would want to spend any time with. He was cold, arrogant and cruel. Nikki had seen enough of his type, and destroyed some. She wanted someone to fight with, someone who appreciated her skills. Zaris was a relic of a bygone era, a museum piece. She found him boorish.

 

occ: whao u make me sound so cruel y'no u should be a bad guy.....

then zaris poped up from behind Nikki..........

''hey ^^ where u goin?''

 

"What's it to you? I mean, aren't you having fun causing chaos? What I do is my business, and I don't answer to you."

ooc: never said I'd be an ally, and Nikki responds to how she's treated and what happens.

 

''c'mon u can be at least a little nice to one of ur family members and besides its like u said my way of caseing war is kindah old....''

 

"We're not family, just from the same Pantheon, and your old method of causing war is putting everyone in danger. You have no subtlety. I don't feel safe with you near, and you've already threatened me. So don't pull the family thing with me. I'm having a quiet meal, and I expect it to stay that way."

 

''why r the good guys always to scared that when the bad guy comes peacefully u guys thinkwe're always up to something?.........besides I kno this isnt my style but I came to apologize for earlier..........''

 

"You apologise? Oh Zaris, you are learning at last. Perhaps I am being too harsh on you. I have learned to survive by being suspicious. Forgive me."

Nikki held out her hand, the way this had been done to her earlier, and hoped Zaris would understand. True, she had never taken the time to actually get to know him, and with the Pantheon as peers, it was no wonder he had no idea how to behave in the modern world. Nikki realised Zaris probably needed help if he was to survive. He was like a wreckless teenager with unlimited powers. She should really help him, but would he accept it.

 

''*shakes nikki's hand* yea well im apologizing cuz i kindah messing up ur date but ill still do my job as the god of war anf cause havoc but I just dont like fighting family y'no......''

 

"My date? We're just going for something to eat and a chat. There are easier ways to wage war you know, that are less likely to get you killed. I'm not waging war on you, family or no. I'm trying to survive, just as you are, just as Mr Wheeler is. I'm not going to attack you for no reason. Why don't you come and sit down and have a civilised meal with us."

 

Mr. Wheeler was perfectly familiar with dissention among the new gods. Mr. Wheeler was something of a black sheep among the new gods. Most of the new god wanted to wipe out the old gods wthout mercy or remorse. And it wasn't that Mr. Wheeler hadn't obliterated one or two old gods In his time. It's just that he didn't like doing it. He preferred a peacful approach.

Speaking of peaceful, nikkie seemed to be taking a while. I should probably ask if there's anything i can do to help, Mr. Wheeler thought. He started in the direction Nikkie had gone, hoping she was alright.

 

''how can we try to survive when we're immortal and nikki u cant fool me u love that wheeler guy dont u?''

 

Nikki walked up to Mr Wheeler and smiled. "Thank you for waiting. I met up with Zaris on the way here. Don't worry though, he was surprisingly civilised. I herald the night, it's one of my duties. Peace then descends on the world."

Nikki followed Mr Wheeler. He seemed so nice, and not like the violent cruel new Gods she had met in the past.

'Zaris, I know you can hear my thoughts. No, I hardy know Mr Wheeler, I'm just enjoying being treated in a kind civilised manner. Try it sometime, you may be surprised.'

 

Mr. Wheeler led Nikkie back to his car. "Let's get back to the car before anything else happens," Mr. Wheeler said in a joking tone. "Are you alright?"

 

"Yes thank you. Unfortunately sometimes Gods have trouble getting on, if you know what I mean."

Nikki got into the car and looked at Mr Wheeler. She sensed that he did not seem totally at ease, so she gently send calming thoughts out, hoping he could read them. For some reason she kept getting the feeling that she could trust Mr Wheeler not to harm her, and she was beginning to relax.
