zaries got some nachos for him and wheeler then he threw the nachos and wheeler.........

zaris cleaned him up then walked away with a plate full of nachos ^^

 

Mr. Wheeler cleaned the nachos off his coat as Zaris walked away. Mr. Wheeler could think of about a thousand horrible things to say to Zaris to make him even angrier. However, that wouldn't help the situation. So, he just dusted himself off and walked into the kitchen. "Thank you", said mr. wheeler to Nikkie, bowing his head slightly.

 

Nikki glared at Zaris. "Don't ever do that again! Mr. Wheeler is my guest, and I held his hand. It was not the other way round."

She tidied up and apologised to Mr. Wheeler. She was now embarrassed by Zaris's behavior. He was behaving like a spoiled child to her guest.

 

Mr. Wheeler accepted Nikkie's apology with a smile. "I think we both know he means well. He is, after all, your brother."

 

"Technically we're not related. I'm the daughter of a Titan, and much older than him. As we're from the same pantheon, I think he believes I'm his sister. Sometimes it's best to humour such delusions. Anyway, it seems to control his temper around me.

What would you like? There is bound to be something here for you?"

 

"No matter the reason, he's trying to protect you. And i just need something light, like fruit or something."

 

Nikki smiled and got out apples, oranges, nectarines and grapes. "I also have salad if you want some." She was angry and embarrassed by Zaris. She hoped that Mr. Wheeler would realise that he was staying here for safety, and not that she actually was from the same family. She had prided herself in her independance, and did not need an adolescent war god to protect her.

 

zaris walked out side and got on his motorbike.......

Nikki grinned. "And I wasn't even aware you could read!" she teased. In reality she was worried about him. The new gods would be beginning to gather now, so the streets were a dangerous place to be as an old god. She hoped he would return soon. She even missed his jealousy of Mr. Wheeler. Nikki secretly found it quite endearing.

From the sound of it, Zaris had left. Mr. Wheeler wondered where the hell Zaris would be going at this time of night. Could he be trying to cause even more trouble? Or was he just sick of seeing Mr. Wheeler. In the end, Mr. Wheeler decided he didn't care. It probably wasn't any of his business anyway.

 

"Zaris keeps his own hours it seems, he never sleeps and is always restless. I am more worried about you attending this meeting. Media has spies everywhere, and probably knows you're here. I'm sure for every god like Saule that she sends face to face there are at least a dozen more in the shadows, out of sight. I wouldn't be surprised if she doesn't know exactly which old gods are present in the city as well."

 

"You know, you can never tell with media. Sometimes she has spies, and sometimes she just gathers the information for herself. And she's damn good at it, too."


MR. Wheeler thought about the way media got in contact with people. IT never ceased to bother him.

Nikki noticed that Mr Wheeler looked uncomfortable and wondered what frightened him. She noticed him glance to the office area with the computer. Was that ws upset him. It was turned off and disconnected. Nikki wondered just how far this Media would go to get the information she wanted. She was obviously not above using other gods to do her bidding.

 

Mr. Wheeler quickly got a hold of himself. After all, media was probably busy at this point anyway.

Mr. Wheelr looked at Nikki. "I don't know. I know one flaw of media's: She's overly arrogant. She definitely has influence, but she underestimates many of the old gods. I'm sure Zaris will be fine."

 

Saule woke up in a cold sweat from dreams of oil and Indiana Jones. Saule looked over at the clock, it was a little past 3:00.

"2 hours . . . that is just great," Saule thought aloud. Try as he might, Saule could not get back to sleep. Saule stood and went over to his makeshift kitchen and heated himself up a can of soup.

'This is really f*** up' Saule thought, 'Maybe I should not have agree to work for her, maybe I should have worked for the nerd, at least he is not as smart as her and has flawed information. Of course, those were the factors that made me decide on Media instead.'

It was then that Saule noticed the letter that had come though the hole in his door, apparently while he was sleeping. Saule picked it up and read it. He then smiled, at least he had one friend. It was a letter from zephris, the wind power goddess, his "sister" saying that she was in town and would like to see Saule before the meeting.

"does everyone know where I live?" Saule asked to no one in particular, and shuddered think of what it would be like if that were the case. Saule needed to clear his head and decided to go for a walk.
