Saule pushed play on the VCR, and . . . began watching Indiana Jones. Saule liked the movie , it had a lot of scenes out doors, and was not surprised when after about 5 minute "Indiana" began talking directly to him, of course it was not Harrison Ford, it was her, Media.

"Did you find Wheeler like I told you?"

"Yes."

"What was he doing?" 'Indiana' asked with a winning Harrison Ford smile.

"At the time that I found him or before then?"

"Whichever you think is more important."

"Neither is really any more significant"

"So, throw me a whip here, did Wheeler betray us not?"

Saule thought for an imperceptible moment. Saule suspected Mr. Wheeler of something, he did not know what but he suspected him of it.

"No." Saule said with conviction on his face but not in his heart.

"Okay, since you are not going to tomorrows meeting I will inform you of some things. The first is that the old gods, according to my intelligence (which I have a lot of), the old gods are becoming more organized. Second, I suspect that it is someone who is uniting the old gods. And third, if you compromise my position with the other gods there will be consequences. No 'environmental activism,' are we clear?"

Saule said something so cliche that he had to suppress a cringe, but he knew she would eat it up, "Crystal."

"Good now ENJOY the movie, there are milkduds in the fridge, and remember I can kill you at anytime." 'Indiana' then kill a man. Saule knew her words were an order and went to get the milkduds.

 

Nikki knew that Mr. Wheeler had to attend the meeting, though she wished he would miss it. It seemed that the new gods suspected him of something, and he had admitted that he was no fan of their leader. He had not however, said or done anything to betray the new gods.

Was this Saule an assassin or merely a spy? He may not be so sure of his loyalty. She would ask Mr. Wheeler about him, and maybe she could talk to this Saule on neutral ground. If Zaris could be reasonable, then perhaps this Saule could as well?

 

Mr. Wheeler chose to ignore Zaris's remarks.

"In essence, Media controls the city of LA, but her influence spreads much farther than that. In the heirarchy of the new gods, she's damn near the top. I honeslty don't know how she got there. Whatever she did, she became really powerful. And if she finds either of us, we're worse than dead."

Scythe (though he uses it because it's in popular culture)-Serves as an amplifier for the "Sin Harvest" ability as well as a weapon. Forged from the fires of the Underworld.
Colt Paterson-Ever heard of execution by firing squad? This is where it comes from.
Butcher Knife-Classic homicidal maniac standard weapon.
Fire Axe-Used by fireman for rescue. Also used for redrum purposes.
Hook-Famous urban legend, it's from the Hookman.
Mirror-A portable prision for ghosts, phantoms, and poltergeists. May also be used for a well-known summoning by chanting a certain title three times.
Abilities:
Sin Harvest-The ability to take another organism's soul.
Penance Stare-Forcing the victim of this power to feel the pain of what they have inflicted on others throughout their lives.
Necromancy-A form of black magic to call upon a spirit, comtrol zombies, revive the dead, etc.
Hellblaze-Super strong fire spell which is effective on even those resistant to flame.
Seven Sins-Purgatory in life, if they can survive it.
Four Horsemen-Sends the Four Horsemen of the Apocolypse into someone's soul, effectively crippling the spirit.
Death Penalty-Transports a damned soul to face their judgement.
Weaknesses: Eros, his counterpart, can cancel each other out.
Alignment: Old

 

"She seems to already be spying on you, so we will have to be careful. She is probably controlling Saule which would explain his behaviour. No doubt she is aware of our presence, but I doubt she knows who we are yet. We need to keep a low profile while the meeting is in progress. Will you be safe there?"

ooc: Two death gods. Could be interesting!

 

"I don't know. I don't think she's controlling him. He's definitely in her employ, but his behavior would be about ten times more blunt if she was actually controlling him.

And i'm pretty sure i'll be safe there. If i know media, she's constantly worried about appearances."

Mr. Wheeler hoped he was right.

 

"I've heard there's another old god on the way here, one I'm less likely to be able to talk to. I'm worried this time. I don't know much yet, other than he's another death god, like Jon. You may find yourself facing him, and I hear he is merciless. Please take care. I may be old and respected, but I think this one is beyond my reach."

Nikki did not feel that she was betraying anyone as she told Mr. Wheeler about the new arrival. She was unsure about him herself.

 

zaris then appered...........

''*sigh* Im the bad guy and Im helping good guys........Nikki I just sensed a new god dont kno if hes good or evil.........''

 

"I have a really bad feeling about this one Zaris. You're not a bad guy, but I think the newcomer is. He's an old god of the true death and destruction kind. I wonder if he was sent here because of the meeting? Don't try to fight him Zaris, I think he is very powerful."

 

''hey sis! how long r u going to underestimate me? Im not a little kid y'no!''

by being the god of war Zaris was itching to fight.......

 

"I don't underestimate you, but I won't fight him either if I can help it. There is a hierarchy among the old gods, based on power. The death gods are generally near the top. The only one who I am confident could successfully face him is Jon, another death god. Don't you know the hierarchy in the war?"

 

''yea I do hes a soul reaper, I killeed one of those b4.......and when I killed her........hehehehehe *eyes turned red* that was when I knew wat war waqs truely about''

Zaris then went outside with tears falling down........

 

Nikki followed him. She put her arm round him. "What really happened? You are upset. Life is never that simple."
