Then next time we go on vacation I'll convince my parents to go where you live. Also, I know this is probably a bit personal, but which level of autism do your brothers have? I'm curious because my mo works with people that have developmental disabilities, and I have Aspergers Syndrome. So it's neat that I'm not alone.

They used to be pretty severe. Like I said, they're almost completely non-verbal, and they have really bad meltdowns every once in a while. However, they are improving. They've found a method of communication that works for them (grabbing your hand and taking it to what they want) and eye contact isn't a problem for them anymore. And my mom is 98% sure that they can understand us and could probably talk if they wanted to, but they just don't see why talking is so important.​

Sometimes I wonder what my purpose on this site is. I mean yeah, I have this whole cookie thing going on, but I'm starting to think the only reason I still appear cookie obsessive is because that's the only reason people notice me. And I don't like being ignored. But even with my cookiliciousness, I still get ignored.
