Well those weren't the kind of sissy pastries you find in Europe. No these are hardcore Maghreb pastries. They are hard yet sweet, and glazed in a special honey recipe you can't find anywhere else. They are made out of grounded nuts and pastry paper, and so hardcore, we only have them with our coffee. And also, we have actually have coffeetime instead, with tea only a couple times a week.
