Why wouldn't a computer with Windows not work with Windows Live?

When I try to install Windows Live Messenger, it doesn't install it.T-T

Ok. First, you click the link: http://get.live.com/messenger/features

Click "Get it Now"

Choose your services, then click "Install"

Click "Run" on the windows that pop up.

Follow the instructions in the install.

If you need anymore help, just ask~

(I would have done screen-shots, but I'd have to uninstall it from my comp first...)​

That's weird. What version of windows do you have? (95, 98, XP, ME, 2000, Vista?)​
