Are you trying to use windows movie maker to record?

I use the sound recorder thing that comes with windows...

Start >> All Programs >> Accessories >> Entertainment >> Sound Recorder

Oh yeah. That usually sucks.

Just make sure to have the minimum amount of videos imported. Having too many causes it to lag and eventually freeze. :sideways:
