i played kh2 first and since i never used to play rpgs the concept of changing weapons never occured to me. I found out when I went to hollow bastion for the second time and i switched to oathkeeper but never switched again until i started a new game

I never really had a problem with that. Kh2 was my first RPG I think but I never had the problem of changing keys. Then again, I did look at the start menu a LOT, so seeing the items alwasy with new and my OCD, I probably figured it out that way.

I never really had that problem. KH was my first RPG to. I just selected different things until I found out how to change my keyblade.

I had that problem with kh1 and kh2 *facepalm* I completed the whole of number two using the kingdom key and number one I played half way through and realised. When I realised I threw a fit at the game -.-U.

From memory, I think I got up to the Aladdin world and was struggling to defeat any heartless, so went into the menu to see if anything could be changed and noticed that was still using the original keyblade, I think that's right, it was years ago and your memory can play tricks on you. xD

Yeah! I played KH2 before KH, and I did the same! - I realised right at the end just after the epic battle alongside Axel xD

I was the same way when I first played Kingdom Hearts. I found out I could change keyblades when I kept losing in Olympia. :D

I always knew you could, but now, while I'm playing CM, I'm using KK for the entire game.

I actually read the game booklet before playing KH2 cause on the ride back home I had nothing to do so I knew how to change keyblades and when I finally found KH1 I already knew how . . . does anyone else read the game booklet or am I the only nerd here . . .

I did the exact same thing and Kingdom Hearts was also my first RPG.

As for all of you who made mistakes, this is what happens when children play RPGs, lmao

I started with KHII and it was my first RPG since... I don't remember what came before it but there was a good number of years in between, but when I started playing I knew you could change the keyblade, then bout ten minutes after playing as Sora I forgot. It wasn't till the battle with Luxord in TWTNW, where I had died many times, that I thought "Now might be a good time to change my keyblade."

LOL I can't say that happened to me. That's really funny! XD But I am impressed with what you did, because I can guarantee I would never be able to make it as far as Hollow Bastion using the Kingdom Key the whole time. You've obviously got skills! :D

EDIT: Wow, I didn't realize how many people all had that same problem until now. I'm not a hardcore gamer, very picky (I only play KH, FF, and a few other games), but I now feel like a natural at RPG's since I had no trouble with equipment, and KH was my first RPG... No offense to anyone else. I still say you guys got skill for making it as far as you did without switching Keyblades. :P

I knew you could change keychains but not abilities. It was before Aladdin's world when I finally realized abilities. I was like "look! He can roll!" After that I made him dodgeroll all over the place instead of run. Useful against Jafar.
Then it was gone in KH2 :'(

Are you kidding me? I beat KH1 without changing equipment because I couldn't figure out how.
