Who is anticipating the live action Avengers movie?

I mean Live Action Iron Man, Hulk, Captain America, and Thor all in one movie? It's a formula for an amazing flick. Plus I'm waiting for the seperate C.A. and Thor movies themselves first.

Please tell me i'm not alone in my anticipation...

    YES.
I can't wait to see all three of these movies; hopefully they'll be worth all the hype.

I've been watching information on this movie via a friend for some time. Hopefully it'll be good but with Captain America being played by the Human Torch things could get weird if they ever make an Avengers and The Fantastic Four movie if rights get passed about. And if that does happen I hope they use a similar plot to the comic book series where the Avengers and The Fantastic Four team up to fight the heralds of Galactus

So far it's looking good, hopefully the Thor and Captain America movies are good and the final Iron Man movie that's predicted to come out after The Avengers will be too.

I've gotten all my info about this from my amazing father and since Thor's gonna come first (end of the credits for IM2 show it!) i'm more focused on that.

Part of me is honestly waiting for The Avengers meet The Fantastic Four just to see how bad they screw it up (or make it awesome). And I can't wait to see if they do anything with Asgard and Logi (I think that's how you spell his name) or if it just starts with him landing on earth. The writing for these movies better not disappoint, that's all i'm gonna say.

EDIT: OMG!!!! Iron Man 3!?!?!?!? WHAT A WIN!!!!!! My inner RDJ fangirl is screaming for joy into her pillow with his face on it. XP

Hell no you aren't. I've been waiting for this for quite some time, especially once I saw Hawkeye<3

I was worried about that, too. But I doubt having the Fantastic Four meet Captain America is such a high demanded request (although one of Cap's first allies was the original Human Torch...oh ****, I just made myself hope for a Namor film).

Not to mention Thor's mystical nature with the tech based Iron Man and everything else.

    Loki*
and yeah, but Disney wants to distribute it themselves.

Speaking of Iron Man 3, Mandarin will definitely be the bad guy, but just like with Thor, it's hard to put something mystical against Iron Man unless they make his rings tech-based and not magical.

I remember reading about how they couldn't come up with much for the Mandarin in the first movie, but they managed to place one of the Ten Rings in (the burnt bald terrorist had it and was playing with it at one point... I watched Ironman a few times in a row after I got it on DVD >>). So I think Thor might be a test run of how it could work with Thor interacting with machinery and science while being a clear supernatural force.
Then again, the Mandarin's Ten Rings are alien technology so that could be an easy excuse that it's "unexplainable, but The Mandarin somehow managed to figure them out".

Hmm... well that's a nice way to hint towards him so early on. I never thought much of that tiny little ring at first glance. Can't wait to see what they come up with story wise and HOW he and Mandarin first meet.

I' m eager to see that movie for one reason : Joss Whedon will write and direct it and I' m a huge Buffy fan. I expect a funny movie ! ^^

Here' s what he said about it at a comicon panel :

Moderator: Joss, superhero comics, comic books of all stripes—very important to you. And now you are now directing probably one of the most eagerly anticipated superhero movies ever, The Avengers. Is that true?
    [applause]
Joss Whedon: That is not an official thing, because I think Marvel couldn’t afford, like, a press release. So could I just make that an official thing? I’m directing The Avengers!
    [applause]
Joss Whedon: It’s just a gig, you know?
    [laughter]
Moderator: Were The Avengers a big part of your comic book reading when you were a kid?
Joss Whedon: Yeah. They were one of the first books. When George Perez was drawing them, they were on Counter Earth, it was a big deal for me, yeah.
Moderator: Joss, is it too early to talk about what your take is on The Avengers? Even if you could just sum it up in a line?
Joss Whedon: I have to have a take?
Moderator: Yeah! It’s helpful when you are a director to have a take on it.
Joss Whedon: OK. It is a little early. I am still writing an outline. I am still in that stage of reworking, reworking, reworking. I will say that the thing that I love about it, the thing that made me excited to do it was just how completely counterintuitive it is. It makes no sense. These people should not even be in the same room, let alone on the same team. And that, to me, is the very definition of family.
    [laughter]

Pal, it's been every Marvel fan's dream. I'm certainly looking forward to it, it's just too bad they couldn't get Edward Norton to come back as Bruce Banner.

I hope Joss Whedon doesn't get screwed over by the network again.

I am liking this though. I love the animated TV show, I liked Iron Man and the Hulk, I loved Thor, and I know I am going to love this. <3

"Even if we can't save the world, we'll sure as hell avenge it."
    Fuck yes, Iron Man!
Stark will get some funny-ass lines in this movie~

This trailer is amazing. It shows all of them together, and how they'll act with each other. I can already tell that Captain America and Tony Stark will have their moments.
