i like both of his sides. when he is bad boy axel it is soooo coool. but when he is goody two shoes its still ok bc he can be a good help

 

I totally agree with you Madi. He is so sweet in KH2, he betrays the organisation just for Roxas and dies helping Sora. I was sooooooooooooooo mad at him when he killed Vexen and got Rikurep to kill Zexion >.<

 

I like him in both games. He's like me. I am usually pretty nice, but sometimes I can have an extremely evil side that no one would expect, LOL! I guess it's sort of reversed for Axel, usually evil and stuff, but sometimes nice... Anyways, I'm sure you get my point.:p He's just all-together awesome!

 

In KH2 axel's super cool.I don't like him in COM

 

I like the evil people in most things because I think they are cool but when they get like Axel was in CoM then I begin to dislike them but I played KH2 before CoM so liked the Axel in that. He's not evil in KH2, he's good just misunderstood at times.

I do like both sides because they develop his character. In fact, i think its what makes him a great character that a lot can relate to.

It just tends to make me angry when people choose one side over the other.
That post completely swayed my opinion ^__^

 

I liked Axel during CoM.

He was more kickazs.

 

I liked him in both games, but I do like his nice side better. Maybe having Roxas around the castle made him more warm and brotherly?

 

Er, well I can see how you'd like his mushy side in KH2, since he doesnt kill anyone and tells Sora how he feels about him and Roxas *shudders*.

And I can also see how people could like his KH:COM side since he betrays the Organization, uses Replika Riku as his pawn, kills Zexion, and trys to kill Marluxia. So, basically, in KH:COM, Axel is totally bad ***.

Now, I'm not too sure which one I like better.

Well, I never really expected Axel to have a nice soft side. He was cool back when he was cold, but I liked it more when he showed his soft side, especially his feelings for Roxas. xP

 

The only thing that really bothers me about Axel, and it's not really Axel, it's people that think this, is how people think that there was some yaoi relationship between Roxas and Axel. They were BEST FRIENDS! Would you really expect him NOT to want to find him, and care about him, and he makes Axel feel like he has a heart?

I don't think there is any yaoi relationship there.

Sorry if this was off-topic. It's about Axel, at least. And his "soft side" in KH2.

 

But like...

He's in the Organization in CoM, the thought of leaving the Organization never even came across his mind yet.
I always thought the Organization was the bad, bad, evil side.

And, I might be wrong here, but I thought evil meant ruthless, sarcastic, mean, and cold-hearted?

He wasn't all nice, sweet, and friendly to anybody else but Roxas.
He was only nice to Sora because Roxas is Sora's nobody, as you know.

 

I really liked Axel in KH2. I had a feeling the whole time that he wasn't really bad. I knew he just wanted Roxas back. But I was very sad when he died... Still think he should've lived.

 

I liked Axel in both CoM and KH2. His actions in CoM made a lot more sense to me after seeing KH2 and I don't really divide them into 'good Axel' and 'bad Axel'. He knows how to survive and was underestimated by both Vexen and Marluxia in CoM and came out on top since both were doing their things. His getting rid of Zexion and also playing the wild card saved his existence, and killing Vexen for trying to tell Sora things about Roxas would preserve his friend and also be in the interest of the Org plans. Once Roxas left the Org, Axel had choices to make and went back and forth debating and finally admitted that Roxas was the one person he could not just 'follow orders' and kill, not because he was better but because he was someone Axel truly cared for. So really, I don't divide them up as I see it more as a development of character and a change in how he was willing to go beyond the normal Nobody ideals. Axel didn't have a heart but was probably the closest Nobody to having any desire to get one or at least a pseudo-one through friendship, and not how the others were going about it. Demyx was the other I could see that probably wasn't as bad, but had to do what he did out of necessity.

 

I actually noticed that...he has harsher talk and actions, like his attack on Vexen.

Lol, I actually liked Dangerous Axel than Sweetheart Axel. I guess I'm attracted to bad boys. X3

 

I hated him in CoM, he was too mean in it, I didn't like it.
