Alvin and the chipmunks the movie

The original actor who played Dave, Alvin, Simon and Theodore (Ross Bagdasarian, Sr.) died a long time ago. Then his son (Ross Bagdasarian, Jr.)became the voice actor for Dave, Alvin and Simon while Ross Jr.'s wife (Janice Karman) played Theodore.

Ross Jr. is also the one who's producing this movie in the first place and will still lend his voice as Alvin. He would've played Dave as well, but he's getting pretty old. So, they hired other actors to play the other characters. One of them, just happened to be Jesse McCartney. Maybe it's the voice... :sweat:

Edit: Looks pretty awful. Too bad my pop wants to see it. Says I need to watch some modern cartoons for a change...

Ahahahaha Jesse Mcartney (sp?) is in it XDDDDDDDD That makes me laugh and kinda die a little inside.

 

I burst out in the cinema when i saw his name at the start. People just looked at me.

The movie wasn't as bad as i thought it would be. I laughed at many points throughout the film, all that involved the Chipmunks. All the scenes that didn't involve the Chipmunks were dull.

It wasn't amazing, but it's a good family movie. ^^

 

Well it was entertaining at times but sometimes dull.

Not as crappy as I thought.

 

I think the movie went to far when it showed Jason Lee. Does this once great actor now have to do this?!

I saw it. It was cute. My sister loved Theodore. She thought he was so cute.
I found out that Roxas voiced Theodore.

 

I heard that the movie got some nice reviews. I wonder if it's really worth seeing...

 

Was forced to see it with family. Holy crud, what an awful movie. So painfully dull and unfunny, and the CGI is some of the ugliest I've ever seen.
However, given that it was no worse than anything else coming out today, I was'nt too frustrated. ; )

 

I thought the movie was cute, but it is so annoying how youtubers have just sped up some random song and call it Chipmunk version with a pic of the chipmunks
