I don't know if this makes a difference to you guys, but you know Jesse McCartney's playing one of the Chipmunks in this one, right? Theodore, I believe...

And the guy who produced this movie was the original voice for Alvin from the TV series (and plays him in the movie, too.)

(Yeah, I know this thread's a few months old, but the movie's coming out soon and I didn't want to create another thread if there's one already posted.)

Personally, I'd just watch it for the novelty. If it's a one-shot deal...oh well. At least it'll give me something new to watch.

I'd actually like to watch it...the trailer for it was just so cute, and it reminds me of the stories I write about talking hamsters...

.....all I know is....they better not touch Pinky and The Brain, Freakazoid, and anymore of my favorite childhood shows; though I wouldn't call Alvin and the Chipmunks my fave...I watched it for the hell of it. x3

This movie is an example of people running out of ideas...

    Failure.

my best bet for the actor would be jim carry. he plays somewhat of a charcter like that in the mask.

anyway, i noticed this (because no one i know about knows it but) the song alvan is singing in the dishwasher is "don't you wish your girlfriend was hot like me?"
    lol!!!

Yeah, maybe Jim Carrey could play Freakazoid.. if it were still 1994. =_=

As for this abomination... NO. The commercial is bollocks. It's just not the same as the old cartoon. :/

    AND WHERE ARE THE CHIPETTES?

Kinda bad enough they're doing a movie about this in the first place, right? Doing the Chipettes in the same movie is kinda like kicking a dead horse that's been sitting for 4 months. It'd be overkill.

Still, Roxas' voice actor as Theodore. Kinda makes you wonder how much they paid him to do it... :xp:

I am not going to see this movie, even if someone payed me to do it.
    I might have nightmares.

ROFL!!!!!! that is funny, they probably had to pay him with food pelets so he could get into charecter.

    Theodore is the keyblade master.

Seriously could they not get the old actor?
