Arianna was up and about pretty early, she'd always been quite skilled good at at getting out of bed when she wanted to, well at least for as long as she could remember at least, which really wasn't saying much. Either way, she was able to make her self get out of bed and up relatively easily. The previous days events seemed like a dream, it had been so surreal, had she really helped stop a bank robbery? Wow. Yet she knew she had and she remembered it all at least for now. She walked over to her calender and tenderly touched the day, 31 days previously. She read the scribble saying what she'd done but she knew try as she might, the memory of it was simply not there. She then what she'd written 30 days ago, with a sad smile, she remembered but by tomorrow that would be gone. She quickly wrote all she could fit in the small box about the bank robbery yesterday before moving away.

She turned her computer on and set it to play some youtube videos while she made herself breakfast. Her eyelids flickered and she probably learnt some new skills but she wasn't paying much attention to what she was learning. Her mind was back on the shooting, Thallen had been shot in the madness and she really wanted to ring and check if she was okay but the only number she had was Rosalie's. Were they going to meet up again? She wasn't sure. They had to now, they couldn't just leave it at that, could they?

Either way, she couldn't just sit around and do nothing. She'd head out and go by the bar, if Rosalie or anyone was in then she'd meet them. If not she could do her shopping and get her life in order. That sounded like enough of a plan to her. She quickly grabbed her coat and stuff, making sure she had plenty of cash to shop with considering she didn't even own a bank card as far as she was aware. She set the alarm and locked the door behind her before running down the metal stairs and out onto the street, turning to walk down it with a smile on her face.

"H-h-h-i... I'm um... My name is..."
    x
Teagan listened to the jumbled mess that came immediately after and she slowly opened up the door until she caught "Victoria", Teagan blinked and opened the door fully so she was fully visible in the doorway, "Um, are you okay? Do you need a glass of water or something?"
    x
Teagan bit her lip because Teagan was probably more nervous than the girl in front of her, "Um... did you say your name was... Victoria?" Teagan crossed her arms a little shakily as she looked inside her house as she heard her cousin yell.
    x
"TEA~ Who is at the door?"
"Go back to bed Cin, it's not for you."
    x
Teagan chuckled nervously as she held her throat, "Sorry I didn't mean to yell right next to you um, do you um..." Teagan did not know what to say after that and rather motioned with her hands in a slightly awkward way asking if she wanted to come into her house.

This one was tricky. They had already collected addresses of most of this group expect for this one, all they had was that she walked through this street on her way to the bar yesterday. Only through luck did she run into Arianna when the girl took the route she was checking out at that time. This was good, since she was not fond of the local tracker. Way too skittish, that one.

They almost passed each other but the blonde reached out to stop Ari, making sure to do so gently so they would not start a fight here. And a bad first impression would be useless. "Excuse me," she said, her voice void of emotion, "could you spare a moment?"

Victoria nodded at both of the first two questions, being unable to find her voice now. She even actually felt like crying from embarrassment, though no tears were visible. If only she considered that running away idea more seriously.

Too late now though so she decided to just enter the house. Maybe she could get this done with quickly so she could go home and hide for a few hours before watching a movie to hopefully forget this ordeal. "C-can I...we...sit?"

Teagan watched the girl walk in and had walked into her kitchen quickly to get the girl... Victoria? A glass of water, then she walked back over to the girl in time to hear her speak.
    "C-can I...we...sit?"
Teagan moved about a bit nervously as she spoke, "Um, yeah. Follow me."
Her living room was a half nightmare. Teagan had pretty much taken up residence on the couch most nights and a lot of papers and plans were all over the place because just the other day Teagan had dropped a box of old blueprints in her living room, but was too busy to pick them all up. She handed Victoria the glass of water and moved her papers and blankets off of the couch.
"I-I'm sorry I don't usually have g-guests." Teagan continued to stand because she waited for Victoria to sit down.
"Now, what were you um, saying o-out there?"

The glass of water was taken with a smile form at long last and Victoria down it pretty quickly once she was seated. Doing so allowed her the time to calm down without the pressure of needing to speak any so for that she was grateful. Once finished, however, she could only place it on the nearest table and look at the papers around her for a stall, which was a bad one.

"T-they look neat..." Though she hadn't the slightest clue to understand the blueprints. "And I don't mind, honest."

Get to the point, she told herself, can't keep the others waiting forever...

"Out there? O-oh... Um... I work for Red Flag... W-well, not work for. No one really works for it, we're equals... Well, maybe not m-me... It's a... It's a group. All alphas. Wait, we were supposed to confirm if you're an alpha first or not..." she grimaced at her mistake. "Are you...an a-alpha?"

Teagan sat down just a bit after Victoria had sat down. She listened to her speak, she seemed a bit more calm at that moment. Teagan raised an eyebrow at it until it got up to the alpha part where she internally wanted to run out of there and go home. But she was already home.
    x
    "U-um..."
    x
She didn't know if she wanted to answer this question... were people after her and if she said she was an Alpha she was going to be arrested? Teagan started shaking as she stood up.
    x
    "I-I-I'm sorry I-I will... I will... I will be right b-b-back..."
    x
Teagan meant to walk out of the room casually but instead she found herself running out of the living room and into her workshop. She pressed her hands down on the desk that she had recently cleaned off and was looking at a picture she had drawn of Project S.I.M.O.N. For some reason though it was not calming her down like it usually would.
    x
Teagan rubbed her temples and One had hopped to her sensing her distress, "No One you can go back it's fine... if fine I am okay... I am okay... okay..."

When Teagan had ran out of the room that feeling to cry returned. She was so awful at this that surely her life would remain running errands for the others until her brother gave up hope for her improving, in which case she would be- A shiver ran up her spine. She couldn't even think about that. It was too awful. Dying would be so much better than that.

Marking this up to be a failure she left her personal card which had a blooming blossom on it and her number, though was otherwise blank. It was far too vague in this situation, she thought, and so she found a blank piece of paper and pen so she could write a note.

After reading it over she frowned at all the crossed out words but the thought of redoing it was way worse as she just wanted to go home now. So she set the card and letter on the table before exiting the house.

Teagan picked up One and put him in the place he usually charged up. By that point Teagan had calmed down and felt bad for leaving Victoria out there alone. She felt even worse for having run off. She walked into the living room as she spoke,
    x
    "I'm sorry about that I-"
    x
Teagan noticed the girl was not there anymore and she felt her stomach tighten with guilt. She walked over to clean up the glass of water of Victoria's and her eyes caught the note.
    x
Teagan sat down on the couch and picked up the note. She kicked up her feet on the couch as she read through the note.

Vergil did what he normally did to start the day. Tossing and turning in his bed for a few minutes before actually getting up. Once that was done, he grabbed himself a bowl and made some cereal. Most days he would skip breakfast, but he figured why not actually eat something today. Still It was a pretty quiet morning for him. Not that he didn't like it quiet, it just that there was such a thing a too quiet and not the horror movie kind of way.

"Excuse me, could you spare a moment?"
Arianna stopped and looked around, her body instinctively moving into a defensive position. She wasn't quite sure how to react to somebody suddenly talking to her, and when she was so close to her flat as well. However looking around it appeared to be a young girl in a huge massive sun hat, who didn't look threatening at all. She knew appearances were deceptive but she was being way too cautious. She didn't normally have that reaction to people talking to her. She was being silly. And anyway, she'd only asked for a moment of her time, she could be asking something like directions. Ari smiled, if she was asking directions, she'd unfortunately asked the wrong person.

"Oh hi, um, sure I guess. How can I help?" She rubbed her neck as she looked at the girl who had spoken to her, wondering what they could have stopped her for. She was pretty sure she didn't recognise her at all, so she maybe wasn't from this area?

It bothered him greatly that he was sent out like some dog to fetch someone comparable to a stick, as it was hardly worth his time. This person was probably weak and stupid, yet he was forced to put on a smile and act nice while talking to the boy.

Hopefully he could at least get this over with quickly. And with that thought the boy knocked on Vergil's door.

Oh, good. The target had stopped and replied, and without aggressive tones. Even if she could be aggressive herself, whenever not apathetic though that was rare, she had formed quite the disliking to rudeness. Especially when she is being polite.

Though how she defines polite is probably different from most. Either way the blonde continued, expression and tone unchanging.

"You have quite the problem with memory, don't you? Wasn't sure if that was true or not, not until now anyway." She paused. She had already thought of what she thought was the best way to handle the situation but sometimes plans do no go as they were meant to. Thinking and applying were so different after all. "We were allies, yet you look at me like a stranger."

"I'll be fine, really. There's no need to go through so much trouble. I can get home on my own."

Nick shook his head and moved behind Thallen, giving the wheelchair a light push. He waved at the doctor without saying anything to the man. "I can't force you to let me drive you home, but you can't force me not to let you go home alone. Just..." Nick paused as they entered the elevator. "Let me make sure you get home safely. Alright?" The elevator started on its way down.

    ~~

    "What is it, Nick?"

"I can't explain it. Um..." The teenager crossed his arms. "I've always been smarter than everyone-"

"Yeah I know." The girl sighed out and smiled at her brother.

"No! I mean...you know, how when you're in P.E. and the coach makes you run laps or play a sport? You can't focus on much else other than what you're doing, can you? Like say...math. Or a book you just read."

    "You're confusing me." She frowned.

"What am saying, is that I thought it wasn't normal."

    "Normal for...?"

"Forget it. Too hard to explain."

    ~~

The doors to the elevator opened the instant after the voices in his head faded. Nick wasn't sure why that memory came to mind, it was something that wasn't too important. It was the first time he had tried to explain his ability to his sister. He never brought it up to her again. Even today he had difficulty articulating his ability into a way that could be understood by others.

"Good morning," he started, his voice flat and tired, as his green eyes scanned the two thoroughly, "my name is Vincent Simmons and as I've come to understand the two of your were involved in the robbery yesterday and, thanks to some internet sources, you were also the heroes of the day."

There was someone waiting for them. Nick didn't recognize the man and, judging by the fact that he had to introduce himself, neither would Thallen. Nick raised an eyebrow, his mind already at work on figuring out just who this man was. This "Vincent" character was definitely not part of the FBI. He couldn't be a cop either. At least, Nick was sure he wasn't. 'CIA? But they don't deal with these kinds of things...what he's that blogger Chris told me about? No. More likely that this guy read that blogger's...blog.' The man mentioned something about talking later. Nick had no response for that. A headache had already begun to grow. 'I didn't even push my ability that far!' He lifted a hand to rub his temple and breathed deeply.

Other memories were beginning to flash through his head. Less pleasant ones this time and with greater detail. No. It wasn't random memories. They were all linked to one event. The time his sister was nearly- "How about I call you? Alright?" Nick pushed on Thallen's wheelchair, knowing full well that he had not even taken any personal information from the man. He figured it was better that they didn't start making friends with people who were so nosy. Of course, Nick was an exception. It was his job. This man however...well, Nick's FBI-senses started to tingle and when that happened, it meant it was time to leave.

The knocking on the door did surprise Vergil slightly, mainly because not many people knew where he lived. Still he got up from his seat and went to open the door. When he saw the man standing on the other side, he just stare for a quick second before asking. "And you are?"

"I'm your fucking house keeper, can't you tell?" Oops, this wasn't exactly a great start. He tried laughing to pass it off as a joke and smiled at the other male. "Really poor humor, my bad. I'm Alex, a reporter, for a magazine all about fire starters. Want to tell me your story?"

Vergil gave him a confused look at his attempt at a joke. It didn't work, especially since he's seen his house keeper before. "What magazines all about fire starters?" That was the most curious thing he said, or at least what stuck out the most to him.

The moment she mentioned memory, Ari's body tensed and suddenly she had all her attention on this mysterious girl. Did she know her? She didn't recognise her but if she had known her and had forgotten then there was no point trying to remember, the memory would be gone. Half of her was really excited to find out all she could from them, she had so many questions. Yet at the same time, starting with that note made her uncomfortable, she didn't like people knowing about her curse and she didn't tell complete strangers. It now felt like this girl had an advantage over her, she knew her problem and possibly a lot about her but Ari knew nothing at all about the girl.
However the next line was even more of a shock than the first. They were allies?? She used to work with this girl? Doing what? More and more questions seemed to fill her mind as she registered it. There was also her choice or words, 'Allies' not 'we worked together', you don't use that word in normal work that sounded more like superhero or war stuff. Fighting. They used to fight together? What was going on? She tried not to give away the chaos of questions erupting in her mind but just looked at the girl, trying to figure out anything she could.
"I'm sorry but what did you just say? Who are you? We worked together? What do you mean?" She was aware that she probably just confirmed the fact she had memory problems but that couldn't be helped, right now all she wanted was answers.

The guy's expression made Alex wish he could punch him there and then. That would be so much easier than talking to the bloke. "A new, overlooked one. Fire Starter Weekly. We really love the people who can start fire with their bare hands and footage from the bank says that's you. Is that true?"

This is where most would smile as they realize they have the upperhand. But something like that didn't matter to her. It was unimportant in everything but life or death situations. Even then she wasn't sure if she ever cared if she died. After all the afterlife could be loads of fun. No one knew. Though not knowing has made her to be sure she would always come on top from those situations, if presented to her.

    Anyway, moving on.

    "
Andrea. Shall I say nice to meet you? I know you but you don't remember me. So I'm unsure." Idle chit chat. Apparently that was a thing others wished she worked on. "We were both in Red Flag together, working alongside other Alphas for human rights. The government doesn't even want society to know we exist though. Aren't they awful?" She didn't actually have an opinion on them despite working for a group who hated human government, or at least quite a few members did. Still, she couldn't say most. Most, to her, was at least 80% which wasn't the case. Though she only knew 60% of the group. So only 60% were counted. "You left for a reason I'm unaware of. Maybe it was too hard with your memory, though they wanted to help with that... So maybe not. I don't know. They wish you'd come back with me."

Red Flag? That was strange, it seemed kinda familiar, normally when she forgot something she couldn't remember it at all. Unless she'd seen that name in the last month, but she couldn't think where she might have. Did that mean Andrea was telling the truth? A human rights group for Alphas, that sounded good enough and she could understand why she would have joined them. Although, that seemed to imply Alpha's didn't already have human rights, surely they must have, all humans had a right to them after all. Also the society knowing about them, seemed a little bad but she wasn't bothered about that, she was more than happy for the world not to know what she could do and the problems she had as a result. After all, even when she used it it wasn't obvious what she could do so it just made her look more impressive, not a simple copy-cat. However, she would have had different memories when she joined before, so maybe she had her reasons for thinking differently and joining. Though the fact she'd left made her wonder too, she wouldn't have left for no reason so why did she?

All these thoughts whizzed round her head leaving her not knowing what to think. She had so many more questions but didn't really know what to ask. "Really? Wow. Okay then. Wait, do you mean now? Like go with you now? Um, I'm sorry, you've given me a lot to think about. Do you mind if I go get my head in order and get back to you? I will probably want to find out more but right now my head is a mess and not much use." She apologised again, looking at Andrea. The girl seemed very deadpan and serious, did she really hang about with her?

"Naturally," Andrea said at Ari's request to think it over. While it would have been nice it wasn't expected for the other to go with her right away. She could only hope for a reply before the memory of this day faded away, for it would be annoying to do it all over again. However, if it failed, a second try wouldn't be all bad. Either way she handed Arianna a white card with a phone number and sunflower behind the numbers on it. "A call would be nice when you've made up your mind. Even if you haven't a word within the week will help us know how your decisions is coming along, so I can decide if I can leave the state or not. I suppose I can also answer anything else, now or later. Is this all for now?"

Knock. Knock. Knock. Ross was disappointed that he of all people was sent on such a silly little task. The only good thing about it was that the girl who he happened to be sent to owned a bar. The very bar he was knocking at. It didn't look like it was open for business. Ross crossed his arms and waited impatiently at the door. "Open up. I need to have a word with you." He tapped his foot against the floor. There were plenty of others who were less important that could have been sent. 'Guess they're all too incompetent to do speak. Figures.'
