Teagan picked up One and put it in her bag before she left. Her blue phone? She didn't care what happened to it at this point. She still had her money for Rosalie, but she had this urge to just go home.
She didn't make it far before she had to make a statement. And she wasn't doing well with the cop infested atmosphere.
Why do you all care what I have to say... is it so you can just take me away like I'm some sort of criminal? Admittedly, I did do things wrong... and now someone I don't know well at all is in the hospital...
Teagan didn't go look for others, she went home and went straight to her workshop. She pulled a beer out of the fridge and drew out a blueprint for a new idea she had, but kept eying the project she had been working on for a couple of years now.
Project S.I.M.O.N... it can wait until later...
She finished her blueprint and got straight to work.

Thallen snatched her phone out of Nick's hand as they loaded her into the ambulance. The paramedic shot her a dirty look as she started to dial a number on her phone. "Ma'am, I'm going to have to ask you to pu-"

"Please! It will only take a minute." The paramedic gave her a stern look before busying himself with her leg. She tapped on her phone until she reached the recent calls and dialed Jesse's number. Her eyes darted to Nick briefly before drifting around the cab of the ambulance. The phone rang four times before he finally picked up. Thallen took a deep breath to calm her nerves. Her stomach was in knots and pain jutted up her calve. Between the pain in her leg and the migraine raging in her head, it was hard to focus.

"Are you on your way back?"

"N-no. I need you to keep Cecilia for the night. I won't be able to make it back til tomorrow."

    "And why is that?"

"It doesn't matter. Just be a good father for once. Please." She pleaded with him. He was an infuriating asshole.

"Fine. Whatever." He hung up without another word. Thallen's head drooped and she sighed sadly. She motioned to the paramedics that she was ready to go, albeit, reluctantly.

Nick watched as Thallen called...whoever it was that she called. It seemed like the person on the other side of the line was giving her a hard time. Then there was the mention of someone named Cecilia. 'Who's that?' Naturally, he figured it would have to be family. What kind of family would have to be looked after though? 'Wait...' It was as if he had lost a hundred IQ points in just seconds. He heard the word. It just didn't click. Thallen didn't strike him as the person to-

"You have a daughter!?" He asked in a hushed voice to keep from embarrassing Thallen in front of the paramedics. Though, now that he thought about it, it wasn't necessarily a subject to be embarrassed about. "Why didn't you mention her before? I would have-"

Thud! The doors of the ambulance closed. It was stuffy inside. Nick wasn't claustrophobic, but he wasn't fond of being in the back of the cab either. He had been there before when he had been shot. He thought of going back to get his car to follow Thallen to the hospital, but that would have taken too long. Still, it wasn't comfortable being stuffed in there either. "...I would have never have involved you if I knew." If anything worse had happened to Thallen, he could have made her daughter motherless. The heavy feeling returned to his chest. He crossed his arms and looked down, sighing out heavily.

Arianna watched the Ambulance take Thallen away with Nick, she just hoped so badly that she'd be okay. She'd barely met these people and already this had happened. Well they were certainly interesting to hang about with and they were like her. They had powers but they weren't perfect, they all had their own issues and problems and in a way that made her like them more. Admittedly, even though she barely knew them, they were already the closest friends she had. How sad was that? Either way, the group had split now and after briefly talking to the cops, she'd managed to get away. Everyone was going now so she figured it would be best for her to head home, she hoped they'd meet up again soon though.

It didn't take her long to get back to her place, it wasn't far away. Where she lived was fairly hidden and from the outside did not look very impressive, the opposite in fact. However, up the stairs and getting inside it was completely different. She owned this flat (there was a note on the fridge informing her she owned it completely and did not have to worry about rent or a mortgage). Although she did not remember buying it or how she managed that. The flat itself wasn't massive but it was well furnished and had everything she needed, plus a few things that she probably didn't and had no idea why she had. She'd obviously spent a lot of money on it, plus she had quite a lot of money in straight cash that she had no idea where it had come from. The place was a mystery to her. It had clues about her past that she could not piece together. Yet at the same time there were no clues about other things, almost as if she'd made sure she'd forget and wouldn't remember. It was so frustrating not knowing anything.

However it was also a relief, it meant she didn't have to worry about a lot of things. She'd organised herself with bills and everything, leaving detailed instructions so she wouldn't have to worry about forgetting. She had a place to live, with hot water and electricity, as well as money. She just wish she remembered her past, she'd forgotten her family and all her past friends. Her entire childhood, nothing. Her mind was blank. She was lonely, if she had friends she could not remember them.

However, she did not worry about that, she was preoccupied with the days events. She thought about the days events through the remainder of the day, coming to terms with it and sorting herself out. Needless to say when she slipped into her warm cosy bed, she drifted off to sleep pretty quickly.

"You have a daughter!?" He asked in a hushed voice. She cocked an eyebrow at him.

"Well you don't have to say it that way." She pursed her lips in frustration. This is exactly why she had not said anything at all. None of them appeared to be parents. They wouldn't understand.

"Why didn't you mention her before? I would have-" Thud! The doors of the ambulance closed. It was stuffy inside. He paused for a moment. Where was he going with this? "...I would have never have involved you if I knew." He crossed his arms and looked down, sighing out heavily.

Thallen rolled her eyes and groaned as the driver went over a bump in the road. The pain shot through her leg, momentarily deterring her thoughts from the migraine. "I'm pretty sure I did," she said flatly, remembering the conversation earlier where he insisted on accompanying her. "I told you I hope you're good with children. I thought it was pretty obvious." She crossed her arms but the paramedic set them back to her side. The IV tugged on her hand, so she had no choice but to listen to his demands. "For being so smart, you seem rather obtuse." Her greens eyes narrowed on Nick as the ambulance pulled up to the hospital. "I chose to help with your plan knowing fully well that I have a daughter. There is no need to blame yourself. The only one to blame is me and I'm relatively fine. Only a--nhnn--flesh wound."

As it grows late in the evening the setting sun sends an orange light out which become filtered by the blinds before falling on to the blogger's face. They sat at their desk, happily mumbling to themselves. What a wonderful day it had been.

This thing, this computer, was not needed but used anyway. They typed well into the night, first from the entry then to the replies, most of which called her crazy and a stalker if she went through with trying to find out their 'powers.'

You see it happen all the time in TV shows and movies but it never crosses your mind, or at least it never crossed my mind, that a simple stop at a bank could turn into a robbery. And yet that very thing just happened to me this afternoon. However this story has a little twist most shows don't have.

There were these people, probably superheroes, who totally saved the day. One has the power over fire and another controlled a bunch of robotic rabbits.

I'm not sure about the others. It was hard getting a good look at them, even with the security tapes, probably because they had to be covert with witnesses and all. I'm going to find out more about them though and use this blog to keep track of my findings!

When Thallen brought up the fact that she had said something about "being good around children", it never clicked that she had implied she had a child. As time passed in the hospital, Nick explained to her that he thought she had originally meant that she had younger siblings. He was the oldest of four. His sister was two years younger than him and his two little brothers(twins) were turning 8 this year.

So yes. Yes, he was good around children. Even though he rarely spent time around his family anymore. All this might have been a lot to share with someone he only recently began to speak to, but it was a good way to pass the time. Plus Nick felt that he owed Thallen some explanation over his own life considering all that happened. Talking to someone and getting to know them felt like a nice change of pace. "You know, I'd actually like to see her. Your daughter. There's this game I used to play with my brothers where I'd-"

Bzzt! Nick reached into his jacket and pulled out his phone, raising an eyebrow when he checked the number. "Hold on a sec." He spoke as he answered the phone.

"You weren't involved in that little stunt at the bank today, were you?" It was Chris, longtime friend and partner to Nick.

    "Why?"

"You'll never believe what I just found. Some blogger just posted a story about it claiming super heroes intervened."

"Super heroes? I'd hardly say that."

"Uh-huh...Well, a girl was shot during that whole incident. How's she doing?" It was obvious to see that Nick didn't hog all the brains between the two. Regular people could figure things out too.

Nick glanced over at Thallen. "She's fine."

"You didn't play hero just for a girl, did you? I'm not sure about you, but getting a girl shot is definitely a bad way to make a first impression."

"Right...tell your wife I said hi." Nick hung up without another word before his partner could try and tease him further. It was bad enough Nick had so few friends. Having his partner poke fun at everything he did wasn't any help. Still, it was all in good fun.

"Sorry about that. Partner of mine called and said that someone out there is calling us super heroes." Of course, Nick decided to leave out the rest. He didn't handle embarrassment well. Guns, he could handle. Bullet wounds, he was completely fine with. Social issues were...an issue.

"You know, I'd actually like to see her."

Thallen lifted her head curiously. "Hm?"

"There's this game I used to play with my brothers where I'd--" he cut off at the sound of his phone. That was disappointing. She was now rather interested to hear what he had to say. "Hold on a sec," Nick spoke as he answered the phone.

Thallen watched him with vague curiosity. "Why?" he asked the person on the other end. She wondered what the caller might have said, but found it too rude to ask. The pain in her head and leg slowly began to dissipate as the pain killers took control. The doctor had removed the bullet from her leg and stitched up the hole. "Superheros? I'd hardly say that." That piqued her interest further. She wasn't sure she had heard right. Must be the pain killers. Thallen thought to herself. She rubbed her eyes and blinked a few times before returning her attention to Nick.

Nick glanced over at Thallen. "She's fine." Was he talking about her? How did the conversation segue into her? Thallen locked her green eyes on him in confusion. "Right... tell your wife I say hi." Nick hung up without another word.

    "Everything okay?" she asked.

"Sorry about that. Partner of mine called and said that someone out there is calling us superheroes." So he did say superheroes.

Thallen rested her head back on the pillow and stared at the ceiling thoughtfully. "Superheroes," she mumbled softly to herself. She had never thought of herself in that manner. Superheroes were people to be proud of. They were respected and rivaled. Did this mean they needed to start going around dishing out vigilante justice to all that opposed? She smirked at the thought. Her pale pink lips turned upwards into a smile. If only it provided some sort of compensation. She couldn't provide for her daughter if she was busy beating up bad guys on the streets. "If only that were true," she said softly to herself.. Her expression grew more solemn and the pain killers were beginning to make her feel drowsy. "I wish I could be a superhero, then I wouldn't have to worry." Thallen yawned and her eyes drooped shut. She glanced up at Nick once more before nodding off into a drug induced sleep.

"Good night." Nick figured that those painkillers Thallen had taken earlier finally kicked in. She seemed to be happier about the whole "superhero" comparison than he was. Nick sat still for a few minutes in silence. Regardless of what the others had thought, the whole bank fiasco had gone terribly in his opinion. They weren't superheroes. If they were... 'She wouldn't have had a bullet cut out of her leg.' He pulled his phone out again, just to check on the time.

'What now?' Visiting hours were over but he had pulled a few strings to stick around just a little longer. Actually, he didn't have to leave. Only an empty apartment awaited him. Still, he wasn't sure what kind of rules there were for staying around someone you had gotten shot. Was it weird to stay all night? Was it rude to leave and not be there to get her out of the hospital? As Nick was about to put his phone away, the screen lit up displaying a single text.

    Come home.

It was from his sister. Nick breathed in deeply and looked back over towards the sleeping Thallen, mulling it over. His partner must have told his family what happened. 'But I'm not the only one with family waiting on me.' Nick left the room quietly and closed the door behind him. He made a call.

"Hey, I'm fine. ...Yeah. No bullet holes in me this time. I'm not Swiss cheese." Yelling only came from the other end of the line. "Come on. I'm sure the twins would've thought that was funny." Nick sighed. "Tomorrow, okay? I promise. This is important." He paced back and forth outside the door, making sure to keep his voice down even though it wasn't likely he would wake Thallen up. Not with that much painkiller. "Love you too, sis." He hung up and stuffed the phone back in his jacket. Nick looked back towards the door. It was going to be a long night.

Soon after the ambulance had left, Vergil did the same. He didn't see a point of sticking around any longer. The robbery was over and only Thallen had gotten injured, that part was stuck in his head all the way til he got back to his place. It was in the exact same condition that he'd left it. Maybe he would clean off some of it tomorrow, right now he just wanted to get something to drink before heading to sleep. He went over to his fridge and pull out a sprite, though only half of it was drunken before it went back into the fridge and Vergil headed to sleep.

After thanking Jed for his good work with cleaning up the bar Rosalie retired to her apartment upstairs where she began her nightly routine. It involved a shower, dinner, and a marathon of whatever series she was into at the time. And while the show kept playing in the background the brunette drifted off into a deep slumber. Her dream consisted of the day's events, however the robbery did not go as well in the dream as it did in reality.

The masked men entered the bank, the doors turning into bricks behind them. This prevented Vergil from even entering it afterwards. Jeff was killed the moment the vault was unlocked. They were separated after that, locked in individual rooms. Gunshots were heard from the room she was in with the cat masked robber and she could only assume everyone was being killed off.

Expecting the same fate she looked up to meet the eyes of the robber just as he removed his mask.

    "Dad?"

The wrinkled face of the older male twisted as his lips formed a smile and he handed her his gun. "Leave this world the way you made me leave."

She no longer had control over herself as she lifted the gun, finding it suddenly turning into a pistol. The gun was pointed at her temple now and her eyes began to fill with tears. Was this how the ones she controlled felt? So helpless... Vulnerable. It was awful.

Then, as her finger started to squeeze the trigger, she closed her eyes and waited for death. However she found the morning instead when her eyes shot open, soon to be burned with the light falling on to her face from the window above the couch where she slept.

Once finished gasping the blanket was thrown off and Rosalie sat up. How stupid of a dream, for her father was not even dead. Not as far as she knew, anyway. She never even met the man, only knowing how he looked from old photographs and her imagination for a more present day appearance. He probably did not even share her power.

So while cursing herself for such stupidity she worked on erasing the dream from her memory as she made and ate breakfast. It had been done pretty successfully for the time she made her way downstairs all that remained was the man's face. It was there, disturbing her every time she even blinked, but she fought to ignore it as she unlocked the bar in case anyone decided to come over. It was still too early for it to open, and even though she only went along with it for the sake of the others, Rosalie couldn't wait until it was ready.

In the meantime, though, all she could do was work through its stocks and research the web about running a bar. Starting with the latter she sat at the bar with her laptop, scrolling through some pages.

Thallen opened her eyes as a nurse was checking her vitals. All seemed to be well and they would be sending her home soon. Home... Home was a nightmare. She didn't care to go back there, nor did she care to bring Cecelia back there. However, there was really no other choice. The place was cheap and rundown. The bills were piling up; now there would be an additional one to boot. She sighed heavily and propped herself up on the bed. At least her head didn't hurt. That had to be a plus. Granted, that was all do to the pain killers they were giving her for her leg. Thallen glanced around the room, seeing that Nick wasn't there. Maybe he had gone home after she slept. She would have probably done the same thing.

The nurse asked her what she wanted for breakfast from a small menu and left the room to go fetch it for her from the kitchen. She picked the cheapest meal on the menu, which still wasn't that cheap, given that it was a hospital. She really couldn't expect much else. Thallen played with her hair while she waited. All she wanted to do was get out and get her baby home. She didn't belong at Jesse's house. That place was no home to raise a child in. She hated bringing her daughter there. Every time made her cry. The empath only wanted to give her daughter the best she could. She wanted to provide for her the way she hadn't provided for herself.

Nick rubbed the back of his neck, feeling sore from last night. A chair wasn't the best place to sleep. Of course, he hadn't stayed in Thallen's room. Sleeping there would have been...weird. He had checked on Thallen when he had first woken up and when he saw that she was still resting, he had decided to take a walk outside.

He hadn't intended for it to be such a long stroll but it was early when he first left. Not to mention he had gotten sidetracked with something that he thought to bring to Thallen. As he headed back into the hospital Nick waved at some of the staff that had to put up with him earlier. They weren't so enthusiastic to greet him but that was probably just because they had the graveyard shift. Probably. 'Then again, I shouldn't dropped that one nurse's coffee.'

Finally, he reached Thallen's room. It was empty save for her. Nick pushed the door open, keeping one hand behind his back as he entered. "Good morning. Sorry I wasn't around when you woke up. I needed a stretch and thought I'd..." He trailed off and scratched the back of his head, thinking of how to beat around the bush. It was easier starting something than it was to finish it. "It's not every day you get shot and it was depressing that no family of yours came to visit so..." Nick cleared his throat and left the gift had hidden behind his back on Thallen's lap saying, "I got you something." as quietly as possible.

As the door pushed open, Thallen glanced up. Nick had entered the room with one arm hiding behind his back. What was he hiding? She cocked a brow in curiosity. "Good morning"

    "Morning," she replied happily.

"Sorry I wasn't around when you woke up. I needed a stretch and thought I'd..." He trailed off and scratched the back of his head. Her eyes stayed locked onto Nick's movements. What was he up to?

"I-it's fine. Really," she assured him.

"It's not every day you get shot and it was depressing that no family of yours came to visit so..." Nick cleared his throat. He felt guilty? How many times did she have to tell him that it was all right, and it wasn't like she really had any family to come visit. Granted, she never would have told any of them to begin with. They didn't understand her. They never have. He dropped the teddy bear that was hidden behind behind his back on Thallen's lap saying, "I got you something," as quietly as possible.

Her hand flew to her mouth to conceal the scoff that was ready to escape. It was so ridiculously silly and sweet at the same time. Don't laugh. "pfft," I said don't laugh. Dammit! Thallen began to chuckle quietly behind her palm until she couldn't contain it anymore. When she finally calmed herself, she rested one hand on her abdomen and the other on the bed railing. "I'm sorry. It's just--" she took a deep breath still trying to get a grip, "no one has bought me a present in a very long time. Thank you. It's sweet, really." She picked up the teddy bear between her hands and lifted it up to her face. "I think I'll let Cecilia name it. she'll love it."

The doctor came walking in with her file and a few papers on top. "Dispatch forms," he said to her as he set them down on the table by the bed. "We just have to get these babies filled out and then you can be on your way ma'am." He seemed sweet throughout everything. That was a bonus.

"Thank you doctor," she replied and took the pen he held out for her.

"No, I think you misunderstood me hun, I can't make it talk to you... yes I get that but... no, why would you want it to? It's a hammer! What do you want me to make it say "stop, hammer time" every time you hit something? No sir I don't... okay... no. It... Sir I am not in the mood to argue... No... no... yes... why pink?"
    x

Teagan rubbed her eyes as she put the finishing touches on her all night project with her new yellow phone in between her head and shoulder. At the same time she had a notebook out and was drawing out a plan and notes as the man on the other line spoke. Eventually she stopped working on her project and stopped writing and held it up.
    x

"Wait... let me get this straight... you want me to build you a hammer that when set to speak tells you the type of material you are hitting, having it set to a strength based on the material, and have it pink so you can give it as a birthday present to your... daughter? Sir have you ever heard of barbie dolls?"
    x

Teagan sighed as she sketched out something small and spoke, "I cannot have it speak... do you really want to know why?" Teagan rolled her eyes as she took a sip of a beer on her work table and spoke, "Talking A.I. requires a special chip that works almost like a brain to be able to have it create the words needed. These chips tend to not only take between one to two weeks to a month to create, but they also have unpredictable effects."
    x

She was silent as her face held a look as though she couldn't stand the conversation and she ended up hitting the table, "How would you like your hammer to walk around and dominate the place? ...sir that was a rude response on your part. No. Okay how about this. I enable a screen that lists the most abundant element and it sets based on that? A much shorter time than talking A.I... modify all you want when it's in your hands."
    x

She took another sip of beer and spoke, "Two weeks... materials add up though... okay... you are busy? Then another time to discuss price? Tomorrow. Fine. Have a nice night sir... what it's daylight? Well then have a great day."
    x

Teagan hung up the phone and shifted to her red phone and opened up an app, "Order 202137, Pretty Pink Princess Hammer, two weeks allotted time. Price yet to be discussed."
    x

She closed it and heard a soft noise in the background and sighed, "Cin?"
"Ay... I wasn't even close to you."
    "Don't you work today?"
    "Don't you sleep?"
Teagan turned her head and watched as a blonde girl in high heels walked up slowly and fell on top of the table and giggled, she sat up as she spoke,
"I just got home... partied all night long. Met a man who liked me for my brains and not my body... met a nice man for you too..."
Teagan had her head tilted down as she was working on something, "Doubt it."
"Awww Tea... he's a shy guy and he's got a nice set of eyes, and arms, and..."
    "And what?"
    "Nothing..."
Teagan sighed as she turned to her, "Cuz, I already know where this is heading."
"Anyway, I am moving out next week."
    Teagan's eyes widened, "What? Why?"
"I found a nicer place. And we finished paying mortgage on this dump last month."
"This "dump" is our grandma's home, show some respect."
"Whatever, you can handle yourself I assume." she got up off of the table and struggled to walk away, "They won't miss me at work today...."
    x

Teagan blinked as she clapped her hands together, "Wow that was done fast."
She set each of the objects in front of her. 6 watches. She had done basic modifications on them overnight and that was what kept her awake.
    x

She wrote down a quick little note for each of the objects.
    x

Based on the events of yesterday, I notice we tend to get ourselves in... difficult situations often. Now, one of our biggest problems last time was communication. This is technically a redone project of mine that is popularly used amongst certain organizations. I plead the 5th to whoever asks which. If you ever need me I am always the red button next to the number 3.

Nick raised an eyebrow, watching as Thallen very obviously tried to stifle her laughter. 'Maybe it was a stupid idea...' He started to wonder if he should have brought something else but that thought soon went away when it was apparent Thallen actually liked the gift. He smiled, glad he done something right.

"How old is your daughter anyways?" He asked curiously, shifting his attention over towards the doctor who entered. Even more good news. Thallen was ready to be released. It was faster than he expected but that was probably due to the fact that it wasn't such a serious wound. The soreness in his arm returned as he remembered how it had been for him. That was messy. Nick rubbed his shoulder, thinking over how worried his own family had been at the time. With both their parents gone, it was up to him and his sister to take care of their two little brothers. 'Well, mostly her...'

Nick moved over to lift the stuffed bear, looking it over as he gently squeezed it. "I was worried you wouldn't like it. There's not really a set gift to give someone for something like this happening." Now there was only the question of whether Thallen's daughter would like it. Though, it would probably make the girl happy. Stuffed bears always made children happy. Nick didn't understand it but there was something about them that just clicked with kids. 'Holding this bear is starting to make me want one.' He placed it back down on Thallen's lap before he started to get the temptation to play with it.

"Oh. While I was out, I moved my car over here so I could give you a lift. You can't exactly walk home."

"How old is your daughter anyways?" Nick asked as she signed the dispatch papers.

"Cecelia is two." She almost couldn't believe it. She had gotten so big in such a short period of time. Thallen didn't even want to think of her little girl doing things on her own. She liked her daughter being dependent on her. I don't ever want her to grow up. She needs to stay little forever.

Nick moved over to lift the stuffed bear, looking it over as he gently squeezed it. "I was worried you wouldn't like it. There's not really a set gift to give someone for something like this happening."

She set the pen down and lifted her gaze, giving him a small smile. "It's sweet, really. Thank you. It's not every day someone gets to go home saying they survived a gunshot and stopped a robbery. It will be a great story to share in the future." Thallen lowered her green eyes back down on the papers in front of her and signed and dated wherever the doctor told her to. There were a lot of forms in order to leave the hospital, weren't there?

"Oh. While I was out, I moved my car over here so I could give you a lift. You can't exactly walk home."

Thallen scoffed and raised an eyebrow. "I'll be fine, really. There's no need to go through so much trouble. I can get home on my own." The doctor handed her a small sheet of paper with a prescription for painkillers on it. He gave her a few instructions regarding them, and she nodded along. That would be helpful not only for her leg. She swung her feet off the bed and he helped her ease her way down into the wheelchair. The doctor placed a set of crutches across the armrests so that she could get around on one foot. Easy peasy, she thought sarcastically. How was one supposed to take care of a small child when they couldn't even walk? This will be interesting. She was just glad to be back in her clothes. It was a good thing she had worn a dress. There was only a couple spots with blood on it and it was hardly noticeable.

A dark haired male fixed his tie as he waited in front of the exit for the hospital, pacing slightly from time to time. In the waiting room nearby was a sleeping white haired child, though otherwise the place was empty besides a doctor or nurse passing by every now and then. Sometimes a new patient would arrive too, but they never stayed in this area for long.

Slow day, for injuries and death.

He wished to leave, finding the task too dull compared to what he normally did but an order was an order. Luckily, though, his goals soon presented itself, one being wheeled out and the other following behind. And while most were finished with whatever they had to do as far as forms and things at this point he still gave them some time, just in case, before finally approaching them when there were just the two of them.

"Good morning," he started, his voice flat and tired, as his green eyes scanned the two thoroughly, "my name is Vincent Simmons and as I've come to understand the two of your were involved in the robbery yesterday and, thanks to some internet sources, you were also the heroes of the day."

Vincent smiled as he took Thallen's hand into both of his own, shaking it happily, longer than a normal handshake would be, before doing the same to Nick. After doing so he paused to shift through thoughts and positions a bit before speaking once more. "Talking we," he coughed, "we should talk some, if you have the time."

A burnette teenager fiddled with the pink flower hair clips she wore as she stood outside the designated location, nervously shifting her weight from one foot to the other. This was the first job she had to do on her own so she was rather uncertain if she could pull it off or not. Failure was so scary.

It had to be done though. He was relying on her, he trusted her. To let him down would be so much worse than the girl she was sent to talk to being mean. And she was just horrid with mean people.

But this had to be done. So she took a deep breath before knocking on the door of Teagan's home.

Teagan was cleaning up things on her desk before she heard a knock at the door. She raised an eyebrow for a moment at who it could be and then she froze.

    It could be the Police!
    Or a neighbor
Or a neighbor working for the police!

Teagan cautiously walked up to the door and opened up a small little peep hole and looked though to see who it was. Teagan bit her cheek slightly as she saw a brunette girl standing there. She watched for a moment as she saw the girl shift her weight in the way she would normally do herself when she was either impatient or nervous.

Teagan closed up the peep hole and opened up the door slightly so her eyes were seen by the girl, but the rest of her body was still inside,

The girl made a noise that was something between a squeak and a whimper when the door opened. She really didn't know how to handle this and it was one of the easiest jobs someone in their group could do besides get food, something she was normally tasked with. Just the fact that she was asked this scared her, even though she could have said no.

"H-h-h-i... I'm um... My name is..." after that her sentences became a jumbled mess as she momentarily forgot her own name. Then there was a moment of silence where she debated between trying again or running away. She chose trying again. "I'mRedFlagwouldyoupleasejoinVictoria?"
