The people here were acting suspicious. In fact, so much that if it were not for Beta's orders to have no causalities he would had shot someone by now as an example. It normally put people in their place. In any case he really just wanted to get out of there already, as the clock was ticking. Why, if it were not for the distractions Beta had given them the cops might have already arrived.

This was going too slowly. But luckily for the hostages Jeff returned with good news.

Smiling under the mask he went to the other male, ushering him back to the vault. He wished to complain or least insult the man but more than that was the desire to use the least amount of words as possible so no one could recognize his voice later on. Though thinking about it now it may have been too late for that...

In any case the vault was open now so this should all be over soon, they just needed to get the money. Though he only had one bag to stuff it all in so as he worked on it he looked back to Jeff. "Get one of the others," he ordered as he greedily grabbed the cash.

 

Vergil sat there with the rest of the hostages and just watch everything that was going on around him. Maybe he should've just stayed outside, it certainly would've kept him out of this mess. Still he couldn't just abandoned everyone here. Out of the corner of his eye, he could see that Nick was forming some sort of plan. Going over to hear it was risky, he'd gotten lucky when he walked in and didn't want to press it. He would have to hope for a distraction later.

"Now Teagan. Just don't overdo it." ​

She became distracted by the moment that she forgot the most important part as she activated all the bunnies telling them to hop around with a couple of them making a high pitched noise as they hopped. She watched smiling at them before she put her phone away.​

She watched all the confusion begin and ran to look for some place to duck. Some of them were hoping over heads. Within the place there were exactly 28 robotic bunnies, she purposefully kept the 2 unfinished ones home. When she found a place she saw number 7 hop by and her eyes widened.​

"Hey, you!"​

Soon after Teagan caused her bunny related distraction, Vergil turned to the nearby curtains and snapped some sparks at it. The result was exactly what Nick had planned, since the fire alarm went off soon after the resulting smoke reach the ceiling. The only thing he could do right now was to wait for whatever else Nick had planed.

He was holding the bag when all of a sudden it jumped out his hand and a robot... rabbit? Jumped out and started hoping around. He got confused and a bit ticked off by it, but it became worse as 20-30 more popped in and started a fuss.​

He knew the rabbit was that girl's. He looked around and saw her ducking down for cover.​

"Hey, You!"​

He pulled up the gun and pointed it at her, "Tina Talks-a-lot. Get up off the floor."​

Right as he said that he heard a loud noise and realized it was an alarm. But he was so confused by the environment that he thought it was a break in or robbery alarm.​

"What? Impossible?!" he said as he looked around for his partners in a panic. He at this point had dropped his gun, unprofessionally by him, and was searching frantically.​

Thallen stood against the wall watching as everything quickly began to unfurl. It was madness. This type of craziness is what got people killed. If they weren't careful they would all end up dead. They had been lucky so far that no one had been shot, but that couldn't last. The fire alarm was blaring throughout the building. Had Vergil done that? What sort of ability did he posses? She didn't have time to think about it. Robotic rabbits were bouncing everywhere. The bank was in utter chaos. People began to scream and run around searching for shelter. She was still frozen to the wall. Moving sporadically was only going to get them shot. Thallen managed to catch the arm of a teller and pull her close to her. The woman looked shocked to have been caught by someone that wasn't a mask wearing criminal. Her shoulder length blond hair was pulled back into a tight ponytail. She wore a ruffled baby blue blouse that stopped at her shoulders and a matching pencil point skirt. At some point in time the teller had kicked off her black heels which Thallen could see across the room. She pressed her lips into a hard line and looked deeply into the woman's eyes. Her's were filled with panic, while Thallen did her best to stay calm.

"Please, I need you to calm down." she said reassuringly. Her heart raced in her chest, but they would get no where if this person continued to worry. She radiated confidence both in her voice and appearance. It was hard to muster emotions she wasn't currently feeling. They always caused the worst head aches. However, it was crucial for her to do so now. "There is a silent alarm on the other side of the counter, correct?" The woman nodded. "I need you to go press that button. The fire alarm won't get police attention. We need you to push that button." The teller shifted awkwardly under Thallen's grasp, but her face appeared to light up with a new vigor. She nodded once more before pulling away and carefully making her way to the counter.

"Hey, You!" Thallen looked over at the source of the Bird Mask's shouting. Teagan. He held a gun to her and a chill ran down her spine. Things were getting bad, but then he suddenly dropped his gun and ran away. It clattered to the floor and a loud BANG rang out. A sharp pain went through her leg. She bit down painfully hard on her lower lip, unaware of the source of the pain. Her eyes drifted lower and she could see blood trailing down her calve. Tears poured out of her eyes and Thallen collapsed to the floor. The pain was unbearable. She couldn't stand any longer. Her hands shook vigorously as she tried to cover the flow of the blood. Her fingers and palms turned crimson with the sticky substance covering them. She rested her head against the wall, trying to fight back the pain. It distracted her from the throbbing in her head, but it hadn't been much of a trade off.

Arianna smiled thankfully at Teagen as she covered for her and made sure she could keep her phone, her phone was precious to her and she could not afford to lose it. She was a good actor and now she really owed her, which wasn't great when she needed to ask her a favour. She really had to find a way to pay her back somehow. Before she figured out how, she got the message from Nick to be ready for his signal. So they were doing something. This should be fun, she just hoped they'd manage to do this without anyone getting hurt. She sort of wanted to get straight in there and stop this as soon as but Nick clearly had a plan, so it was better for her to wait her turn. Plus she knew full well she couldn't take on all three, especially with guns involved.

She watched as one by one they started doing subtle little things, they weren't that obvious but put together and when she knew they were going to ask, she could easily tell they were all doing something even if it wasn't clear what. She would bet money that when Thallen walked to the bathroom with the bank worker, it was not to vomit. Ari wasn't certain what she did but by the look on Thallen's face after, it worked. The bank worker disappeared into the vault with on of the robbers, leaving just two left with them.

...And then all hell broke loose. Out of nowhere there was suddenly robot rabbits?? Must be Teagen's. As well as smoke rapidly filled the room, setting off the fire alarm, she wasn't sure who had caused that but there were gunshots and everything was turning into madness. Through it all, she was finally given the signal to fight the bird man.

She didn't waste a moment. He was already unarmed so she didn't need to worry about that. Within seconds she was racing towards, doing a somersault to launch herself into the air and come down on him feet first into his chest in order to knock him over, with such force as her momentum and entire body weight was behind it. She kicked herself off him, flipping herself back into the air to land on her feet in front of him. She paused for a single moment working out what to do, before launching into a series of quick attacks in order to knock him unconscious. Physically she just had the strength of a fit and very slightly muscular teenage girl but all her moves had perfect technique and she knew exactly where to hit to have the most effect. Pressure points were fun to use.

It was nice seeing Thallen carrying out her order as it was Rosalie's job to pass it along. A sense of pride filled her, and she happily smiled. Though it was short lived as from there things got a bit crazy. Multiple rabbits, a ringing sound, a gunshot, and fighting. This was a bit much.

Her hands shot up to her ears by the time the fire alarm went off and she found a safe spot next to the benches. Or what she thought to be safe at least. But upon seeing Nick struggle with one of the robbers the safe spot was forsaken for surely she could do something to end this faster.

She ran up to the two, falling to her knees once close enough. The mask was pulled off and thrown aside. Now she had a perfect view of his eyes. One word would end this mess.

"Sleep."

The robber's eyes grew heavy and within seconds he was sleeping like a baby. So now it seemed that all three were down. But there were still a mess of rabbits and flaming curtains. They needed to clean up this mess before the cops got here, as it would be hard to explain. Maybe she was just being paranoid though...

Either way she looked to Teagan, hoping she thought the same. "Can you send them home? Also, Vergil, the fire." It was weird, asking for something and not demanding it. Least it was in this situation. But she didn't want to push any of the others, especially not this early in their relationship.

Due to her dislike of the police she would like it if they all just left now but as she looked around she saw Thallen's injured leg. A gasp. That all she could muster now as no ideas of how to handle a gunshot wound came to mind.

She watched as the robber in the bird mask was knocked unconscious but was refusing to look in Thallen's direction. If Teagan had deactivated 7, the robber wouldn't have known they were her bunnies, and Thallen would not be on the ground with a bullet to the leg.​

​

Even so, when she heard Rosalie ask to send her robots home, she did. But she asked for One to stay with her. She retrieved her bag from the floor and crossed her arms.​

It's my fault she's hurt...​

Ari just stood there for a moment, over the man she'd just knocked unconscious. She'd done it. She'd actually done it and not got hurt. She'd been in a few little fights using her powers before but nothing like this. Well nothing that she remembered at least, from she could remember this was the first time she'd actually knocked someone unconscious. Wow. Wait, the other robber, were the others okay?? Breaking out of her trance she looked around to see the others. She let a sigh of relief when she saw the other robber on the ground but her forehead creased slightly when she saw the others crowding aroun- oh no. She quickly ran over to the others, as she realised what had happened. "Oh my god. Are you okay?" Stupid question. Of course, she wasn't but what else was she supposed to say?

She could help surely, but she hadn't seen any vids on how to deal with anything like this. Either way, thankfully Nick was taking charge of the situation. With a shaking hand, Ari took her phone out to see if she could find anything to help only to see no signal. She could only watch and hope Thallen would be okay. With a bit of luck the ambulance should be there soon. What would the police make to this mess? How would they explain it?

 

Vergil just watched as the robbers were disarm and pinned. Seemed like everything was working perfectly. Well except for Thallen getting shot. That wasn't part of the plan. Still, taking care of the fire came first so he grabbed the nearby extinguisher and put out the curtain. Looking back over to Thallen, it seemed that Nick was already handling it. Still, if anything he would help in anyway he could.

"Good...it didn't hit an artery. Someone get me some cloth!" Thallen wished to protest that there were more important things to tend to, but a woman had already rushed over with the sleeve of her shirt. Nick wrapped it tightly around her leg. "Just sit tight. You'll be fine." He assured Thallen, tightly tying the cloth above her wound. She felt dizzy- a mixture of blood loss and her power. Nick didn't sound so good. He needed to calm down. He was their leader, after all. "Don't worry. You're not going to the hospital alone." What did that mean? She had no intention of going to the hospital. She would be fine without the hospital. She needed to get back to Cecilia. What would Jesse think if she told him she was in the hospital and couldn't pick Cecilia up? The courts would eat that up. He was an unfit father, but this would make her look even worse. Carefully, very carefully, Nick picked up Thallen.

"What? No. Put me down." She had been joking earlier when she said he could carry her. She hadn't intended for him to take it seriously. "Where are you taking me?" No way was he going to carry her to the hospital. It was miles from here, or was he just carrying her outside to the paramedics? An excruciating pain ran up her leg, but sadly it took her mind off the mental pain she had been feeling. She was proud of not crying, but Thallen was barely holding it in. Nick seemed tense and it was her fault. She had been careless to stand there out in the open. She rested her hand on the back of his neck and gazed at him intently. "You... you need to relax. I'm fine." Thallen pressed her lips into a hard line. She needed to sound confident, but it was hard- not when there was such a horrible pain in her leg.

"Put me down. Please." She smiled and batted her dark lashes at him, bright green eyes gazing up at him. "I can't go to the hospital." Thallen hadn't had insurance in a long while and with Cecilia hanging in the bows, she didn't have time regardless. She winced at the pain in her leg as the steps he took sent a shock up her body.

The first thing she did when the cops came in was grab her phone and pocketed it. She thought about getting the others' phones for them but then realized it would be a hassle making sure it got to them. Besides, a cop would handle it. Seemed like it was a part of their job after all. That and questioning everyone, which they were already doing as the robbers were being cuffed and taken away. They even got the one from the vault.

One came to question her but she insisted that he already had her statement and he wandered off rather confused. It seemed foolish not to just comply, but she really disliked anyone with a badge. Not only did they ruin everyone's fun they were often not to be trusted. Something about that power...

Instead of dwelling on it though Rosalie headed outside, ready to go home now but okay with sticking around just for a bit longer to see if the others got away without any problems as well as to see if Thallen's wound was okay. Which it probably was, given how much she was protesting going to the hospital.

"I'm sorry you got hurt. But you need to get that leg checked out. If it gets worse you'll be bedridden." He paused and took a deep breath. Thallen was not pleased by this. Her head began to throb in time with her leg. "You really shouldn't be using that talent of yours to make me feel better when you're the one who got shot. ...But thanks." Despite Thallen's objections, Nick took her towards the EMTs who took over by applying a better version of First Aid that Nick had hastily done. She watched as they unwrapped his makeshift bandage and her face paled. Her leg looked nasty. She was grateful for the assistance, but still wasn't keen on the idea. Thallen rested her forehead on her open palm as they cleaned the wound and strapped her down to the gurney.

"You're welcome," she said simply.

A police officer approached the two, ready to take a statement from them when Nick opened his jacket and pulled out his identification. FBI... "Not now. Everything's been taken care of." There was one upside, she was grateful to not have to speak to the police, at least not right now. "You're going to the hospital. Besides, you're in no position to argue."

"I can still try." She smiled weakly at him. She wasn't sure which was worse- the pain in her leg, or the one in her head. "I need my phone. I can't leave without my phone." The idea of calling Jesse was horrifying. He would eat this up. Cecilia would have to stay with him for the night. Even if they let her leave after removing the bullet, she wouldn't be able to take care of her daughter so quickly. She held back the pain induced sob that was fighting to break through. It was a mixture of physical and emotional pain. The thought of going even one whole night without her baby girl was terrifying. She had only done that a couple of times so far and each was worse then the last.

Speaking of people with badges... Rosalie exited the bank just in time to see Nick flash one to the cops. She knew there was a reason as to why she didn't like the guy. This would also explain why he thought it was okay to order the others around so much. How bothersome. In fact, if it wasn't for the fact that his plan had just worked so well in there she wouldn't want to see him ever again. She even felt thankful for the guy's plan...however saying so didn't cross her mind. All she really wished to do now was rest.

And since Thallen seemed to be looked out for now she could do that so, after waving and saying bye to the others, she simply headed back to the bar. Once there she expected to tell Jed what happened then go straight up to the apartments, however when she got inside she was surprised by how clean the place looked now. Had he done this while they were gone?

"Wow..." she muttered, walking through the place for a better look.
