"Huh?", Arianna's forehead creased as Thallen grabbed her hand and the feeling came over her all of a sudden. "Woah.", she stumbled back slightly as everything seemed to go out of focus, "I feel funny..." She mumbled, swaying slightly from side to side slightly, as she tried to keep her balance but the floor was spinning and making it hard. Why was the room spinning? It wasn't supposed to be spinning. She spread her arms as she swayed to try and stay upright but somehow managed to trip over her own feet, sending her collapsing into Nick. "Sorrrey, I'm all-" She looked up at Nick and stopped, a big grin spreading across her face. "Helloooo. You're cute. Go out with me?" She asked before starting to giggle, gazing at a random empty space like there was something hilarious there she was watching. Arianna didn't normally drink that much and when she did she kept to alchopops or weak mixers so this was a completely new feeling for her.

Teagan had finally gotten her money, she had withdrawn about $450 which at that moment wasn't a good sum of her money. Most of the money she received from selling inventions went to her other ones, because she preferred high-quality materials but worked with what she could get for quick projects.
    x
Teagan turned around from the teller and saw the whole group of them, dis-coordinated and, one who she didn't remember having a drink at the bar... drunk? She tilted her head and observed the scene but didn't want to approach, not for the embarrassment of knowing them, she wasn't embarrassed at all. But because at that point she would just be standing there.
    x
There was a nice little bench right next to the door though, she decided to take a seat and pulled out her red phone and started playing a game on in. If they needed her she'd be right there, but right now just didn't seem like the best time to try and help out the group.

Nick opened his mouth to object to Thallen's refusal. She seemed a little upset by his own refusal to carry her. He could barely understand girls. Maybe she thought that he implied that she was fat. ...Which of course Nick didn't think. Even with his ability, saying the right thing to women always alluded him. Nick would have had something to tell Thallen but Arianna interrupted with her own concerns.

In no time at all, Arianna forgot that she was worried about Thallen falling over and fell back against Nick who stumbled in surprise. 'What the-?' His mind rewinded the scene from just moments ago. Thallen touched Arianna's hands, ensured her that she was just fine, then this had happened. 'That's not fair.'

"Helloooo. You're cute. Go out with me?"

"Um..." Nick shifted uncomfortably as he steadied the now seemingly drunk Arianna. "Er...I think you need to sit down." This time, Nick wasn't taking no for an answer. He pulled Arianna of to the side and sat her down in one of the nearby chairs, in a nondescript location because Arch wasn't sure where the chairs in the bank would be so let's assume they were just a few feet away.

"Stay." He ordered, as if Arianna was a dog. Hey, she was acting drunk, she wouldn't mind very much. Just before Nick was about to head over towards Thallen and Rosalie, something clicked. He had seen Arianna before. Even before the mugging. It was a year ago...

    *Queue wavy flashback scene*

'Duck, sidestep, leg sweep...' In just three quick movements Nick floored the thug he had cornered. The second one took off in another direction and his partner wouldn't take long before cornering that one. "Alright, now just tell me where your boss is and I won't have to break any of those precious bones of yours." Nick grabbed the young man's collar, yanking him back up on his feet before slamming him against the brick wall.

    "Looky who we've got here."

Nick dropped the thug and looked off to the side to see four more corner him in the alley. One of them pulled out a gun. "Whoa there. I don't think you want to be pointing that gun at the FBI." Nick raised his hands above his head, keeping his cool. All he needed to do was get closer...

Whack! The thug fell over unconscious. Arianna was standing there with a broken wooden board. It was a bit anticlimactic for a civilian to just pop up out of nowhere, but Nick took his chance to strike. He lunged forward and in two punches yet another one was out cold. He drew his gun as one of the two remaining thugs pulled out a knife, only to drop it upon having the barrel of Nick's pistol press against his head. As for the last one...Arianna pulled the same dodge and leg sweep move Nick had done earlier to knock him down.

It was only until recently that Nick would find out how some random girl was able to pull it off so effortlessly. "You didn't need to put yourself in danger." He said towards her. "But thanks. I've got it from here." He flashed his badge with his free hand just to assure the girl that he was one of the good guys. That was the last he saw of her until recent events.

As the wavy lines of his flashback receded, Nick wondered why Arianna hadn't remembered that event. He decided on bringing it up another time as he held a hand out in a motion that would get her to stay seated. "Take it easy. ...Not too easy though." He said as he headed over towards Thallen.

"Neat trick." Nick smirked as he patted Thallen's shoulder, letting her know that he knew what she did to Arianna.

"Neat trick." Nick smirked as he patted Thallen's shoulder, letting her know that he knew what she did to Arianna. She felt the hand on her and glanced up at him. Thallen gave Nick a sweet, yet slightly confused, smile. He figured it out, but she could still have some fun with it.

"What trick?" she asked, confusion etched in her face. Thallen cocked an eyebrow. "Whatever are you talking about?" She bat her long dark lashes at him. Hopefully this wouldn't take much longer. She was ready to get out of the bank, but it was surely not a quick process. There was bound to be all kinds of paperwork that had to be filled out. Since Rosalie didn't exactly set up an appointment to meet with a banker, they would likely be there for awhile. Or, asked to return a different day. "You two looked awfully chummy a moment ago." She gestured over to Ari and winked. It was an attempt to change the subject. Thallen wasn't too keen on sharing her ability. The select few people that did know about it, were always hesitant to have physical contact with her. They were afraid she might mess with them. She typically did her best to refrain from using the power, but right now seemed like a fun opportunity to experiment with it- given her company.

"Buh-but..." Ari argued but sat down when he placed her in a seat, "You suck" She folded her arms across her chest, looking up at him, half annoyed, half struggling to keep a straight face. She was enjoying the attention. Then he told her to stay and walked off, leaving her alone. She frowned, swaying on her seat. No, no, he couldn't do that, he shouldn't do that, why did he do that? She stayed there for a moment, looking down at the ground, attempting to process what was going on. Everything was all fuzzy, why was it fuzzy? Looking up at Nick now next to Thallen, what he said registered, "I'm not a fricking dog!!"

She stood up and moved intently towards him to slap him or something. She managed to get three quarters of the way before she lost her balance once more. Regaining it, she managed to transverse the last little bit to reach Nick but her anger had dissipated with the stumble. She still pushed Nick back but with not much force, "I'm not a dog...ughh". She put a hand to her head as she looked at both of them, her mind was so fuzzy, "I didn't...drink?" She asked, she was fairly sure even with her memory but her mind was so fogged up. "Why...you?" She gazed at Thallen, trying to make sense in her jumbled mind, grabbing onto Nick's arm to stop her falling again.

    "Whatever are you talking about?"

"Uh-huh..." Nick shook his head slowly, amused by Thallen beating around the bush. "I don't think I'd describe it as chummy." He looked down at Arianna who had seemed to mostly get over the effects of whatever Thallen's ability was. She wasn't too pleased on his treatment of her.

"Oh, and the answer is no. I'm a little too old for you aren't I?" He teased. "Though I am much closer to Thallen's age." He paused, thinking over what he just said. Was that comment even necessary? Even he wasn't sure what he implied by that. "Not that you're old. Or...that...um...I don't know." Nick looked away as he tried to come up with something that didn't sound entirely stupid.

"I think I preferred it when you were asking me to carry you. I should've said yes." At least if he had, the chances of Arianna and him having that awkward moment would have been much slimmer. "...And I'm still not letting you walk alone." He didn't extend that offer towards Arianna of course. From what he remembered, that girl could definitely deliver a beating if it was necessary. Plus she was already getting over that weird drunken thing Thallen had pushed onto her.

In any case, Nick had never felt such a strange mix of discomfort and...whatever you could call having a lighter mood. "...So did you ever hear about the angry pancake? He just flipped..." Bad jokes, that always lightened things up.

[OOC: Yo dawg check out all this catching up. My B. Work's hard mang.]
Jed may have arrived and greeted everyone, but he could tell that they were all occupied for the most part. Which was fine, he didn't really like being the center of attention. There were multiple conversations happening, and he listening to what he could from each one. Somewhere in his head, involuntarily the tones and lilts of each person's voice were being stored.
It wasn't like he was going to go out and steal their life, he just couldn't help it.
One girl was on the floor working on one of the stools. She introduced herself as Teagan. It was quite a nice name.
He was still listening as one person, a woman, who had been drinking by the looks of the tequila bottle and shot glass, spoke to Rosalie.
"So um, Rosalie-" she cleared her throat, "are you planning on opening this place up? I mean, it's beautiful."
"If you do, then I'll help." Another young man added.
"She'll need to get some legal stuff attended to first."
Jed frowned slightly. Legal matters were really nothing when it came to them. The law wasn't Jed's moral code. It wasn't even something he bothered to pay much attention to. His ethics lay in nothing more than being a decent person.
Jed smiled to himself and slipped behind the bar counter, inspecting everything. It was kind of dusty, although the woman had been right to call it beautiful. Jed saw a cooler and reached inside for a bottle of water. He sipped from it and looked at the others in the bar. It was quite an odd group gathered, he had to say. Not that he could talk.
"Yeah- I want to open it."
This made Jed grin widely, looking up at Rose from his bent position behind the bar counter. Then as suddenly as Rosalie had admitted she wanted to open the bar up, she was leaving. Jed nodded at Rose as she left the bar, throwing a mock salute at her just as she exited. He didn't speak much to the others, not that he had the time but. He still felt a little guilty that he arrived late and then never said a word.
He'd get over it eventually though. Or so he hoped.
Anyway, now was not the time to be feeling remorseful. Jed set his bottle of water down on the bar, on a coaster of course. He rubbed his hands together, and began to assess his new project.
It was time to get things done around here, especially if it was going to be opening.

"Uh-huh..." Nick shook his head slowly, amused by Thallen beating around the bush. "I don't think I'd describe it as chummy." He looked over at Ari. "Oh, and the answer is no. I'm a little too old for you aren't I?" He teased. That's right. She asked him to date her. How cute. Does age really matter when we're adults? "Though I am much closer to Thallen's age." He paused.

"Excuse me?" She glanced up at him shocked.

"Not that you're old. Or...that...um...I don't know." Nick looked away as he tried to come up with something that didn't sound entirely stupid.

Oh how cute. He's nervous now.
Thallen could feel the warm sensation returning to her body. How unfortunate. Her cheeks flushed and she grabbed her forehead. "Are you trying to say something?" She raised her eyebrow playfully.

"I didn't...drink?" Ari asked, confused. "Why...you?" She gazed at Thallen, trying to make sense in her jumbled mind, grabbing onto Nick's arm to stop her falling again.

Thallen giggled. The young girl was fun to watch and the intoxication was slowly seeping back into her mind and body. "My bad," she said softly.

"I think I preferred it when you were asking me to carry you. I should've said yes." said Nick.

"Why dear Nicholas, are you flirting?" She smirked and giggled some more.

"...And I'm still not letting you walk alone."

Thallen shrugged. That wouldn't go over well with her Ex. "Fine," she sighed. She wasn't in the mood to argue. "I hope you like kids." Thallen turned on her heel, moving to go take a seat by the door and wait.

Arianna watched Thallen walk off before she let go of Nick's arm to stand straight unsupported once again. Her hear was still a little out of focus but it had noticeably cleared up. She could actually think straight once again. She could also remember all her actions over the last few minutes. Typical. She forgets everything but the one thing she'd be fine with forgetting, she remembered. Technically that wasn't surprising and she'd forget that too after 30 days but that was beside the point. Either way, she was well aware how embarrassing she'd acted. Despite that, it still wasn't the nicest feeling to be rejected even if she did understand his reasoning. Oh god, and now he also had teasing material, that wasn't good.

"Um, yeahhh, sorry about that. She gave me her drunkness or something?" She apologised to Nick, before looking at Thallen, "And I think she might be getting back now that it's worn off me from the giggling. What do we do?" She asked, she wanted to stay out of reach of Thallen for now, she wasn't in a rush to be drunk again. "And yeah, I know, it wasn't a genuine question, I wasn't thinking straight." She said, trying to fix what she'd done. She felt awkward about how she'd acted and didn't really know what she was supposed to do.

Then Nick made a joke. Ari could only shake her head at it, it wasn't particularly a good one. Still she smiled and was thankful for it, anything to break the awkwardness was something. "Yeah...you need to work on them. Good luck."

The three had met in jail where they spent their time talking about what they were going to do once they were out. Him, personally, wanted to return to a normal life and try to make amends to his family. It actually worked out at first but it was so hard getting a job as an ex-con. People wouldn't even give him a second of their time. It was frustrating, to say the least.

That was when he got the call. The voice was obviously modified by some machine or program and the person only introduced themselves as Beta and offered him a second chance.

Normally a call like this would have been ignored but it was a practically bad day and he had just returned from yet another failed interview, so he figured he would at least hear the person out. But it went from just listening to obeying.

The caller gave him instructions to go to a warehouse where he met his old friends, a pleasant surprise but further proof that they had been watched. Even so, with the money promised they could easily live happy lives.

From there they found a crate, filled with guns and masks. Never were they to use either more than once in the series of robbers they were to commit, all of which went swimmingly thanks to the floor plans and instructions given by Beta. They were in and out of places within seconds. Today should be no different, though it was the first time they were striking a place still open. He wasn't sure how this would go, as hostages always complicated things. But Beta assured them it will be fine, especially with their inside man.

Trusting Beta's word Cat, as their real names were left out when they wore the masks, parked their unmarked van in front of the bank. It was left running as they should be in and out per usual. And with that thought he grabbed his AK47 before getting out of the van, leaving the door open, and headed inside with the other two.

"Please remain calm and you will not be hurt," he started, moving straight for the guard to disarm him, "as well as do not talk or even look at us."

While he did this his partners were left with the task to move everyone to the center of the room, customers and staff alike, and to stop their screaming or any other noise they may have been making. After that they should be gathering cellphones before either of them could head for the vault.

As Vergil continued to wait outside the bank for the others to finish, he glanced over in the direction he thought he saw something, which mean he didn't see the van nor people coming out of it. By the time he turned back around, the masked men were already inside and out of his line of sight. Maybe I should see if their ready. Getting off the wall, he headed inside were he saw what was going on inside the bank.

'First time I've been on this side of a robbery.' High stress situations weren't particularly new to Nick. Still, he couldn't help but feel shocked that this was going on. His first priority was making sure that no one got blasted to bits. Assault rifles obviously meant that he was outgunned. Slowly, he reached for both Arianna and Rosalie's wrists, pulling them back towards Teagan and Thallen. They had to stay together. All of-

'Where the hell is Vergil?' Just on cue, Vergil had walked back inside the bank. ...Luckily, the robbers didn't immediately shoot him. Nick sighed out in relief as he slowly dragged the other two, hoping to keep from catching their attention. "Don't freak out." He whispered, as a dozen complex plans began piling in his mind.

Vergil, pyrokinetic. Arianna, chick who could deck a guy without breaking a sweat. Rosalie, mind control. Thallen, ...drunk inducer? Lastly there was Teagan and her tech skills. Six of them, three armed robbers, ...something...something. A massive headache had already erupted. Nick let go of both Rosalie and Arianna as he pressed the back of his right hand to his nose once the blood came.

Everything he had observed, every memory he had recalled, and every outcome he had just conceived of took its toll. He closed his eyes as he forced his brain to calm down. "I've got a plan. Just let me rest and try and remember it." True, they could have waited for the police to arrive and let negotiations take place. This almost guaranteed that people would get hurt. Either by the robbers or by the team of law enforcement that would undoubtedly break into the bank with tear gas and guns a blazing. Nick wasn't going to just stand by and let that happen. He knew that together they could pull off the plan. Just as long as he could clear his head...and as long as the others could believe in themselves. He was afraid it would be too much for them. It was his job to deal with situations like these. He just hoped the others could keep their cool and have some faith in him.

Three men entered the bank wielding guns. Thallen immediately sat up straight at their presence. The men were clad in masks. "Please remain calm and you will not be hurt," said the man in the cat mask, moving straight for the guard to disarm him, "as well as do not talk or even look at us." She looked at him anyway. Their masks were intriguing. Thallen remained quiet in her spot on the chair, that is, until the other men began to move everyone to the center of the room and take their phones. She was forced to hand her's over. In doing so, she held the robbers hand for a second too long. She felt the effects of the alcohol leaving her once more. That warranted a nasty look as he ripped his hand away and shoved her over to the rest of them.

Thallen watched as Vergil slipped back inside. That was dangerous. He would have been better off outside, free of harm's way. Nick was standing with Ari and Rosalie. She stopped beside them, resting a hand on his thick shoulder. "I've got a plan. Just let me rest and try and remember it." She glanced up at him confused. That was reassuring. She watched as he began to bleed and Thallen rifled around in her purse for a tissue.

"What do you think you're doing?" one of the gunman asked, pointing his AK47 at her. Thallen froze and lifted the tissue into the air.

"Nose bleed," she said simply, gesturing to Nicholas beside her. Thallen watched as the man shifted the aim of the gun from her to him then back to her again. Her heart beat rapidly in her chest. She handed the tissue to him before the armed robber pulled her away from the other three to stand in a different section of the crowd. He clearly didn't trust her, as he shouldn't. The masked man also ripped her purse away from her before going back to whatever it was he was wanting to do. Nick claimed to have a plan, but he had already forgotten what it was. Images of Cecilia flashed through her mind. There was no way she would leave her child alone to be raised by her Ex. They would get out of here.

Her mind was clearer now, after passing off the feeling of intoxication on one of the two men that had gathered everyone together, she couldn't remember which was was though. That was probably a bad idea. No one wanted someone handling an illegal gun drunk. It was a crime to wield even a legal one while intoxicated. Too dangerous. She immediately regretted her decision, but needed a finer level of rational thinking. If she could touch them, and develop the right emotions throughout her body, she could potentially get the men to turn on one another. A mischievous grin crept across her thin pale lips. In contrast to her delicate good-natured features, it looked sinister in place.

Arianna literally jumped as the robbers came in shouting. What on Earth? A bank robbery? No wonder she didn't use banks. She felt her heart rate raise but she forced herself to stay calm. She felt Nick's hand close around her wrist, pulling her close keeping them together as a group. That was good though really weird to be part of the group. Watching them, she felt her muscles tense, could she take them? Her mind went back to everything she'd watched recently, she had moves but all three? Doubtful. She could probably take one though and she wasn't alone, the others could do stuff too. "I can fight" She whispered quietly. They had guns sure, but there were plenty of films where non-armed people beat up armed robbers, maybe she could do this. Though she'd need help so she wasn't going to rush into anything.

Then she spotted what they were doing. Oh no. They were collecting phones, she couldn't give her phone up, she just couldn't. What if it got lost or broken? What if they stole them? She couldn't afford to lose it. It had important information on it. It told her a bit about her past and that was worth more than any money to her. There was stuff on there that she'd forgotten, it gave her clues to her past. What could she do? They were getting closer, she couldn't give it up. They paused for a second around Thallen, Nick had a nose bleed? What? Okay then, it looked like he did. Either way, it didn't stall them for that long and they were there, in front of her, demanding her phone. "I-I don't have my phone on me. Honest!! It-it was dead and it's at home charging. Please don't kill me." She pleaded, acting, her eyes looking at the man in fear.

His intentions may not have been the best ones when he went to jail, but he never meant to harm anyone. So when he did end up going to jail for murder and burglary he pretty much lost all of his morals. When he did meet the two he was now working with in jail he didn't realize he would end up back in the business again.
When he went in he immediately went to pushing people in the center and started collecting phones immediately. As he was collecting them he watched them all very carefully. He stopped in front of one girl with glasses. "Give me your phone." the girl bit her lip and handed him a blue cellphone. The next person he went to was immediately shaky.
"I-I don't have my phone on me. Honest!! It-it was dead and it's at home charging. Please don't kill me."
We did not intend to kill anyone anyway.
He chuckled softly before he spoke, "That's what they all say, give me the phone."
    "She isn't lying."
He quickly turned his head back to the girl with glasses who had spoken, "Oh?"
"I'm her older sister she was texting her boyfriend all night and was really pissed off when it died on her this morning because she was worried she wasn't going to be able to get in contact with him because it's a long distance relation-"
    "Please stop I don't-"
"That's why I was telling her when she's at home to text while she is on the charger because next thing you know she's crying about it."
"Shut up!" He spoke as he went around and collected more phones before he turned to his partner in the Cat Mask, "Alright I have everyone's phones."

Nick took the tissue from Thallen, wiping the blood off. He wished he could thank her but the man with the gun kept them from speaking. After a tense moment, Thallen was forced to another section of the crowd. Nick breathed out. He couldn't be more grateful that it didn't get any worse than that. He handed in his own phone when asked without any hesitation, partly because he couldn't think of any use for it, and partly because he was unable to think of a way it would come in handy.

The headache remained, but his nose had stopped bleeding. His mind was working much slower than it normally did...just as slowly as a regular person's brain. Arianna was tense, Teagan was making up some excuse, and thankfully it worked out with no bullets being buried into their faces. He closed his eyes and took some time to focus on the plan he had just made earlier, trying to recall its details. Without his ability to rely on, it took several painfully long seconds.

Jeff walked out into the open from the back of the bank, ignoring the scowls and "how could you?"'s his coworkers had made upon realizing he was with the robbers. He had no choice. They found him and held her at gunpoint until he agreed to help them.

"The vault will just take four more minutes to open." Jeff told the robbers in the Cat and Bird masks. He looked down, ashamed that he was forced into this. He was only glad that no one had been hurt...yet. "I'm normally not authorized to open it so I had a program-" He stopped giving out the details. They wouldn't care. They only wanted results. "It'll be open soon." Jeff muttered.

'Aha!' Nick covered his mouth with the bloodied tissue, pretending to be wiping his nose. That was Jeff he had seen before. For better or worse, this only made things easier...so long as they didn't get him killed either. He would worry later about why his friend was helping the robbers. "Rosalie." He whispered, avoiding eye contact. "I'll need you to get a message to Thallen." Nick scooted closer, telling her what he had in mind while keeping his mouth covered. Once the message was through, he lowered the tissue. It would look strange if he kept it up all the time.

"Just wait for my signal." He added lowly towards Arianna as he passed her and walked over towards the trash can to toss the tissue away. Luckily, this also put him closer towards Teagan. His mind worked on remembering the next steps of his plan. The next bits were going to take a lot more luck. bunnies, and some fire.

The man before her had left just a little ago and it did not take long for Rosalie to obtain the money needed for the bar. With this they should be set for a while so she happily turned to the others, ready to show off the check when three masked men carrying entered the bank.

It was obvious what they were here for so instantly she began hoping to see a way out or to simply wait it out. However before anything could be done she found her wrist being grabbed as she was dragged to the others. That is when she noticed Vergil coming back in. Idiot. He was out. Why not just ditch them and get to safety? Or call the cops while outside.

She then sat with the others and handed over her cell, hoping it wouldn't get crushed or lost. Better it than her at least. And everything was going smoothly so far so maybe if they just did what they were told they would be gone in no time...

    "I've got a plan."

Or not. It seemed like Nick would rather do something about the robbery rather than lay low. Awesome.

Turning away from the nose bleed Rosalie began looking around. There were only the couple and camera chick and few staff left in there besides them for hostages so less variables to worry about. However just as she was relaxing it would seem that Thallen did something to get separated from them. She had missed what it exactly was had been done but it didn't seem to matter much.

What mattered to her at the moment was the one with the cat mask who seemed to be growing impatient with the one talking about the vault. He told him to get to work and for one of the others to watch him, as he would keep an eye on the hostages. He seemed hostile.

    "Rosalie."

Turning her attention back to Nick she waited for him to say what he had to before nodding in response. She really was going through with this, huh? With a sigh she looked to Thallen, thinking of how exactly to pass the message. That was when the cat guy came her way. With that mask she could see his eyes and they ended up making eye contact. She gave him the order to pass on the message but he was rather resilient. Still, it worked, though that may have just been the only time she could control him.

He went to Thallen and told her to get the one without the mask to turn on the rest. The masked guy then looked confused, unsure of what he had just said before wandering off.

Thallen grew impatient in her spot of isolation. She watched the others carefully. Any other day, she would be as terrified as everyone else in the bank- not today. They had an advantage. With Nick as their leader, this group of misfits might just be able to do something. Her eyes stayed transfixed on her comrades. They shifted between each of them. Nick. Teagan. Arianna. Rosalie. Vergil. Jed was wise to stay behind. What was he doing in the bar right now? Had he gone home? If they had saved this for another day, would the bank still be getting robbed? Most likely. She sighed uneasily.

Her green eyes focused on Nick. What was he doing? She watched carefully as he whispered something to Rosalie. Was now really the time or place? She rolled her eyes, but refrained from shifting her focus. Her head hurt. How much longer would she have until the effects began to wear off of that robber and come back to her? Given how long it had been since her last drink, they were slowly wearing off in general. There wasn't much drunkeness for her to pass along.

Rosalie looked in her direction. She made eye contact with her for but a moment. What was she thinking? It was hard to discern from the expression on her face, but she clearly needed to tell the red head something. What is it? The cat masked burglar crossed between them. He stopped for a moment. Thallen remembered that guy at the bar. Was Rosalie using her power on the armed robber? She knit her brow in frustration, wishing she had a more helpful power. Never had she wanted her gift, her Alpha, but now- now she wished for a different one. The man in the cat masked moved closer to her. She swallowed nervously. Thallen was too thrilled by the prospects of having a gun pointed to her face again.

"Get the one without the mask to turn on the rest." The masked guy then looked confused, unsure of what he had just said before wandering off. She blinked a few times, not sure she heard right. Was he talking to her? What? Her gaze drifted back to Nick. Is that what he had been whispering to Rosalie? He did say he had a plan, but how did he expect her to do that? Her expression mirrored that of the robber- confusion. She pursed her lips before shifting her attention to the man that had betrayed his coworkers. He was scared, nervous, anxious, unprepared- all things that made for a bad criminal. This clearly wasn't his idea. Had he been coerced into it somehow? Thallen watched him carefully- observing every bit of anguish on his face, every impatient uneasy step he took. This was a delicate matter. Somehow- and she didn't know how- she would have to cross the distance to him, unnoticed, and convince him to turn on the others. Wouldn't this be a job best suited to their young Asian friend? She could clearly manipulate people's every will. Why make her the middle man and not the actioneer? Rosalie would be best suited for the task.

Thallen inhaled deeply before slipping away from her current location. Every few feet she would stop to check over her shoulder. Nothing was too amiss at the moment. That was a good sign. However, it wouldn't take long for them to notice her moving. Everyone was supposed to remain where they were. A firm large hand grabbed onto her shoulder roughly. "And where do you think you're going Missy?" It was the robber that she had passed the intoxication on. He slurred his words slightly, but it was evident that the effects were wearing off. She pressed her lips into a hard line and furrowed her brow.

"Bathroom?" It was more of a question then a statement. "I'm pregnant, and if I don't get to that bathroom right now, there will be vomit everywhere." She made a sickly face and a porcelain hand flew up to her mouth as if to keep anything from flowing out.

He stood there conflicted for a moment. Should she stay or should she go? Finally, he shoved Thallen in the direction of the unmasked man. "You. Go with her. Don't let her out of your sight." Giving her one last good nudge in scared man's direction, the robber moved back over to his partners.

Thallen walked beside the bank employee, him taking the lead. Once they were out of sight, she stopped, grabbed his hands, and gazed mournfully into his eyes. "It's apparent that you aren't really a part of this? What happened? You don't want to help them." What could she do to make him change his mind? Her voice was strong, confident, inviting, and warm. She needed to exude the appropriate amount of reassurance. These men had to be stopped, and for some reason Nick thought this guy was the key. "Please," she begged, "don't do this." Every once of regret and remorse she could muster was put into it. He needed to feel bad about what was happening, really bad.

"I-I don't want to," he began, shaking his head in dismay. Hair fell around his face and he had appeared to feel bad about it before she even forced the emotion on him. Already her head began to hurt. They wouldn't have much time. If it took any longer to convince him, the robbers were bound to get suspicious- maybe even come looking. "I have to. If I don't..." he trailed off.

"You don't have to. Trust me, no matter what they have on you, this isn't the right way. It'll be okay. I promise." She gave him a reassuring smile and a quick squeeze of the hand. "You can stop this. They. Need. You. Without you, they won't be able to get into the vault. Put an end to this now. Please." Thallen was pleading with him now. She wanted to get out of the bank. She wanted to pick up Cecilia and go home, to curl up with her baby. He appeared to be wavering. That was a good sign. Next thing she knew, his shoulders had slumped forward, his hands fell to his sides, and he began walking back in the direction they came.

"We should get back," he said curtly. She smiled, victoriously.

Nick didn't think of that. Having Rosalie use someone else to send a message to Thallen. Or...maybe he did but just couldn't remember to tell her. Having overextended himself earlier made him unsure of some of the finer details of the plan. 'I should've slowed down. Maybe...'

He watched as the events unfolded, keeping his eyes fixed on Thallen as she managed to single out Jeff by going...somewhere. Nick couldn't hear, neither could he see what happened, but seeing her and Jeff come out okay made him believe that things were going just as planned. Things were quickly beginning to look up. Rosalie and Thallen really came through and Nick couldn't help but feel a sense in pride that the two girls could keep their wits about and have faith in him. It was both humbling and frightening. If anything went wrong, it would be his fault. 'I promise. I'll get you all out of this as soon as possible.'

"Hey, do you think you can still call in those robo-bunnies?" Nick directed towards Teagan. He leaned in closer to whisper what he had in mind...

Jeff was afraid, nervous, and afraid. Yes, he was twice the afraid. Even though he hated to think what these armed men might do to his girlfriend, it wasn't fair to keep all these innocent people in danger. As he walked back towards the vault to check on the progress of his program, he contemplated stopping it. That would be far worse however. Jeff knew that angering a bunch of armed thugs would only get someone killed. In fact, he had a better idea.

He walked back towards the masked men, moving slowly as he looked at the frightened hostages. Off in the corner, next to a girl at a bench was someone he instantly recognized. 'Nick!' He quickly looked away, keeping his face straight. Jeff knew that if Nick was around, maybe there was a chance this would all turn out for the better. Still, even with an FBI agent around, it was difficult to believe that even after he had taken one robber out of the picture that Nick would be able to handle the remaining two. 'But I have to do something. I have to.'

"It's almost open." He told the Cat and Bird masked robbers. "Can one of you help me open the door? It's really heavy..." And all he would need is just an instant to lock that robber in the vault.

"If you can do that as soon as Jeff takes care of one of those robbers, I'll make sure Vergil can start the fire alarm. From there...just keep yourself low and pray." True, there were some things Nick could have done differently with the plan. He could have tried getting Rosalie to get a robber to turn on the other two, but he wasn't sure if she could do something that drastic and was almost sure that someone would get hurt in the crossfire. He could have gotten Rosalie to just control Jeff instead of having Thallen influence him...but Nick didn't want that. He believed his friend was being forced into it and just a push would get him to help them.

'And it looks like I was right. Thallen really did a great job there.' He finally turned his attention away from Thallen and turned to Vergil, the only one left out of the loop. It would have to stay that way unless Vergil came closer or Teagan's own distraction came into play. 'If I move again, it'll look suspicious.' If things turned messy, Nick still had his gun. He really hoped he wouldn't even have to draw it.

Teagan listened to Nick talk, she smiled as she pulled out her red phone whispering, "I already called them when the robbers popped up, they should be here in a few minutes..." she felt her bag shake as 7 tried to escape and she looked at the bag and whispered, "No, seven, stop."
    x
"Miss what is in your bag?"
    x
Teagan's head shot up before she spoke, "My dog."
    "Your dog?"
    "My dog."
    "Might I see your dog?"
    x
Teagan gritted her teeth as she said, "He doesn't like meeting new people."
The bird masked robber grabbed the bag from her, "You carry around a rather large bag for someone heading to the bank."
    "I am an inventor."
The bird masked man chuckled as he pointed at himself, "And I'm the richest man in the world."
Teagan didn't catch his sarcasm, "Why would you rob a bank if you were the richest man alive?"
    "It's a joke kid."
"Did they not give you your money or something?"
    x
The robber walked away with her bag annoyed and headed back over towards the vault. Teagan reached her hand out sadly and whispered, "No, no not seven. Damn they'll know the bunnies are mine."
    x
Teagan turned her head after a small pitch was heard, she recognized it and looked for it. When she saw the ears of Number 1, her only completely finished bunny, she smiled widely and turned her head to Nick, watching the other robber that was still watching them as she said, "They are here, when would you like them in?"
