At Teagan's reply Rosalie raised an eyebrow. It wouldn't catch fire or something, would it? With that thought she found herself taking a few steps back to continue watching from a safe distance.
When finished it seemed like the stool would be able to move. How useful that was was unclear, but it seemed neat nonetheless. Ah, this had to be her ability, right? Like with the dice she used with the mugging that electrocuted the thief. Something to do with tech things, she assumed.
"So this is what you do I'm guessing... Make things." That could have been worded better but before she could add to it the door opened and upon inspection her old friend seemed to have arrived. She waved him over, greeting the shifter with a smile. Her attention was taken back before she got to say anything else.
Ah, what was she a bar tender? Sure it sounded like a cool gig but serving the needs of others wasn't her thing. Despite this though she found herself pouring a glass of water for Miss Inventor and Mr. Talkative and handing it over, figuring for at least today she would show them her nice side. Lucky people.
At least that seemed to be the last request so she could finally sit down and talk, especially with Jed here now.
"Seems useful, though I wouldn't trade my power for that. Not unless you can make some sort of mind control machine."

"So this is what you do I'm guessing... Make things."
She had nodded in reply at that moment and then accepted the water Rosalie had made saying, "Thank you."
"Seems useful, though I wouldn't trade my power for that. Not unless you can make some sort of mind control machine."
Teagan coughed at that moment and then covered her mouth. She coughed another time and then spoke a little bit slow, "I can and have, but it wasn't safe at all..." she covered her head and then spoke, "Oh that poor man didn't need to lose his hea- um." she shot her head up immediately and then spoke, "Why is your power mind control related if you're putting it that way?"
She laughed at then waved her hand in a never mind motion saying, "Forget it, don't answer that question I'm rude asking..." she then looked down and opened up the stool from it's little wood block state and said, "So... um..." Teagan gritted her teeth and decided to just quit talking

"I really should learn to say no to things when a girl smiles at me." Than gave nick an amused smirk and watched as he tipped back the small glass. "Guess one drink didn't hurt." Nick said as he raised his empty glass. "I think I'll pass on seconds though. It'd be pretty hard to stop then." She frowned, then took the empty glass from him, setting it on the counter in front of her. There's nothing wrong with that. Thallen poured herself another and raised the glass to her lips, but stopped at the sound of coughing. She had only been semi-listening to the other conversations. Her eyes were focused on the golden bottle. She set the still full shot glass back down on the counter and looked over at the mechanical brunette on the floor.

"Oh that poor man didn't need to lose his hea- um." Her eyes widened in horror. She looked to her right, giving Nick a perplexed glance. Did Teagan seriously just say that?! Her eyes slowly drifted back to the teenager, a bit wary. She scooted her stool as far away as possible, without bumping into Nick.

"So um, Rosalie-" she cleared her throat, "are you planning on opening this place up? I mean, it's beautiful." Thallen tossed back the shot before giving it a second thought. It burned the back of her throat like the first time, but the sting didn't last for nearly as long. The first one is always the hardest. She glanced around, feeling awkward about the fact that she was the only one drinking in the small group of seven. Maybe she should stop there for awhile, at least until they get underway with the topic at hand. They had much to discuss, after all. She fidgeted with her long red hair, pulling it over her shoulder and twisting the locks into a loose braid.

Vergil took himself a seat at one of the many available. Right know he was just listening to all that was being said.

are you planning on opening this place up? I mean, it's beautiful."

That wouldn't be such a bad idea. He had been looking for work lately and something like this might just work out for him. "If you do, then I'll help." Even if he didn't have much experience with that sort of thing, that wouldn't stop him in the slightest. That was one of his good qualities, that fact that he wouldn't give up easy when he puts his mind to something.

Nick raised his eyebrow, looking over towards Teagan. 'Did she just say...?' He turned his attention back towards Thallen who looked quite a bit more shocked than he was. He simply shrugged at her and mouthed "No idea" as she scooted closer towards him. He had barely caught what Teagan had said and-No that wasn't true. It was all too easy for him to focus on multiple conversations at once. He heard it perfectly. Still, he wasn't sure what Teagan was on about with someone "losing their head".

"Are you planning on opening this place up? I mean, it's beautiful."

"She'll need to get some legal stuff attended to first." Nick commented, scratching the back of his head. Sure Rosalie had bought the place, he knew that much, but opening it up for business was an entirely different thing. Last time he had checked up on the place, Rosalie hadn't gone through those steps. "I've got an acquaintance at a nearby bank that could help out." He paused, thinking of how that sounded. "Not that I'm...dull enough to have friends there but it really comes in handy sometimes." Nick added in as he lowered his head.

He looked back over at Thallen and nudged the girl. "If you keep that up you're going to make me nervous." Nick said, referring to the whole... fidgeting and hair braiding thing she was doing. If she had been sitting on the stool Teagan "upgraded" he was sure it would judge Thallen for doing that. Well, not yet, but it would the moment Teagan gave the darned thing the ability to speak too. At this rate, Nick was going to have stoolphobia. Talking furniture didn't appeal to him yet he couldn't stop thinking about it now...

That sentence implied things Rosalie didn't need to know and especially didn't wish to imagine. The vivid image of some poor man's head popping... Shaking her head she pushed the thought aside. Let's not be this one test dummy, alright?
After a short shudder she replied. "Yeah-" wait, did she really want to let them know what she could do before she knew all of their tricks? No, not really. So it was a good thing Thallen asked something as well, allowing the burnett to blend her reply. "I want to open it."
So like that her mind was made up on the place. Kind of inconvenient but whatever. She could make it work. She could make anything work.

    -legal stuff...
Oh. What a stick in the mud.

Sighing Rosalie stood and went to the back room to retrieve her bag, throwing the strap of the faded green messenger bag over her shoulder before returning to the others. Legally doing things... Pfft,

"Might as well do that now, since don't banks close kinda early?" Not like she would know. "Anyone who want to come with feel free to follow. Otherwise tend the fort, go home or whatever," and with that she exited the bar.

He looked back over at Thallen and nudged the girl. "If you keep that up you're going to make me nervous."

"Hm?" Thallen looked up at him and relinquished her hair. "Oh, my bad. I don't even notice most of the time." Her hair fell in a wavey mess around her shoulders. Thallen's eyes drifted back to Teagan and she felt a sense of dread. That girl was going to make her uncomfortable. Being uncomfortable would not be good for anyone else. Sometimes, it seemed like her emotions just oozed into others at times, even without her making contact. She nibbled at her lip until Rosalie piped up again.

"I want to open it." How nice. The place was so beautiful, after all. She smiled pleasantly at the thought. It was relaxing. Thallen picked up the bottle once more and filled up the shot glass.

"She'll need to get some legal stuff attended to first," said Nick.

Sighing Rosalie stood and went to the back room to retrieve her bag, throwing the strap of the faded green messenger bag over her shoulder before returning to the others. "Might as well do that now, since don't banks close kinda early? Anyone who want to come with feel free to follow. Otherwise tend the fort, go home or whatever," and with that she exited the bar.

Thallen debated what to do. As nice as it would be to get working on the bar itself, she decided to tag along. It couldn't hurt. Her school had been for Business Management, but she never finished. It wouldn't hurt to sit in on a banking conversation. Her pointer finger circled the rim of the shot glass and she dipped it into golden liquid. Thallen sucked the alcohol off the tip of her finger before tossing back the shot and hopping down off of the stool. She flashed a quick grin at Nick and then to the others. "Coming?" she said to the group, before exiting the bar after Rosalie.

Once outside, she caught up to the younger girl wearing the shoulder bag. Her cheeks burned red and a warmth spread through her limbs. "Where to?"

Teagan was slightly confused by some of the reactions given after she had mentioned her mind control invention. What the man was a successful millionare who worked his way to the top, the invention fried his brain and he lost all of his... smarts? That's probably not the word. It took her a minute to realize she said "lose his head" not "lost his mind"
    x
She finished up her water and watched people start to leave. She quickly grabbed her tool bag and set off after them. By this point she had caught names at least and was able to tell people apart. Just, never go to one of these things drunk..

A drink would be good right now... focus. FOCUS.

Teagan pulled her red phone out of her pocket, this one was a touch screen with more important things on it. She went to an unidentified App then switched on the mic and spoke, "7 and 8, track me and find me. No hostility, only track. Be careful. I'll make sure my signal isn't disturbed until you get here."
    x
She turned off the mic and continued following everyone, after a minute a little robot bunny hopped over to Teagan, "Oh 8. You already made it. You were supposed to be at home." she picked up the small robot and messed with the settings on it whispering, "I wish I had pretty fur for you guys..."

Last night consisted of studying about bars in case she ended up going through with opening it, and apparently she would need a penal bond. Those were about a thousand, not to mention how pricey the alcohol could be. So it was a shame but she would need to tap into her savings. At least as long as Mr. Legal stuck around.

"We're going to a bank that's close by. I have an account there. Will need to withdraw some... What was that about a friend there who could help out?" She asked, turning from Thallen to Nick as they continued to walk, displaying some short attention not normally present. It was just having too many thoughts inside her head was causing her to lose track of everything. Sure this meant she was a rather simple girl but things were easier that way.

Luckily it was a short distance between the bar and the bank so while awaiting a response Rosalie found herself in front of the red brick building in no time. Once inside she found the place rather empty besides the staff, a middle aged business man, a blonde girl carrying a camera, and a what she thought to be a couple. How odd it felt to be entering with such a large group now.

Ignoring any looks given she moved to the line with the business man, assuming that he was almost done with his deposit or at least further along than the rest making this the line with the least amount of waiting time.

Teagan had put the robot in her bag before they had gotten to the bank. When she did she pulled out her phone and whispered, "Nevermind 7 go home." then she put her phone in her pocket. She then looked over at Rosalie and walked over towards her before she spoke smiling, "I'll help out with paying for something if you want."

She hadn't waited for a reply before she walked over to the line with a blonde girl holding a camera in front of her. She looked at the camera, it was a nice looking camera that probably took good quality photos, but not a good quality video. She looked at it for a bit as the line was moving and switched over to her green phone to check up on, in her opinion worthless or untrusted contacts.

Upon mentioning of going to the bank, Vergil got up and left after them. He'd figured that he might as well tag along with them for something like this. Not that he had any personal reason to go the bank. "What're going to do with the money you've taken out?" He asked when he caught up. There were a few guess he could make, butthere was a high probability that his guesses were wrong.

"Yeah. I'm coming." Nick responded to Thallen before RA's timeskip because Arch was out at school and couldn't reply earlier. Plus, it would have been stupid if Nick didn't tag along when he was the one who brought up the whole legal thing anyways. Something that seemed to visibly bother Rosalie...

"What was that about a friend there who could help out?"

"Hm..." Nick held up a hand for the group to wait as he walked over towards a security guard. "Has Jeff shown up yet?" The guard shook his head. As for how Nick knew this man...that was a long and dull story.

"Someone else had to cover up his shift. I haven't seen him all day." The guard shrugged.

'Hm.' It wasn't going to be easy, but it was going to just take longer to get it all settled. Nothing impossible. "He's not here. He didn't show up to work." Nick crossed his arms and sighed out. "Still want to get this done today? It'll take a little longer." He looked at the others who had tagged along. Did they really need that many people? Though he wouldn't have said it out loud, he preferred it to be only Rosalie, Thallen, and himself. Especially since Teagan had to bring those freaky bunnies around.

Thallen tagged along in the back of the group. She felt bubbly and anew. How many shots did she have at the bar-- three, four? She couldn't remember by the time they reached the bank. Her body was warm and tingly, her cheeks flushed a bright red, blending her pale skin effortlessly with her hair. Green eyes sparkled like the rolling hills of Ireland as she gazed at the beautiful bank. She used some crummy pint-sized bank all the way across town. This one was beautiful. Her heart raced in her chest, but that was most likely due to the alcohol. She stumbled into the building and grabbed Vergil's shoulder for support. Thallen giggled lightly to herself. It was always a joy to be out with new people.

"My bad," she whispered to Vergil before standing erect. Thallen ran her hands down the length of her dress, smoothing the wrinkles out. There was no need for so many of them to be present at the bank, but why not? They were bonding, after all. They needed to get to know one another and learn each others' abilities. Rosalie must have acquired a decent sum of money over her teenage life to be able to not only buy a bar and apartment, but open it up with her own savings. It was impressive, to say the least. She went back to fiddling with her hair. There wasn't much for her to do otherwise. It seemed like Nick and Rosalie would have it pretty much covered.

There was a fogginess clouding her mind and Thallen swayed in circles in her spot. She stood strong, never stumbling or falling over, but continued to move in all four directions, braiding her hair all the while. Hmm...

She smiled at Teagan and went to accept the offer but before any words could get out the other had gone off to another line. Rude but whatever. If she was in line this at least meant she could be getting money anyway so that was good news. Even Nick had walked off, though at least he was going to look for his friend and didn't ditch her mid-sentence.

"Buying a bond for the bar, maybe store the rest for employee checks. Hm, paying people..." Now there's a thought she hadn't given much attention. How did that even work out? It sounded like it would all come from customers but things could start out slow... Meaning it would have to come out of her own pockets. Not a pleasant image. However, if these so-willing-to-help worked for her... Ah, yes. This would be easy. "Oh, and supplies."

By the time she threw in that last sentence Nick seemed to have returned to them, asking something that sounded stupid. "Might as well get my cash while we're here. Don't need your friend for that. Whatever he was going to do can be done later, right?"

Figures he wouldn't be here though. You could never rely on anyone but yourself it seemed. Everyone else will only let you down.

"Yeah. Guess he just took the day off or something." Nick shrugged as he answered Rosalie, shrugging the crap out of the moment. He was beginning to wonder if Rosalie was always like this. Did her powers make her that moody or was it just a girl thing? Or something else entirely? 'Moody moody moody.' Nick decided against trying to figure out why Rosalie seemed so blunt and turned his attention towards the rest of the group.

They didn't all need to come along. ...Especially not Teagan's bunnies. Nick hated robots like that ever since he worked on a horrific case involving a mechanical- "Um..." Thallen looked as if she was going to knock over Vergil. This was the reason why he hated having too much to drink. Loss of clarity, loss of control, it was something he hated. He reached out towards the girl in an attempt to keep her steady. "I think it'd be better if you sat down." Nick had seen plenty of people hit the ground hard before. Most of the times he caused it, but it was never pretty.

"Go ahead and do what you need to do." He told Rosalie. 'I'll just be here trying to keep Thallen from hurting herself. I probably should have stopped her from having seconds too...' Nick sighed out, remembering that just because he had a badge, it didn't mean he could do that. There was nothing he could do now but wait for Rosalie to finish her business. "Do you need a ride hom-" Nick trailed off, looking off towards someone who entered the building. Whoever it was, he wasn't facing Nick though he had caught a glimpse of the man's face. 'Freaky. I could've sworn that was Jeff.'

Nick approached Thallen, helping steady her. She relinquished Vergil's shoulder and smiled brightly at the stick in the mud. "I think it'd be better if you sat down." Thallen frowned, giving him a pouty face. It's not like she was drunk. True, there was a definite buzz going on, but she hadn't anticipated this trip to the bank. It was a child free night, an ex free night. She clung to Nick's bicep and batted her long eyelashes at him.

"I think I will be fine," she rebutted. Thallen smirked and stood her ground, albeit, a bit shakily. She wondered how long this would take. Staying at the bar probably would have been a better decision, but then she would have been alone. Her fingers wrapped tighter around his arm as Nick spoke up again.

He said something to Rosalie, but she wasn't listening. Her eyes drifted around the room, taking in the sight. The rows of tellers looked preoccupied with customers and the security guard loomed imposingly near the door. He had been no help to Nick a few minutes prior. "Do you need a ride hom-" Her head snapped up and she stared at him questioningly. It was clear what he started to say, but she was confused as to why he stopped.

She followed his gaze to the man that entered the building. Did he know him? "I can walk. I am used to walking." Thallen trailed her fingers down her arm and smiled coyly. "You could carry me though, if you wanted." She giggled playfully. Being out without her child and drinking always made her feel like the 23-year-old she actually was. How much longer would Rosalie be? Would they depart from the bank, or head back to the bar together?

Nick contemplated going over for a closer look at the man. By the time Thallen responded, he had already decided against it. There was no need to do something like that. If he reacted to every little suspicion he had-

"You could carry me though, if you wanted."

He scratched the back of his head nervously with his free hand as his other arm was preoccupied with Thallen. ...And that only sounded wrong. "I could but that might not be such a good idea." There was a reason why Nick had so much time away from his own job to come to the bar. To the others, stopping a mugging was probably a once in a lifetime thing. To him, it was below his job description.

The one vacation he ever had and it was because of a bullet wound. The day after that mugging, he and his partner were called in on a drug bust that didn't go so well for him. One bullet to the arm, a day in the hospital, and a few weeks of time off to recover. Granted it was more exciting than most of the other things he was called in for. 'The movies don't give amount of paper work or research that we do justice. Ever.'

While one part of his mind reminisced over the shortcomings of his career, another part already lost track of what he was going to say next. "Um..." Nick looked back down at the cheerful Thallen as he tried to form a sentence. "I don't think I'm letting you walk home alone." He finally said after a long moment, laughing quietly afterwards for seemingly no reason. He wasn't sure if it was Thallen's attitude that was slowly making him lighten up or something else. Like, a hidden drunken power. The power to make him not so much of a stick in the mud. 'I bet that'd make me a stick out of the mud.' He joked terribly in his thoughts.

Vergil said nothing when Thallen used him for support, in fact he'd barely notice at all. So, when they gotten to the bank, he just waited with everyone else for Rosalie to finish up. He casually leaned himself against the wall and looked around. As usual there were a bunch of people walking around. Some heading to somewhere in particular others just walking around. Though he was just looking around, he was also glancing at whoever went in or out the bank with the corner of his eye.

Arianna had been quiet, so quiet you'd think invisibility or not being noticed was her power but in truth, she'd just been thinking, watching and observing. Like watching Teagan do what she did to that stool had been amazing. She was a technological genius or something? That had to be her power. Either way, it was pretty impressive, especially considering she had virtually no components to work with in the bar. That must have only been only a tiny glimpse on the surface of all the things she could do. Who knew what she was actually capable of, maybe she could...maybe she could actually help her. She was making assumptions and she'd only just met the girl, she should probably wait before asking favours. Yet, how much time did she really have? Two weeks from now, she'd forget the mugging, three weeks from now, she'd forget today. She couldn't afford to wait that long.

Rosalie's power also intrigued her, mind control? That must have been why that guy who walked out looked strange. That power was honestly a bit scary, well more than just a bit scary. Would she use it on them? She could make them do anything, make them her slaves. That was terrifying, especially considering all their abilities. She could easily be so so powerful. Either way, currently she was suggesting a trip to the bank. Ari hadn't been to a bank in a long time, she had her reasons for not using them though she could easily have money in bank accounts that she'd simply forgot about. However, she still made the choice to quietly tag along, she wasn't ready to go home quite yet.

They got there faster than she expected and Rosalie vanished off somewhere to do something. Nick's friend didn't seem to be there either, how strange. Although, her attention was now on Thallen, she hadn't noticed the girl had been drinking but she quite clearly had been. She was seriously quite drunk. She watched Nick deal with her for a bit before finally coming over. "Need any help?", she asked Nick quietly referring to Thallen before looking to the other girl and smiling brightly, "You alright there?"

"I could, but that might not be such a good idea." She pouted again. Nick was dull and boring. Was he always so serious? She hoped not. It would make for a dull time both now and if they ever planned to get together again in the future. The odd man out, unless everyone was this tight-faced, then it would be she as the odd one out. That would be no fun. It could potentially change her mind about joining whatever it is they were. "I don't think I'm letting you walk home alone." He finally said after a long moment, laughing quietly afterwards for seemingly no reason.

Thallen rolled her eyes, but with a smile. "I am perfectly capable of walking home by myself. Plus, I won't be alone." She left it at that. No one knew about her child. Her gaze drifted to the blond approaching them. It was that girl Ari, who said she would be bad with names. How wonderful it would be to have a change of subject.

"Need any help?" she asked Nick quietly referring to Thallen before looking to the other girl and smiling brightly, "You alright there?"

Oh this was annoying. They all assumed to think she was more drunk than she actually was. All right, time to show them just how not drunk I am. Thallen gave Ari a bright cheery smile before giving Nick his arm back. She took the young blond's hands in her own. "Oh yes. Thank you." She gazed deeply into her eyes and ran her thumb over Ari's knuckles. "I. Feel. Perfectly. Fine." Thallen felt it slowly leave her. She hadn't been drunk, just a bit buzzed, but now she most definitely wasn't. She winced slightly at the sudden throbbing in her head. "Just a slight headache. I'm fine."

She dropped Ari's hands and smiled between the two of them. This would be much more entertaining. Thallen glanced over at Rosalie. "Almost done dear?" she called over before carefully winding her way through the lines to stand at Rosalie's side. Her head hurt. She would need some water to take the pain killers.
