Teagan yawned as she closed up the bottle and sat down and looked over at a potted plant and spoke, "Seven. Remember that thing I said about instant sobriety. It's not working I think..."
    x
Teagan blinked as a bunny jumped up on her desk and she bit her lip, "Oh... hi Seven... I thought you were over there..." she turned her head back to the plant. "Wait... you are still there..."
    x
Teagan jumped up from the desk and hiccuped, "There's twwwoooo of yoooou?"
    x
Teagan ran drunkenly out of her room and into the living room. She tripped and fell on top of the couch and fell asleep rather immediately.

He hadn't even figured out if these people were dangerous or not and already Arianna was talking about the possibility of accepting their offer to join them. Nick shook his head slowly and tapped his fingers against the table. "I don't trust them. I've dealt with several different gangs over the years and none of them are any good." In fact, it was a gang member that put him in the hospital. His arm was still sore from that wound.

Nick watched as Thallen swayed around, worried she'd fall off her seat. She definitely had too much to drink and wasn't willing to have the bottle too far away from her. As soon as she put her head down Nick reached over and took the bottle once more, gently prying it from her embrace before moving it farther towards his side just out of Thallen's reach. "Hm." She wasn't in any condition to get herself home. That sounded like a job for Superma--Nick. He leaned forward against the bar and tilted the bottle slightly, watching as the liquid moved inside.

"Decline their offer." He added in. Nick wanted to say that he was already busy with his own research on this "Red Flag" group but if he let the others in on it, that only meant that they could be further put into danger. People often did not respond well to the threat of having their secrets exposed and Nick intended to shed as much light on them as possible. He could only hope the others would stay out of the way long enough for whatever Red Flag planned to do about it boiled over.

The moment the bottle was out of her grasp, Thallen's depression quickened to irritation and flat out anger. That was rude of him. She had said it was her's, did she not? Granted, her reaction time was rather delayed and what seemed swift and quick, probably took a ridiculously longer amount of time than intended. He kept talking and when she caught sight of the bottle on the other side of him, she gave Nick a drunken glare. How dare he. Her head lifted up and she casually slipped her hand over so that she was grasping his.

"Nick," she said softly, batting her glossy green eyes, "What arrrre you doin'?" she asked through slurred words, while blinking a whole bunch. Her fingers twined with his and she leaned into him. Her other arm stretched out in front of him, reaching for the bottle. "Thiefssss get punished fer takin' thingsss that don't belong tooooo them."

    xx
Thallen held tightly onto his hand until she had the bottle again. "Oopsies," she giggled before pulling it close to him and letting go.

Vergil had no idea how to react to the situation before him. Thallen was drunk and Nick was trying to handle her, which may or may not be working. Still he chose just to stay out of it as he went to get himself a seat. With any luck, the whole might blow over soon, but that was a huge maybe.

Nick leaned back as Thallen reached for the bottle. He froze as her hand touched his. 'What is she-' He tried to pull the bottle away from Thallen but was too slow. His head became fuzzy as Thallen took it from him. "Ugh." He pressed his other hand to his forehead, realizing what she did. His constitution was much higher than a normal person's, even under the influence of Thallen's...ability, it wasn't hard to figure out what she did. Nick narrowed his eyes at Thallen, a little upset that she would use her power against him.

If she wanted to play like that, he would be more than happy to drunken battle her. Well, maybe not in such a violent manner. "Nooo." His voice had lost its serious tone by now. "You've had enough." Nick gripped Thallen's wrist and tugged on it to bring her closer, her seat squeaking as it leaned towards his side. "You're not playing fair." Nick reached over towards the bottle and pulled it out of the girl's grasp. He smirked, holding the bottle over her head just out of reach. Nick released his hold on Thallen's wrist and shook his head at her.

"I think..." He shook the bottle over Thallen's head. "...I've figured out what your ability is. I'm not so easy to push around with that little trick." Whatever influence she had put on him was vanishing as soon as it came. Nick probably had his own ability to thank for that. The forced drunkenness was gone but even though his mind cleared up, the smirk on his face still remained. "Looks like I've gone over your head on this one." Nick shook the bottle once more as emphasis for his poor joke.

"Nooo." Nick argued playfully. "You've had enough." Nick gripped Thallen's wrist and tugged on it to bring her closer, her seat squeaking as it leaned towards his side. Her green eyes darkened as he pulled her closer. Red hair fell in her face and she was only inches from him now. "You're not playing fair." Nick reached over towards the bottle and pulled it out of her grasp. He smirked, holding the bottle over her head just out of reach. Nick released his hold on Thallen's wrist and shook his head at her.

She glared at him. "Thasss mine," she slurred and reached out to snatch it again but failed.

"I think..." He shook the bottle over Thallen's head. "...I've figured out what your ability is. I'm not so easy to push around with that little trick." She looked at him appalled, as if he accused her of something heinous and disgusting. "Looks like I've gone over your head on this one."

"I'unno what yer talkin' 'bout. Yer not playin fur by holdin' the bottle up hiiiiiiigh." Thallen reached up again and slipped out of her bar stool. She landed on her knees beside Nick and dug her nails into his thigh as she struggled to pull herself up. A dull pain shot it's way up her leg and she felt dizzy. "Oooopsieeeees." Her face was flushed red and her hair was a disheveled mess around her shoulders.

"No objections." It was a simple answer for Arianna. But people were entering and it was no longer a private conversation. The catching the late people up bit was skipped and she took the milk and moved it to a fridge in the backroom. Hopefully it was not forgotten. Though the only way Ash was going to get it if he showed up for it; Rosalie wasn't some babysitter that made sure to return everything to people without owing them or something.

Upon her return she heard Nick's demand to decline their offer. "Already planned on it." Her comment was more of a snap. Orders were still not well received. In fact, by him telling her not to join she was tempted to do the opposite, just because. But to do something on that scale for such a poor reason did not seem likely.

He and Thallen were then fighting over the bottle. Normally she would just sigh and leave it alone, but that cop bothered her. He was too controlling. Bossy. So she made her way over to him, standing at his side and tapping his arm, waiting for the two to make eye contact.

If he really snapped out of Thallen's...whatever she did, that easily then it may not work but maybe it had weakened his resistance? Any amount of distress or sour emotions could be used as an opening too, helping her push her way into his mind.

    "Go home."

Thallen stopped angrily laughing when footsteps approached. She turned to see Rosalie standing next to Nick and was staring at him. Gulping nervously, she managed to painfully pull herself back into her seat. "Go home," she told him. Thallen stared blankly at the pair of them. Her head was swimming and she had to rest her cheek on the cool sleek surface that was the polished bar counter top. Nick was a lame party pooper. She wasn't a constant drinker--not anymore anyway--and he had kept trying to cut her off. He wasn't the bartender and it wasn't like she was going to go driving. Hell, she'd rather spend the night out in the street in her wheelchair than at home alone.

Depression began to edge its way back inside of her as she continued to stare. Her green eyes were glossy and it felt like the counter was rocking on water. Thallen feared that she somehow managed to get on a boat, but everything still looked the same. The bar isn't in a boat, is it? She had almost voiced that question, but realized how terrible of a mistake it would have been just before doing so. Thallen began to hum softly to herself, barely audible. A yawn escaped her and eyelids began to droop shut. She slipped her hands under her temple like a pillow. There was a pounding in the back of her head that was easy to ignore with the effects of the alcohol.

It had probably only actually been a few seconds since she set her head down on the bar, but it felt like hours had gone by in that amount of time. She could still see Nick and Rosalie through slit lids, but couldn't hear their voices anymore. "Mymunuhveepmow," she mumbled before her lids shut fully.

Nick frowned as Thallen fell over, reaching over to try and assist her when she dug her nails into his leg to bring herself back to her seat. He winced slightly but at least he had been smart enough to wear pants. He lowered the bottle down to the table, sure that Thallen wouldn't be trying to take it again. "Are you-"

Rosalie tapped on him for his attention. He turned to face her, meeting her eyes. She didn't look happy, that was for sure. Then she told him to go home. A strange sensation rushed to his brain as she spoke. His senses were almost overwhelmed as a strong desire to return home suddenly came to mind. It made his head hurt. Nick almost stood up to leave, but he didn't. His eyes narrowed on Rosalie's, as his mind worked to overcome the influence she pushed on him, containing it before throwing it in the metaphorical garbage. "Nice try." Nick spoke after a moment, letting the discomfort he felt subside.

"I never knew my ability gave me these kinds of resistances. Thanks for letting me know." It was painfully obvious now that Rosalie really didn't like him. Nick turned his attention back towards Thallen and sighed out quietly. She seemed to have fallen asleep. He reached over and touched her shoulder. "Hey. Do you want me to take you home?" Nick wasn't sure how comfortable sleeping in that position could be. Thallen looked tired enough not to care about it though and he wasn't sure if she'd be willing to move.

Something touched her and Thallen jerked away in her sleep. A soft voice permeated her unconscious mind and she groaned in annoyance. "Hey. Do you want me to take you home?" She lifted her head sleepily and blinked away the fog that nestled itself in her eyes.

"No one home..." she muttered before burying her face in the crook of her arms. Thallen stifled a sob and shook her head. There was nothing waiting for her at home. It would be dark and empty. She needed to call Jesse again. He took her! Thallen pulled herself upright and fumbled around searching for her phone. She felt something solid under her hand and slipped her fingers into the pocket, pulling it out. A business card floated to the floor as she did so. What was that? Her brows knit furiously as she tried to focus on the screen. It kept jumping around and her finger missed the screen on the first try. She tapped the picture of Jesse's face, glaring at the screen with her bloodshot glossy green eyes. Thallen lifted it to her ear, but the phone slid out of her hand, landing on the floor by the business card.

"No," she gasped. "No, no, no, no, noooooo." Thallen stretched out the last word in a drunken exasperated frustration. Her voice was whiny and laced with tension. The phone was at her feet and she couldn't reach it without getting off the bar stool. The pain in her leg was slowly starting to creep its way back in. She squeezed her eyes shut, forcing back the tears. Her pink lips were pressed into a thin line and she was struggling to fight back the turmoil building up inside her. Thallen exhaled a heavy sigh and rested her head in her hand, elbow on the bar. "Fine. Home..." she said at last.

Running down the streets, through the jumble of buildings and over several fences...followed by skirting around angrily barking dogs poorly chained to a post. Ash kept running...since the sirens behind him kept growing louder and the calling voices kept following him. Or...was he following them? Shaking his head, Ash whined aloud, "It's too hard to tell who's following who! Stupid cops!" Or was it 'whom'? Grammar wasn't his thing...especially when he was being chased.

Running face-first into a chain-link fence, Ash proceeded to climb over it. Dropping down on the other side, he sighed heavily. "Not again...what's with people and their crazy dogs? I seriously think the people in this city think they should just have random junk everywhere and a few mean dogs guarding it...and a fence to keep people hoppin' into their yards." Of course his logic made zero sense...but that hardly mattered at the moment. Three pairs of beady, rage filled eyes glared at him. Three sets of slobbering, sharp, pointy, nasty, mean dog teeth gnashing as the owners of those teeth barked at him. Two were a nice chocolaty brown and the other black with a patch of white on his chest. Their chains looked long...and rusty. Taking off across the yard, Ash scrambled for another fence on the other side of the junk yard. Leaping up on top of a broken down car, he turned in time for one of the dogs to jump up and latch pointy teeth onto his forearm. "Yikes!" Worry filled him as he stood there with a rather hefty brown dog gnawing on his arm. "Are you okay, little doggie? Seriously...don't bite too hard...I wouldn't want you to break your teeth biting me. There's not a whole lot of meat on my arm if that's what you're looking for... You should try a thigh." Wait...why was he offering parts of his body to the dog again? Patting the dog on its head, he gave it an apologetic smile and forcefully flung the poor canine off and away from him. "See ya later pups, maybe then you'll give me more of a workout." A dull ache throbbed in his arm and he prayed the beast didn't have any diseases he could catch.

Climbing another fence, Ash felt a tug on his leg. Glancing down, he groaned inwardly. Another heavy dog hung from his leg. It was the black one...how cute. Eh....cute? Shaking his head, Ash wiggled his leg, willing the dog to lose his grip and just fall off....but he held on tight. Ash's pant leg caught between yellowing canine fangs. "Cindy's not going to be happy if I come back smelling like dog. So just leggo."
"This way...I hear dogs barking. If it's not our guy then we've caught an intruder all the same."

Ash's sapphire eyes darted towards the street. Any minute now and he'd have cops on his hand too...and he was willing to bet they knew what he looked like. "Dammit...sorry, but I don't have time for these shenanigans." Kicking the dog from his leg, and regretting it, Ash jumped down off the fence and ran for the street.

'No one home?' That didn't make sense. He knew there should have been someone else there. Cecilia wasn't with Thallen so someone else had to have been taking care of her. Nick wanted to ask her what happened. It might have been too personal but in any case he never got the chance. Soon enough, Thallen was searching for something. He tilted his head as he watched her fumble around for whatever it might have been. Nick opened his mouth to ask if she needed help. 'Oh.' It was her phone which soon had a personal call of its own with the floor.

"No, no, no, no, noooooo." Thallen whined. He reached down to get the phone as soon as he noticed that Thallen was unable to. Nick couldn't help but notice that a contact named Jesse was on the screen. It didn't take any effort for him to figure out who that was. Saying nothing about it, he left the phone in front of Thallen. She wasn't even touching him yet he couldn't help but feel a pang of sadness from watching her.

Nick pressed his hand on her back gently. "Alright. Do you want help getting up?" He moved to push his own chair in, moving slowly almost as if to stall for time. He wanted to cheer her up but wasn't sure what he could possibly say, especially since he didn't know what was bothering Thallen. "...I don't have to leave if you want." Nick added in lowly. Though offering to stay over sounded a little weirder out loud than he had imagined it would. "I mean...just so you aren't alone." That didn't make it sound any better. Nick scratched the back of his neck, unable to even come up with one of his terrible jokes.

"Alright. Do you want help getting up?" Nick rested a hand on Thallen's back and pushed out his chair.

She nodded and gripped his arm as she pulled herself onto one foot, letting the other leg hang limp. It was a balancing act. A very difficult balancing act.

[paragraph]"...I don't have to leave if you want." Nick added in lowly. She stared up at him in confusion. Certainly he didn't just say that? "I mean...just so you aren't alone." Ah. Nice save. The words only half processed in her drunken mind and she smiled up at him salaciously, with a wink.[/paragraph]
Thallen turned her attention to Rosalie, Arianna, and Vergil; giving them a quick wave and a stupid grin. "Night Roooose.~ Night Verrrrrgil. Night Arrrrieeeeee.~" she said happily. Her wave caused her to stumble and she held tightly onto the bar. "Lessssss go!" she told Nick before gathering up her things and plopping down into the wheelchair. "Mush!" She pushed the air with her hands, gesturing for them to move forward. "Onwarrrd hooooo~" Thallen turned in the wheelchair giving one last wave to the others before disappearing out the front door.

As they approached the blueberry, she lifted her head up so that her glossy green eyes were looking at Nick's. "If I doooo saaaaay sooooooo Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii-cholas, and I do," she wiggled her finger in the air, "you are trying too too too hard." A silly smirk was on her face and she let her gaze drop to the phone in her lap. Bastard! Oops... She giggled. "Where are we going?" Thallen glanced around in confusion before letting her eyes rest on the car in front of her, having seemingly forgotten what was just happening.

The way Thallen smiled at him when he asked if she wanted him to stay with her...It made him believe that she thought he might have been asking for more than that. 'Maybe I'm reading too much into it. I think.' Nick waved at the others as he and Thallen left the bar. He couldn't but smile to himself over how she was acting. Even with how drunk she was, he was surprised he didn't have to keep her from falling to the ground despite Thallen stumbling. She didn't need to get hurt any further.

"Mush." He repeated after Thallen said it, shaking his head in amusement. As they arrived at his car, Nick began to reach into his pocket for the keys. They jingled as he pulled them out.

"If I doooo saaaaay sooooooo Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii-cholas, and I do," Nick looked towards Thallen, raising an eyebrow as his eyes met her's before shifting over towards her waving finger, "you are trying too too too hard."

Nick smiled at Thallen and took her finger, shaking it slightly. "And if I say so, and I do," he squeezed her finger before releasing it, "you are very very very drunk." Nick unlocked the door and pulled it open. "We're going to your place. My apartment...isn't exactly a place for two. Unless you want to go somewhere else." Nick reached underneath Thallen and pulled her off the wheelchair to sit her in the passenger seat. He stored the wheelchair in the back. Nick looked down at the phone on Thallen's lap, which had mysteriously not fallen when he lifted her. "Are you going to call anyone?" Nick pulled on the seat belt beside Thallen, leaning over and helping her 'click' the thing.

"Are you going to call anyone?" he asked her while driving.

Thallen stared down at the phone angrily before pushing it aside. "No," was all she said in response. she grew silent during the ride, only speaking on occasion to point out which direction to go. Her head bobbed against the window of the car and she sighed. When they finally pulled up to the apartment, her face contorted into a loathing disgust. She never had people over and for good reason.

She waited for Nick to help her out of the car and went inside. "There's no elevator and it's on the third floor." Sobriety was making its way back to her, sort of. Thallen used the crutches and the banister to carefully pull herself up the steps. It was tiresome and took longer than necessary to get up four flights of stairs. She stopped in front of the door emblazoned with the golden flaked numbers that read '317.' "Here we are."

Thallen put the keys in the lock and the door creaked open. It was dark, but even in the dim moonlight shining in from the window, one could see how trashed the small studio apartment was. Dirty dishes were stacked up in the kitchen. The living room/bedroom was filled with piles of clothes, a mixture of clean and used. Empty food boxes lay strewn about the room and the bed crammed in the corner between the couch and television was unmade and chaotic. A crib rested against the wall that separated the kitchen from the living bedroom and children's toys were all over the floor. "Sorry. I don't have people over."

She rummaged through a pile of clothes and grabbed some pajamas, hobbling over to the small bathroom. Thallen changed quickly and limped back out. "You don't have to stay, if you don't want too." Her eyes were heavy as she crawled over to the bed. It had no frame so the box spring and mattress rested on the floor. The comforter had indistinguishable stains on it and she pulled it over her head.

"Why didn't you ever tell me about those abilities you had?" His sister was furious. Sarah shook her fists at Nick as she glared at him.

"I tried, Sarah. Really, I tried." Nick reached his hand out towards her only to have it smacked away. She hadn't found out in the way he wanted. He hadn't told her. She just found out.

"And instead of getting a doctor you go and find more of those freaks to hang out with while you ignore your own family!" He couldn't believe what he was hearing. He was different but that didn't make him a freak. It didn't make them any less human to be different yet here Sarah was saying he needed to be fixed. Was he really broken?

"Freaks? There's nothing wrong with us. What's gotten into you?" Once more he reached for his sister.

Sarah backed away from Nick as he approached her, shaking her head at him. "Don't touch me!" She froze in place as her eyes rolled to the back of her head. A streak of crimson ran down her brow before her limp body collapsed. Behind his sister's corpse was-

Nick's eyes shot open, his right hand immediately stretching out to catch himself before he accidentally crashed into the floor. He shifted on the couch, turning his head to crack his sore neck. He sat up and wiped the cold sweat from his forehead, inhaling deeply as he tried to regain his composure. Nick lifted his left hand in an attempt to fix his ruffled hair only to lean back in shock. "How...?"

He swallowed. Carefully, he turned the gun checking to see if it had still been on Safe. Even though it was, it didn't ease his conscious. Nick exhaled, placing the gun back in the holster of his jacket...which was hanging several feet away on a chair. Immediately he had already begun to regret staying at Thallen's for the night. Stupidly he had brought a gun into her home without even asking if it was okay. Even if she said it was, he would have hesitated. He never lost track of it. He always knew where it was. Yet he was certain that he hadn't brought it inside. 'How could I forget?' The nightmare was the least of his worries. It wasn't the first time he had a dream like that. 'Still...'

Nothing terrible had happened. That much he was grateful for. Nick rubbed his hand against his not-so-smooth chin, thinking that he should have shaved the previous day. It was too late for that now. "I wonder if Thallen's up for breakfast." Despite everything or rather, because of everything, he was hungry. This morning seemed like the perfect time for pancakes.

Thallen stood in the bathroom towel drying her hair. She was dressed in a fresh pair of jeans, a new bandage wrapped around her calve, and a ruffled white sleeveless blouse. Her feet were bare against the cool tile and she ran a brush through her long red hair. Her fingers trailed through after it. The mirror was covered in a layer of water and Thallen had to run her free hand over the glass to bush away the water droplets, making her reflection visible. In the mirror she thought she saw something looming over her shoulder. She jumped at the dark shadow and when she turned, there was nothing there. I'm imagining things, she told herself. The towel she had been using fell to a crumpled pile on the floor and she kicked it aside. The pain in her leg was beginning to subside, but she still desperately wanted those pain killers, if not for her leg, then definitely her head.

She opened the bathroom door in time to hear Nick talking to himself. "I wonder if Thallen's up for breakfast." She eyed him curiously before coming down the hall and out to the living room/bedroom/dining area.

"What did you have in mind?" she asked in her usual cheerful tone. Her eyes raked across the mess of her apartment and her face paled. The apartment was a disaster. She couldn't believe she actually let him come in here, no matter how drunk she may have been at the time. This is embarrassing. Hastily, she tried to straighten up a bit, but there was a stabbing pain in her calve that carried most of the way up her leg. Instead, she plopped down on the couch and stretched out her leg on the foot of the bed, letting it rest. Standing in the shower and getting dressed had been more than enough exertion on it for now. She needed the pain killers. Best get to the pharmacy before anything else deters me.

Opening his eyes, Ash stared at his lap for a few minutes, blinking the fog away from his vision. Lifting his head, his gaze fell on a silver metal table with a lamp. It reminded him of those kinds of tables in interrogation rooms in the movies. Shifting his gaze around the room, Ash was met with boring grey walls in a perfect square around him. The wall directly across from him was a reflective glass wall... Dread chilled his blood and sent a cold sweat along his spine. This was a police room...areal interrogation room. Swallowing hard, Ash shifted his arms and found them restrained behind his back. Fully aware now, Ash registered the hard surface of the chair he sat in, the tingling feeling remaining in his muscles from the electrocution...or was it just a stun gun? Sighing, Ash pulled against his restraints when he felt a sudden craving jump to the front of his mind. 'Uh-oh...they took my cheese...and I left my milk with that Nick guy... This isn't good at all.' Ash pulled harder, feeling the handcuffs cut into the flesh of his wrists. The door slammed open, making Ash jump. In walked a man with slicked back black hair with a touch of grey, dull grey eyes, and a typical white, button-up shirt. The sleeves were rolled up to his elbows and his tie bore an interesting pattern of christmas trees. Flat-ironed dark blue dress pants and brown suede shoes. "Morning...are those too tight?" Inwardly, Ash breathed in relief, a sensible person to help. "Y-Yeah...just a bit..." "Get used to it, son." He glared at him, narrowing hate-filled grey and Ash cowered down into his chair. "So...it says here in your file that you punched a man to death in the park. Then you broke into private property and injured a few dogs and a number of other crimes committed a few years back that you never answered for. Got anything to say about this?" Ash frowned, "I didn't think they'd get hurt... They should've realized I was an alpha male and backed down. And I...I didn't mean to kill that man! He killed Sandy!" The man tilted his head to the side slightly, "Who's Sandy? Your girlfriend? Sister?" Confused, Ash shook his head, "N-No...she's my friend. She...was my friend... That man killed her." Sniffing, Ash averted his gaze from the man. Hearing an irritated snort, Ash's head snapped up only to be met with the back of the man's hand. "Don't give me that sh!t. You f*cking killed him in cold blood and you know it!" The sting from the previous slap jarred Ash. "I didn't mean to do it... I...I just snapped. I blacked out and...and then he was dead." Another irritated click of his tongue and another slap followed. Tasting blood, Ash stifled a laugh. "What's so funny?" "Pfft....your tie....is way out of season." Ash's blue eyes darkened and he glared up at the cop. "You're a cop, ain't ya? Aren't you supposed to be...oh...I dunno...with the law?" Pulling back his fist, anger blazed in his grey eyes and the door opened again. "Whoa, whoa...John! What are you doing?" This man reminded Ash of Gibbs from NYCSI or another of those cop shows with his silver hair and fancy blue suit. "I'm gonna teach this smart-mouthing punk a lesson. Do you have a problem with that?" "Yeah...we're supposed to be asking him about the other murders. J-Just take a chill pill, John, alright?" Ash leaned his head back and stared at the ceiling for a moment before a slap of a folder being thrown onto the table drew his attention down. Ash found several pictures of dead faces strewn across the table. "Wh-who are these people?" "They're your victims." "H-Huh?" "Admit it!" John's fist planted itself in the side of Ash's head, knocking him and the chair over onto the floor. "What the hell was that for?!" "Admit you killed them you psychopath!" "I didn't kill anyone!" "Don't you lie to me!" John punched him again and again, cutting Ash's lip on the wedding band on his ring finger and cracking the bridge of Ash's nose. "John!" John's partner righted Ash and his chair. The second he stepped away, John hit him again, breaking Ash's nose. Blood now ran down Ash's chin from his lip and his nose. Spitting a stream of the crimson fluid onto the floor, Ash licked the blood from his lips and laughed, "You have nothing! I didn't kill these people...and y'know what? I didn't kill that guy in the park." John shook his head, uttered a curse and punched him again. Choking on his blood, Ash coughed blood out of his throat, "Thank you sir, may I have another." "Smug little..." hitting him again, John shook his hand and rubbed his blood covered knuckles, "What is WRONG with this kid." "It doesn't hurt...if you guys want to hurt me, you're going to have to do something much more."

Most people would call it luck that she woke up without a hangover. Teagan would say it involved the invention she had tested out. Oh how someone would probably love to be able to rehydrate everything in their sleep. Teagan purposefully programed Eight to hook the machine up to her when she was above her normal limit. So when she woke up she was only greeted with a very small headache.
Teagan looked over at her watch and sighed, she really was not in the mood to make breakfast for herself. She opened up her Red Phone and checked to see how much of a balance was in her account. Although she knew she would have enough money, she had to check to see if the supply check went through yet.
Teagan got herself dressed and grabbed her things before she left the house, taking one of the bunnies with her. She knew that someone was probably going to call her, so she was glad she indirectly gave Red Flag her number for the Green Phone. Teagan looked over at her car in the driveway and just stared at it. So much work spent on a car she couldn't bring herself to use. She hated cars. She had a good reason to.
Teagan bit her lip and decided to just walk to where she was going. If she saw a bus she would wave it down but she did not mind a nice walk on such a lovely day. Teagan heard a clicking noise behind her and turned to see Seven following her again. She sighed and opened up her bag to allow the metal creature a place to stay. It hopped into the bag and she closed it up and kept on walking.

"What did you have in mind?"

"U-um..." How long had she been awake? He scratched the back of his head, embarrassment getting the better of him as he scraped his mind for a response to give her. "Good morning." She had to have been up before him. He wasn't used to anyone actually waking before he did. 'Did I oversleep too?' Nick looked at Thallen's bandage leg. He couldn't help but feel a pang of guilt on seeing the bandages.

"We could go out if you want." He suggested. "I mean--not out out." Nick added quickly. "Er...or I could make you some breakfast here. Living alone kind of forces you to cook a lot." That didn't sound much better. Out loud it felt like a depressing statement. At least to him it did even though he wasn't bothered by living alone. He crossed his arms and looked around at the place. While his apartment wasn't exactly the cleanest place ever it was still in better condition than Thallen's--no, it was rude to think such things. Nick wondered if she would mind him helping her clean the place.

Nick smiled slightly. "Aside from a decent breakfast, what do you want? I'm free all day."

There was a knock on the interrogation room holding Ash. The badge he had shown the police was identical to the other Alpha's. FBI. Nicholas White. "He's our problem, not yours." The man told the police officer who was outside the room, getting the officer to step aside once Ross had shown his badge. Two Alphas in two days. He didn't expect this one, however, to be in police custody. Ash obviously hadn't been very careful. One slip-up and they could all be exposed.

Either way, he wasn't going to let one of his own kind be imprisoned(or worse). He opened the door to the interrogation room, speaking immediately before the police inside could react. "That's enough playing good cop bad cop. He's coming into custody with us. Uncuff him and hand him over."
