    What I'm saying is.

    Your teacher thinks allergies are a good way of being different, BUT I'm allergic to walnuts and cashews, both of those nuts can kill me within 5-10 minutes.

    So I'm saying that there are other ways to be different rather then have a fatal allergy that can kill you.

    Get it now?

    O.o I forgot that I was allergic to penicillin...

    And that sounds a lot like what my teacher explained, from what I remember from classes :sweatdrop:...

    Shoot...same here. Actually, try amoxacillin, bactrum, erythromysin (sp on all o' em?)...all I think are derived from the same mold. Which sure made strep throat and ear infections fun when I was younger...-_-;

    Allergies just seem to be genetic defectiveness to me. For instance, my allergy to peanut butter. There's probably something natural (organic) in it that can't be broken down or just antagonizes my body. My mom ate it maybe twice when she was pregnant with me (or so she says).

    Speaking of allergies, recently I've been really sick. And all my friends have. I wonder how this happened. Is anyone else getting sick?

    I just have plain pollen allergies, but when I get really cold I sneeze really bad and crap. It sucks.
    I also can't wear nickel for too long because it makes my skin red and bumpy.

    Allergies are the cause of defects of the immune system. They could be genetical and pratically they create temporary "illnesses" of the skin and/or inside the body and these symptoms vary according to the subject and of the defect of the immune system. Allergies could also be defeated, through a direct contact with the thing that causes the symptoms, a constant direct contact makes your body create more antibodies, so your immune system will be able to protect the body the next time you have a direct contact with the thing top wich you're allergic.
    I don't have allergies fortunately. XD

    I once ate a whole cashew to try and create antibodies, the doctor said it might work, but instead I had to stay in hospital on an IV for a week.

    Oh. Well, it still depends on the immune system etc. There are many types of allergies, the powerful ones and the weak ones. And I think that the doctor had right, your allergy can be defeated, it just needs sacrifices like everything.
