Those are quiet frankly...bull.Most aren't even real quotes.On top of everything else MGS has alot more to do with ideology and soceitic growth.It also shows a scenario that could've been possible with the right catlysc's.You've forgot some of the greatest quotes like inside rexs hanger,when Liquid pins the one armed grey fox against the wall and liquid goes on about in the middle east Frank Haeger(Grey Fox) says "A Cornered Fox is more Dangerous then a jackel!!!!".

thats an understatement. the games section is for talking about games not someone elses hatred (or something else negative) for a game in the form of a parody (or something like that).
I have to agree with you there Fayt.MGS is more then just a game.It is a statement of how the world is built on Ideologies that clash to form conflict which grows into Physical events which change the course of hisory, e.g,Hitler and WWII.

It is more then just a Game.If the right events were put in place MGS could come to Reality and it also has ideological significance too.It also wakes people up to the fact that there will always be someone in the background manipulating things as they see fit.To just write it off as a game is down right wrong.Who is to say events like this haven't occured.We wouldn't know because the government would have destroyed the paper trail,Anything involved would've been destroyed or Stored away from public eyes and the people envolved would probably be put into hiding.You say it's just a game as if you know for sure but no one can really be sure unless the governments lay everything out on the tables for us and we'd have a better chance at stopping crime completely then that'll happen.Your probably just going to say that what i'm saying isn't worth anything but if you really think about it,it isn't as nonsensical as it seems...
As far as I can see, this does not have to do anything with the actual MGS games at all. Parodies are fine and all but not when someone takes them out of context and start going 'LOL, this is what mgs is all about, fools. hehe, i'm so funny because I watched a stupid MGS parody and it was hilarious'. If we were discussing the games, I'd be more forgiving if someone said 'it's all cutscenes and no gameplay' or 'the characters in the game dont seem real to me'. However, in this case, it's just a topic with someone ranting how messed up they think MGS is. Whether the author of this topic intended this or not; it's still in the wrong section and this is about games, not parodies.
Derp. Also fail on the part of the OP. Just because you dislike it doesn't mean anyone else can't like it. And MGS is a statement on the world as it COULD have been. And many people are convinced that there is a shadow organization running the world such as the Freemasons and the Illuminati. And MGS4 does sort of strike a chord of reality with war being nothing more than another industry which is outlined in the Project for the New American Century. MGS is fiction but there is a good foundation of underlying fact to it as well.
Old Snake is officially one of my favourite characters of all time. Win. Something odd about Metal Gear Solid 4 that I don't think anyone noticed. It doesn't have a titular Metal Gear. Metal Gear 1 and 2 had crappy prototypes, MGS1 had Rex, MGS2 had Arsenal Gear, MGS3 had the Shagohod which wasn't really a Metal Gear and MGs Portable Ops had another crappy prototype. MGS4 has Gekko, the Metal Gear MK.II (or III), a cameo from REX and RAY, and finally a prototype of Arsenal Gear.
