Has anyone else seen 'The wedding of River Song' yet? I was watching it earlier and one line popped out at me. I don't want to give anything away but River says something along the lines of 'It all happened in a different place, in a world that never was'. I paused it, rewound to see if I heard correctly and then had a little giggle to myself. Wishful thinking or a KH fan writing the script? Probably just a coincidence but It made me laugh all the same :) Also if anyone wants to discuss Doctor Who with me, feel free!
well, she's talking about the world that formed because she refused to kill the Doctor. I don't think they're going to go off of that. But it was a good episode. I though they were going to end it with that season, but I'm glad they didn't. But still, are they ever going to answer that question? Because I really want to know his name
I don't think we will ever find out, mostly because it would have to be the most amazing name in the history of everything. And whatever they come up with will just not live up to the expectations of the fans :/ And yeah I'm glad they didn't end it there either, I really like Matt Smith as the Doctor.
Weren't you paying attention? His name is "Lookintomyeye". But, seriously, part of me wants to learn his name, but, then, another part of me doesn't, because then that would spoil the mystery.
I wonder if that's something we'll ever get. I mean, the whole thing about the Doctor's name was first brought on in the Museum, but I just really want to find out. I mean, "Doctor Who" doesn't raise the question of his name? For all we know, his name could be P. (No relation to our P)
I doubt they'll ever reveal The Doctor's name, probably to avoid fan disappointment. Also I knew they weren't gonna kill off the Doctor like that, that would have been the most disappointing way to end a series that has been around since the 1960's. On a side note, I wish they would bring back Sutekh the Destoryer. He was awesome.

oh yeah, that's who I'm thinking of. I don't plan on watching any of the shows before the first season, or the techincal 2nd first season, so I don't know who he is. I know I should watch them all, but the acting from those ages just seems kinda....I don't know, cheesy
It would be really difficult to watch them all anyway, especially the older ones. They recorded over the original reels after they were aired, and no known copies remain of some episodes :S I wouldn't mind watching some of the originals, but there just seems so much to get through, 40 years worth at least! Anyways thank goodness you don't need to know all that stuff to enjoy the current series.
I haven't seen it yet, but the line is quite the nice little treat for anyone who knows KH. You may just be overanalyzing it, but it's quite funny.
His name is John Smith guys come on, lol Seriously, not sure about his name but I did love the last aired episode. I had to replay then ending cause through watching the whole thing I thought to myself, "Okay Moffat, how will you get out of this one?" Can't wait for the new episodes to air Christmas ^_^
