Well Tim Burton will sure give it the right directionly treatment. But I would like to see the cast list before I make a call on this one.

I agree, this is sure to be a very nice remake since we're talking about Tim Burton here.

Tim Burton did a great job on "The Nightmare Before CHristmas" & "The Corpse Bride". No doubt, this will be awesome too!

    Odd...

Well, I didn't really like how Chocolate Factory turned out, so I don't really have high hopes for this. :/

    Still a must-see, though.

This will definitely be the twisted opium trip that Dodgson intended it to be.

Hmm...it could either be really terrifying and I won't watch it, or Corpse-Bride style, only mildly horrific, and I would watch it...

Apparently Sarah Michelle Gellar, (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, "Daphne" in the Scooby-Doo movies, and girl from "The Grudge" who's name escapes me...)

Is set to play as Alice.

The movie itself though is going to be based more on the video game "Alice" which is of course, based off of Alice in Wonderland, but with a much darker take on it.

Sounds perfect for a Burton flick! 8D

Is it just me or is the film industry using previous ideas more and more these days?

    SECOND!!!!!

What's really funny is how I was talking about this with a friend, 3 years ago. About how Tim Burton should make an Alice in Wonderland movie. And he winds up actually doing it!

EDIT: Seriously, I'm curious as to how he'll make this a good movie with a beginning and an end. The book is just loaded with (random) adventures which don't necessarily link; even the Walt Disney version 'lacked' a little something from the original work.

Tim Burton and Alice in Wonderland seem like conflicting styles. It'll be interesting how he works it out. Sounds like a definite must see though.

Oo, I read about this a couple of days ago! He was going to work on this movie and one of his older ones, the one with the dog brought back from the dead.

That's the one. As funny as it is, I saw that movie late at a stormy night, the very lights were flickering - and when it was finished the lights went out. And I was alone. That scared the hell out of me. That's Tim Burton man. :3
