Alice in Dreamland

Alice glanced at the Mad Hatter, a small grin on her face before she took a skip closer to him.

"Things have changed. Why?" She asked him, knowing he was a resident and probably had no choice but to witness the changes. She looked around, clasping her hands behind her back and blinking up at the dark sky before peering around at the unfamiliar faces. "How very odd indeed..."

 

Len stared at Alice with his usual grin. "Ah, Wonderland. Or should I say, WONKYland!" He changed back into a cat, laughing to himself. "I however, arrived just before that happened." The Cheshire Cat jumped up onto the tree branch again and settled down. "The Cheshire Cat you knew saw the maddeness that would happen just as I fell down that rabbit hole. I took his position but also kept his memories of you."

 

The Hatter glanced over to Alice, and smiled. "Ah, there you are." He sighed and looked at his watch. "Ever since my spat with Time, I never seem to have much of it." He snapped it shut. "However, I suppose you deserve an explanation." He glanced over to the Cat. "You may listen to, though I doubt you will."

"My dear, Wonderland isn't the same because you are not the same. Imagination is the source to Wonderland, and, as is the case with everyone now, imagination has gone horrifically wrong." He let out a manic laugh, then resumed his cold demeanor. "And it's up to the ones from the Outside to fix it."

 

The Cheshire Cat rolled his eyes. "Thus most of us have developed MAD personalities that are more demonic then our old ones. I used to always be cheery but now, you can see that I can show hate and disgust towards people while still keeping a grin." He said, grinning still."And Mad Hatter, you missed out something!"

 

The Hatter sighed and rolled his eyes. "Oh, enlighten me, all knowing feline" he said, voice dripping with sarcasm.

 

"Very well. You missed out one VITAL thing they all must know!" The Cheshire Cat rolled over onto his back. "They can't leave until they restore Wonderland. Meaning the more time they take, the more time they'll be in comas."

 

"Hey." Daevon whispered into rin's ear. He slowly stood up on the soft earth, glancing over at the hatter.
"Who's the stiff? and where he get such an awesome hat?"

 

Rin blinked, looking at Daevon. "The Mad Hatter. And ask him about the hat, I don't know."

 

"Alright."

Running over the hatter, Daevon began to wave furiously.

"Hey, hey you! Hey, hey over here! I need to tell you something, something important."

 

"ALICE imagined it. She thought up of the hat while creating Wonderland." The Cheshire Cat grinned.

 

The Hatter glanced over at him. "Yes? What's so important that you're waving like a madman?" He laughed as he realized what he said. "Well, figuratively speaking, that is."

 

Daevon turned around pressing a finger to his lips

"Shush limited edition. big people talking right now."

Turning again to face the hatter, the collector looked over at his new aquaintance.

"........hi"

 

The Cheshire Cat blinked and turned into Len. "I AM NO LIMITED EDITION! JUST BECAUSE I'M A CAT, DOESN'T GIVE YOU THE RIGHT TO TREAT ME LIKE ONE!!! I AM A HUMAN BEING ASWELL!" He shouted, cat ears and tail appearing on him. Looking at himself, Len sighed. "Oh dear. My anger forced the Cat outta me."

 

"Hello..." The Hatter rolled his eyes. He missed his old companions. But...when changed started, it couldn't very well be stopped.

 

"Correction, you're a talking cat. Do you know how many of those I've seen in my life!? 20.....and three quarters. that makes you very rare and don't get me even started into the whole autobot move you can do."

"How much for the hat?"

Daevon asked politely, staring at the ace of spades lodged in it's ribbon.

 

Len glared at Daevon. "Have you ever met a CHESHIRE Cat before, my boy?" He asked, trying not to hiss at him.

Rin looked at The Mad Hatter. "Wheres the March Hare and Dormy?"

 

"That just makes your rarer. I've only seen two of those. You understand don't you?"

 

"I made it myself, boy. Hence why I'm called The Mad Hatter. I make hats." The Hatter shook his head, then turned to Rin. "Gone. I've no idea where." He grinned wickedly. "Probably the same place all of our insanity went."

 

Len blunk. "W-Where have you seen them before?" He asked, curious.

 

"Oh, so there is more of them?" Daevon asked, wide eyed and bushy tailed.
"Mind if I see a couple?"
