Alice in Dreamland

Rin still watched him, slightly amused. She sat down by him.
The Cheshire Cat appeared again, on Rin's lap. Transforming into Len again, he rested his head on her lap. "You're not alone here Rin. Alice has returned to face the Red Queen and others have joined to save their sanity.... or lives."
"But what does that mean?"
"You and Daevon are both mad. So is Alice and so are others. Some are suffering ill children. If the Red Queen is killed, Wonderland shall be back. Right now, i'd call this WONKYland." Len laughed slightly, grinning.

 

A muffled huh escaped past the blockage in Daevon's throat. His collectables were talking. About what he didn't know.

Len looked up at Daevon, grinning. "So. I'm guessing i'm right when I say you're mad."
"What about you then Cheshi-"
"Len. If you please. At least while I'm like this." Len itterupted. "I got ill, like you must remember and was taken here before it all went mad. I loved it so much, I wanted to become a part of Wonderland. The Cheshire Cat didn't want to be that anymore so I took his place. Of course, that led to my dying on the outside but here, I'm fully alive forever."

Daevon didn't understand. He wasn't mad, not anymore. If he had a chance he'd be smiling at the moment. In one big swallow, the maniac finally finished his meal.

Len watched him. "Or used to be mad... I digress..." He turned back into a cat. "I suggest you two stay together." He disappeared into nothing, just leaving behind his grin. Then evantually, that disappeared too.
Rin looked up at Daevon. "He's my brother. My twin. Thats why he's been helping me so much..... Well, what about you?"

 

"ooh, a pair set."

Daevon scooted closer, struggling with his jacket. Stupid inconvenience.

"What are your names? What others are there to collect? Any rares or limited offer ones?"

 

Rin blinked. "You make us sound like collectables!" She said, suprised. "My name is Rin, The Cheshire Cat's is Len. And what do you mean by others? As in other people?"

 

Daevon laughed. "That's because you are collectables, duh."

"So please, answer the question. grabbing everything you can in this world is a limited time offer."

 

"B-But, I'm not PART of this world!" Rin said. "I came here.... After falling asleep for the first time in weeks...." She sighed.
The Cheshire Cat appeared again. "And you can't take me away. You can't take ANYTHING in Wonderland away. Otherwise...."He held up and paw and blew, the paw blowing away as sand.
Rin gasped. "Meaning...?"
"Yes. ANYONE who tries to leave before it is time shall die and become a part of Wonderland."

 

All this talk was big, scary, important, and any other word you think someone would think. Daevon, however, isn't that kind of someone. He was much too busy trying to collect his items. To his right, the antlered snake he owned was trying to get away.

The collecter yelled out "Get back here you sneer!" and he jumped into the air, pouncing on his prey.

 

As Daevon pounced, the sly cat lashed out and broke the wrappings on the straight jacket, making it fall from him and land on the floor. "Now your jorney may be easier." Looking at Rin, he grinned. "I suggest you head to the Village of the Dammned first. Help MIGHT be there...." He disappeared.
Rin watched Daevon. "Alright then..."

 

Catching the sneer in his teeth, Daevon flapped his arms in childish joy. finally, his arms were free!

"Fwee at lasht! Fwee at lasht!"

ooc: actually, we're supposed to catch up at the garden with alice and friends.

Rin laughed at Daevon, watching him look like an idiot. "Heh... Where do you think we should go?" She asked him.

 

Daevon pointed of in a random direction, not entirely understanding Rin's words.

"Where the wild things are!" he said with a sort of slurred excitement.

 

"Fine then!" Rin laughed, taking Daevon's wrist and running down the path along the waterside, towards where he pointed.

 

Startled by Rin's sudden enthusiasm, Daevon latched on to the nearest thing in his reach. That happened to be Len. And so or trio headed off, deeper into the world that was wonder land.

"Are we there yet?" Daevon asked

 

Rin stopped, looking around. "I don't know where we are....."
Len disappeared and then appeared in front of them. "We're deep in the forest...." He disappeared again.

 

"What keeps happening to that guy?" Daevon asked.

"It's not like he needs to keep dissappearing like that. You know him?

 

Len's grin appeared. Blowing out, it made a funny sound. "OH! Second chorus.... `Twas brillig, and the slithy toves, Did gyre and gimble in the wabe...."
Rin laughed. "Why, you're a singing cat!"
Len lifted his ears up with his tail like a man would with his hat. "CHESHIRE Cat....." He started to disappear again. "All mimsy were the borogoves, And the mome raths outgrabe...." He almost disappeared.
"Oh please stay Len!"
Len appeared again. "Very well! Third chorus...."

 

Kayla cautiously walked into the garden, her eyes searching. It was the kind of garden she would have liked. Nice plants, but a little over-run. Grabbing some kind of fruit from the nearest tree, she tossed the apple shaped food up and down in the palm of her hand as she walked along.
